I'm completely hooked on the America Falls series, and 'First Strike' is another fantastic installment. What makes these books so compelling is how real the characters are; you feel their struggles and root for their survival on every page. The author has a gift for taking a post-apocalyptic scenario and making it feel so terrifyingly plausible that it's genuinely scary. I couldn't put it down.
