A good collection from a wide range of writers giving glimpses into days past in the big brown land.
Some grabbed my attention more than others, but that is expected with a collection like this.
The harshness of conditions, of the times and the attitudes. The driving need to survive against a land that in many ways must have appeared determined to destroy the settler or immigrant or youngster heading out into the world.
Definitely worth a read. I would recommend the option of the audiobook for this title.
