This one had a good subplot as far as the trafficking rings go, but the romance felt pretty bland. Like just going through the motions and hitting the expected beats. It was pretty disappointing, especially because I like Pop Tart and like Clay, and the circumstances where they met were pretty interesting on paper, and they had plenty of potential that ended up falling flat.

This is a well written MM mafia/shifter romance with strong characters in Pop-Tart and Clay. The author does a great job developing the story and painting her scenes perfectly. She takes you into their lives with instant love, passion and chemistry and kept me turning the pages with the danger and violence. She moves the story quickly and smoothly and delivers another terrific book to the series.

This is the fifth book in the Omegas of the Shifter Mafia series and features Jeremy, aka Pop Tart and Clay, the HR rep for one of those horrible omega breeding houses.

Jeremy was undercover as “Jordan,” working as a guard in one of the hellish breeding houses, waiting for a shipment of omegas when he scents the most amazing smell in what he took to be a storage closet. Turned out it was the office of the strangest HR department in the history of HR departments. Like, the turnover rate was evidently astronomical based on paperwork but there were never any new employees coming through. Whatever…it was a job. At least that’s what Clay tried to tell himself. But that was before he came across some suspicious files and couldn’t lie to himself anymore.

All it took was one sniff of the beautiful omega for Jeremy to know that he was his mate…now the stakes were even higher. Now he not only had to bring down the kidnappers while keeping the omegas safe but he has to do all of that while still protecting his own omega mate from harm.

I’m loving these shifter mafia books; far from being typical mafia, these alphas are all good guys, working to keep omegas safe from those that seek to imprison, forcibly breed and traffic them. And still, despite all that, they’re all big ol’ teddy bears when it comes to their omegas and all the little ones suddenly being born into the “pack”. Sweet and sexy book, 4.5 stars!.

The Alpha Warrior's Mate is a standalone contemporary MM romance by Lorelai M Hart, which is set in a shifter omegaverse. This is book is everything that I need and expect from Hart's writing. Strong alpha men, fiesty omegas, knotty heats that more often than not end up with cute babies by the end of the book.

On top of all that, this is also a mafia romance. Although, the mafia aspect is what puts in play all the pieces needed to bring together alpha Jeremy and omega Clay, I wouldn't call this a mafia or crime heavy story. The focus is primarily on Jeremy and Clay finding each other and discovering what exactly their mating means. Any crime or mystery that is happening around them, although interesting in terms of story telling, isn't quite as important to this book than the romance is.

Jeremy is infiltrating a mafia family, knowing that there are people being trafficked who need to be set free. Clay is an omega trying to make it along in a very male world. On the outside they are opposites, but fate seems to think that these guys need to be together. In fact, I really liked the spark between Jeremey and Clay and I love the world that they exist in.

I prefer full length novels, but I enjoyed reading this short story, which is the fifth in the Omegas Of The Shifter Mafia series.

While I did enjoy this read, the same problem cropped up, that crops up in all Lorelei M. Hart books: the reader never finds out what the main characters look like, their height, or their age. The reason is that this information is never included in their books. I find it very frustrating, because I like to imagine what the characters look like.

The second problem I have with this book, is that the name of the series is misleading: there is no mafia in any of the books. There is a team of vigilantes tracking scumbags who are trafficking omegas for sexual slavery. The team goes in, save the omegas, and kill the scumbags. The team are doing a good thing, but they are not mafia, nor are the scumbags and the perverts. I have read all the books in this series so far, but I started reading it because according to the name of the series, there is mafia in it. Sadly, there isn’t.

Despite the two issues mentioned, I liked this book the best so far in the series, so that was a bonus.

I give this book 3.5 stars.

Jeremy is part of the group of alphas working to dismantle the omega breeding houses, places they thought were sanctuaries for omegas until they learned the truth. Now, they still follow their mission, but need to be more secretive about it.

Jeremy is undercover as a guard at a new house being readied for a new group of omega breeders, working to gather as much information as possible to thwart the house getting up and running. He stumbles across an omega unwittingly working for the bad guys, only to discover Clay is his mate. Now he just needs to rescue him from here, then keep him safe afterwards. What could possibly go wrong?

A continuation of the Omegas of the Shifter Mafia series, each has one of the alphas trying to bring the breeder houses down finding his forever mate in the process. Safe houses, strong alphas and omegas, fated mates, bad guys, kidnapping, rescues, mating, knotting, and new babies to swell the group. A short, entertaining read with a recurring cast of supporting characters.

Ok, so this is Pop Tart's book and I can't tell you how hard it is to keep saying that name, so I was actually glad that for most of this book he was Jeremy. At least with Jeremy I felt like I got to know him through the other books because he got more page time than the other side characters. Unfortunately, I'm starting to notice a pattern with these books. They almost always have a middle of the book pregnancy, a third act major conflict, and each book ends with a birth before an epilogue from the POV from the next book's protagonist. I can almost time it now. I really don't like books that are so predictable. At least this book had a bit of action in it, but again, some of these infiltrations or conflicts with the bad guys were fade to black. There was a scene where they somehow calculated when a shipment of omegas would arrive at a specific place and instead of walking us through that extraction, they were just like, "we went in, got the omegas and brought them back with us." Just like that? It was just a bit disappointing to see some potential plot points glossed over.

This is book 5 in the series Omegas of the Shifter Mafia by the writing duo of Lorelei M Hart. I love this series and when I see these new releases pop up on Booksprout, I can't wait to read and review.

Pop-Tart finally gets a book... It seems like we've been waiting for ages when in reality the series is only 5 months old. Hey, a girl wants what a girl wants.

Things happen fast in this book... Pop-Tart goes undercover to get info on the next transport of omegas. The team is hoping to get to them before they get to their final destination. Clay, an omega recently out of college, just happens to be working for the bad guys. He begins to get suspicious and starts a little investigation of his own.

Now I'm ready for King and Ryan's book! This ought to be good.

'Coming here and infiltrating this breeding house was the best and worst decision of my life.'

Another great addition to this series. Great world building and wonderful characters. This time it's alpha wolf Pop-Tart/Jeremy's story, and he's the one stuck going undercover for this mission. Omega bear Clay was a hard worker and was excited to have gotten a job that was double his salary. But soon things weren't adding up and something was off.

I liked their first accidental meeting. Clay was feeling lonely and his attraction to Pop-Tart was strong and immediate. Despite that, he was concerned to him since he seemed to be needing a moment. Pop-Tart knew immediately that Clay was his omega. And with a shipment of omegas on the way that would be defiled and abused, and now his own fated one in danger, the stakes were even higher for him and his team. The story was suspenseful and I was hooked. Loved it. 5 stars.

This is book 5 in the Omegas of the Shifter Mafia series and they should really be read in order. This book focuses on Jeremy and Clay. Jeremy, or Pop-Tart as he is known is an alpha wolf shifter. He and his team believed they were helping omegas but found out that they were in fact helping to protect those that were abusing omegas. So the team has a new plan, take down their old bosses. When Jeremy is undercover to help discover another omega breeding house, he runs into Clay. Clay is an omega bear shifter who has accidentally gotten mixed up in this terrible business. He believed it was a simple HR and accounting job. Now he is trapped. This is their story. The book is well written and easy to read. I liked the chemistry between Clay and Pop-Tart. I enjoyed this book.

This was book 5 in the "Omegas of the Shifter Mafia" series. Pop-tart finally found his mate. Alpha wolf shifter Jeremy aka Pop-tart is one of the last single Alphas in the group so he goes undercover at a breeding farm which he hates. Omega bear shifter Clay has a boring job he is an accountant working in a mansion in an office with only him in it and he is lonely. Clay is beginning to realize that something is wrong with and when he finds out he is horrified. Pop-tart accidentally goes in to an office that he thinks is a closet only to come face to face with his mate he knows he has to get him out of there. This was a good read and a good addition to this series. Pop-tart is willing to help anyway he can to save the people that he loves. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Exciting! Pop-Tart, volunteers for a mission because the rest of the team is mated up and are parents. He feels it is better for him to take the job because he thinks he can handle the "ugliness" of trafficking better. Pop-Tart, accidently meets Clay, the omega accountant while undercover. He is having an emotional break when he runs into Clay and catches feels. Clay, is immediately attracted to him, while trying to maintain his surprise at learning a bit more about the people he is working for. There is violence, saving, new developments and a kidnapping and rescue. Good flow, too quick, great characters. Nicely done, great cover art. Well done! Part of the Omegas of the Shifters Mafia series each reads as a standalone with alphas and the omegas that capture their undivided attention. Jeremy an alpha with a goal along with his men trying to stop them from trafficking omegas from slavery, their team is to save the omegas and put a stop to them permanently. Clay is an omega bear trying to live in a male dominated world caught up in the wrong people but when he meets his fated mate things take on a new perspective despite the struggles they though being complete, and total opposites add to that outside influences but will they realize they are stronger together, will his team save the omegas, will Clay learn who his friends are true friends that is, and where are they headed happiness …maybe?

Jeremy is undercover a guard for the mob and Clay started working for the mob didn’t realize it. Clay felt that something was off on his job but I was making good money. Jeremy had to watch over a shipment but it was omegas he let his boss know about it. By accident he walked into Clay’s office and wanted Clay for his, Clay found a paper of all the omegas listed as breeders and made a copy. The mob boss had a gun to Clay’s head and brought Clay out to put him with the other omegas because he caught Jeremy had been talking to Clay. They got away and gave the thumb drive to one of Jeremy’s friends and was able to get into their system.

I think I'm just wanting a little more out of this series. I really love the characters, and all the setups for the romances are great, but there just isn't enough depth to any of them. The stories are all starting to feel very similar, and this one honestly felt the easiest so far. There wasn't a lot of action or suspense, and I love that Jeremy got his happily ever after, but I would have liked to see more from him and Clay, because they were both such great characters.

I feel like we're going around in circles with the overarching story about the "bad guys" and who we work for at this point. Either go into that more, or let it go and let us just be warriors who save omegas and move on.

The boys are back in full force. Rescuing more omegas and burning breeder houses to the ground. Literally... one pissed of dragon. This segment features omega Clay, and his fated mate, Pop-Tart...er. Jeremy. I have been waiting for Pop-Tart's story. I was not disappointed. I love this series. There is a moral perogative that permeates the lives of all our guys. Yes, there is violence. Well deserved violence. There is also love at first sight, sweet, goo-goo eyes, and steamy sex. Jeremy and Clay get their HEA. King's book is set up. I can't wait. You need to grab this book...Now!

I didn't realize this was part of a series but when I figured it out it made sense to me why it was a bit confusing.

I loved the story of Jeremy and Clay though.

The dark beginning taking them into a world where only together both would survive.

I love how they connected immediately and you could feel how much the other loves and fears for the other.

Everyone needs alphas like these omegas have. Kind, gentle and not afraid to get their hands dirty to save those who need help.

I can't wait for the next book but in the meantime I'm going to try and catch up to this one and then read it again!’.

I loved The Alpha Warrior's Mate: An MM Mpreg Shifter Romance Book 5 of Omegas of the Shifter Mafia. Jeremy is undercover when he finds his mate working for the enemy. Clay knows something is off but hasn’t figured it out yet. Meeting Jeremy changes something and he knows he has to help save the omegas. Finding his mate wasn’t what Jeremy expected but he’s so happy for it. They just need to finish their business. Throw in a baby and a kidnapping and you have a great story. I love the characters and how they continue from each book. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

I loved this book! It’s time for the team to rescue more omegas and it is Jeremy’s turn to get his mate. He is sent undercover to shut down yet another operation and will find his mate, Clay, when and where he least expects to. There will be ups and downs for the two but fate has brought the two together at just the right time and it will bring them both their happily ever after. I love this series and can’t wait to read what comes next!.

It's Pop Tart's turn and his story doesn't disappoint. The group he works with is still saving Omegas from the bad guys. Pop Tart stumbles upon Clay who is innocently working for the bad guys but find something that will help. The romance between them is instant and Pop Tart being the kind person he is doesn't expect Clay to feel the same way he does, because of what he and the guys need to do. This is a other great series and love the fact that we have a Mafia theme throughout. We still get the usual Mpreg shifter romance that Lorelei excels at. This book The Alpha Warrior’s Mate is about an alpha wolf and omega bear. So much action and moral value dilemas throughout this story that kept me completely hooked. Great characters , found family and fated mates plus not forgetting the adorable baby (or two) and HEA.

Yay!!! Jeremy/PopTart got his forever mate. I really adore Jeremy and it was wonderful he scented his mate but under awful circumstances. Fate gave him Clay and it was a miracle he was saved by the band of mafia brothers just in time. All that ugliness doesn't outweigh the sweetness of their romance and found family love. I absolutely adore this series and can't wait for more.

This group of highly trained, overprotective, grumpy, and oh, so alluring men have captivated me since the onset of this series. Jeremy (Pop Tart), is no exception. The settings and plot of this book are detailed and keep you engaged while reading, but it's the MCs that steal the show with their banter and dialog.

I enjoyed this story just as much as the previous ones in this series. We get Pop Tart's(Jeremy) story with Clay this time. Along with their story, we're getting closer to finally seeing the family take down the bad guys. I'm looking forward to King's story with Ryan next.

Pop-Tart went Undercover to infiltrate a Omega kidnapping and breeding ring. What he wasn't expecting was to stumble into a closet size office and meet Clay his mate. The subject matter of these books are difficult. But they're all well written and I can't wait to read King's Story.
