This is a sweet, fun story. The MCs' first on-page interaction? He hits her with his truck after she trips in the snow and ice. He had to follow along with her grandma's plan after that. A marriage of convenience will solve both of their problems. With the support of her friends and under the skeptical eye of his mother, Whitaker and Ginger agree to a most unconventional arrangement that becomes the best decision they ever made. I listened to the Audible version. The AI narrator didn't take much from the story.
Mistletoe and Magic Wishes (Snowflake Village Christmas Shorts #3) by Em Tate – The local baker needs a husband to claim her inheritance from her grandmother, and the local grump who hit her with his car looks like her best option. This was surprisingly believable for this series of Hallmark movie adjacent novellas! I loved it! Happy Reading!
Liked that it had a little more conflict and a love story. It reads like a hallmark movie. I absolutely loved it. I like that she sticks up for him when his mom keeps putting him down and that she was by his side through it all. I also like that they end up getting married. I overall enjoyed the book

A Christmas time marriage of convenience short story about a girl whose grandma stipulated in her will she needed to be married to inherit her bakery. He’s the town recluse hunkering down to write a novel. Clean romance and quick to the point as expected for under 70 pages. Ok for what it was and would make a nice full length book if fleshed out and developed.
⭐️⭐️⭐️: If only this was a full length book *sigh* - I loved the concept, grumpy recluse agrees to marry sunshine baker to secure her family business, but it becomes clear this is more than a marriage of convenience. It was giving Jasper Vale by Denver Perry feels!
Short and sweet. I like reading short books that get to the point right away. This story didn't disappoint. It was very predictable, even the twist at the end, but it was entertaining. I read it in a day. Ginger must marry by Christmas and Whitaker, the grumpy recluse, wants to prove he can commit, decide to go through with a "fake" marriage. This book was clean, sweat and full of romance. Recommend if you don't know what to read and are in the mood for a quick romance.
A very sweet and romantic story. I love what she said about her cookies being so good. She says she puts a sprinkle of love in each batch. Very well written and the characters were special. A short read but very enjoyable.
This is a cute, clean short story. Sometimes, you just need a cutsie story before diving back into your normal reads. I wish it had been just a little bit longer, maybe a little more of a story but again it was a good easy read.
The way the MMC and FMC meet is so funny and I thought they were going to be enemies after thamt moment.I cant believe the grandma put in her will that her granddaughter can't inherit the bakery unless she is married.
