My dream has always been to sing. When Jason Hayes came into our life and married my cousin, he helped me without question. I’ve never forgotten it, and will forever be grateful.
Now, here I am—one successful singer.

My Rodeo Hero is the 3rd book in the Gunther ranch series by Anneke Boshoff.
Throughout the first 2 books, Evelyn has been one of my most favourite characters so naturally I was looking forward to her book.....
And let me tell you, it will get you hooked from the beginning, Evelyn and Hunter have had a crush on each other since forever and it is fun to see them navigate that...... Hehe✨✨
There were a few ups and downs in the story but that only made it more interesting...... Though I would say it was a lot like a typical romance book and not a lot was unexpected per say........ That is way I only gave it 4 stars.
Also one of the highlights for me was the relationships in the book and incorporating the characters of the other 2 books so beautifully, which honestly is not at all surprising as Anneke always writes beautiful connections.
It was a short and quick read and if you are looking for something to binge in romance, well..... here you go...✨✨✨

I loved this book but I’m also a complete cover for a Cowboy book!! I love the cover and how the characters came together smoothly and the chemistry was written real well and relatable.

As always, Anne doesn't disappoint. This is a perfect sweetness book with a twist of thrill. It's different in the way that both of the Mc's have crushes on each other but never have met. You will be kept on your toes until the end all the way to the epilog. That took me by surprise in an amazing way. You fall in love with the characters from the start ❤️👌 This is definitely a binge read book. Once you begin, you won't be able to stop. If you are looking for a romance book to read, this is a must !!!

This was a great story! I enjoyed it from start to finish and read the entire book in less than 24 hours, I couldn't put it down once I started reading!
I loved how instead of just one of the main characters having a crush on the other, Hunter and Evelyn had crushes on each other that neither one of them knew about. That was one of my absolute favorite things about the story. And she had posters of Hunter on her wall when she was growing up then got to be with him, I love that! 🩷
Another thing I enjoyed was the mystery and suspense elements of the story, I love reading a romance that has a little something extra added to the storyline and the mystery part was super well written. In the end, it turned out to be someone totally different from who I thought it was.
One of my favorite parts of My Rodeo Hero was the last chapter before the epilogue along with when Hunter and Evelyn were finally able to meet face to face for the first time. 🙂
I have a couple of other favorite lines/quotes that I'll share in a moment but this one in chapter 3 stood out to me as I could definitely relate to Evelyn's feelings about Hunter in this particular situation as it's a situation I've found myself in before but I was a little bit older than a teenager at the time.
"It's not that I don't want to go out with them. I just don't want to see Hunter and his girlfriend right now. I feel like that teenager who saw him for the first time and knew I could never have anything with him."
Here are a couple of my other favorite lines/quotes from My Rodeo Hero;
"I keep telling myself that Hunter is a jerk, and I’ll see it when I meet him. He will not be the sweet, handsome, caring, and the protective guy that I make him out to be. He has to be a jerk, or my heart will never be able to heal. Stupid heart. Why couldn’t I have a crush on Chris Hemsworth, Cole Swindell, or even Brett Westgrove? Someone I know I’ll never meet."
"His deep, rumbling laugh sends that tingling all over my body. I want to lock him up and have my way with him, but my father raised me to be a lady, so riding the cowboy will have to wait for a bit."
This is a great quick read for anyone who loves cowboy romances and is in my opinion, my favorite book of Anneke's Gunther Ranch series so far, I can't wait to read more of the books in the series if there are more coming. ❤️

Oh my Gosh, y’all. Can we just talk about how hot Hunter is? I love the name Hunter, and Annke Boshoff gave my rodeo star so much justice on the most platinum of platters.
Evelyn, a singer, is beyond a beautiful character, so when she was matched with Hunter in this series, I was so into it. I couldn’t wait for this book to release, and I’m so happy it finally did!
My Rodeo Hero was a short read, but it was full of intense moments and tons of steamy and spicy moments. I love everything about it, especially the ending that I didn’t see coming until it whapped me in the face.
All in all, a very good read from an incredible author!

Evelyn has a stalker, she’s hoping it’s just a fan……But is it.
This is a fantastic read❤️❤️

One of the best romance books I have ever read in a while, amazing writing skills and you won't be disappointed once you start reading it too.
enjoyed this book. It wasn't the typical cowboy romance novel, which made it all the better. . Even though I figured out the Who it will end early on, it didn't take away from the plot of the story Evelyn& Hunter

True love wins no matter what. Hunter is one of my favorite MMCs I've read this year, and I'm so happy with how this story went down. The relationship was beautiful. Perfect. It shows how people learn to compromise for each other. And at the end of the day Hunter would do anything for Evelyn. The storyline was amazing. The writing style was perfect. I can't wait to read more from this author
