Another first reading from this author, and a first in a series.

Quite a good action thriller

Good paced, good action, gripping and plenty of action, maybe a little bit over the top, but enjoyable

There was a lot of shooting and killing and Foxy is the jammiest person I have ever read about in the survival stakes but I suppose that is part of what makes her who she is. She comes out of it with all her limbs and faculties, a ticket out of the life and probably feels she has avenged her family but did Luci4 or whatever get her 2 million ?

Ok nothing great.

Three times I put this book down, but picked it up again to try and finish it. I did,. As I said nothing great, missing something, maybe second one will have it?

The main character has a legendary name as an assassin. She always seems to survive all battles. The end may lead to her transformation in the next book.

Very entertaining. Lots of action and loved the fact the main character was a Hispanic woman. Could definitely be a movie. Looking forward to the next in the series.

Cookie cutter post apocalyptic story with a short happy finish

Foxy Valdez comes in guns ablaze as she sets her sites on her current mercenary target. She’s preternaturally lucky not getting shot too bad somewhat due to the fact she does not give a f*** if she lives or dies. She’s preternaturally lucky comes across a couple of guys who help her escape the mercenary life and a girlfriend to o boot.

Fast-paced, action-driven yet nuanced thriller! Brian Cotton brings it all... edge of your seat action, emotional intensity, and then seals the deal with a touch of humor. His characters elicit real emotion and you find yourself connected to them in ways you didn't imagine. A great opening salvo to start a promising series of books. Viva la Foxy!
