Red Company: Steel Rain

Rate this book
A barrage of ice meteors streaks through the void, targeting every colony and even Earth herself. The devastating force of these nearly invisible projectiles is sudden and catastrophic. Devin Starn’s Red Company and the seasoned crew aboard the Borag are called upon to assist. Initially tasked with providing emergency services, they soon find themselves on a perilous mission to join forces with the Earth Navy in hunting down the source of these deadly attacks.

The terrifying precision of the strikes—systematically targeting vulnerable human populations with unerring accuracy—suggests a sinister intelligence behind the scenes. As the Solar System teeters on the brink of disaster, it becomes clear that someone or something is orchestrating humanity's extermination.

Can Red Company stop this unknown enemy's plans, or is the downfall of human civilization inevitable? Discover the truth in the thrilling fifth installment of the Red Company STEEL RAIN.

Shades of old kyle riggs, but very good

Script sometimes repetitive, didn't care much for the name Starn. Too close to Stern for my liking. Good action though slower than the undying merc. Series. I am intrigued enough to keep reading.

Held my interest but ..

It read like I'd read it before .. Too many similar scenarios to the last Red Company book I read .. I think I'll back way from this formulated type of novel.
B.V.Larson is very readable but sometimes I wonder who is writing.

Best in the series so far!

Great action with solid character development. The hero is someone you can get behind and the villains need spaced! A good military sci-fi thriller.

Just saying.

Space ships will not be made is steel. They aren't today. So, what's with this magnetic boot thing?
Nice book.
