From the author of The Heirloom comes another dreamy, escapist adventure about a die-hard skeptic woman who sets off on a mission to prove her horoscope wrong.

Leah Lockhart is proudly science-minded and woo-woo averse. But the life she’s carefully curated is knocked suddenly off course, first by a destabilizing case of vertigo, and then by an astrology reading that claims she’s living way out of line with what was written in her stars.

Incensed, Leah sets off on a mission to prove that all of astrology is bogus by finding her star twins in the world—people born with her exact same astrology. But her true guides on a whirlwind journey through Venice, Istanbul, New Orleans and beyond turn out to be three people already in her the mother she thinks abandoned her, the father she thinks saved her, and the former boy next door whose love could be the path to her truest self.

Astrology has always fascinated me. I even took courses to learn how to interpret charts, understanding how planetary alignments shape personalities and how transits influence daily life. I know, I might sound like I’m speaking in riddles, but hear me out—my astrologer accurately predicted when I’d get married and how my career would shift! So, when I came across a book centered around astrology and the impact of a reading on someone’s life, I was immediately intrigued.

In All the Signs, Jessie Rosen introduces us to Leah Lockhart, a physician who prides herself on her scientific mindset. However, her carefully structured world starts to crumble when she experiences an alarming case of vertigo, disrupting both her career and sense of control. Reluctantly, she agrees to an astrology reading, only to be told that she is completely out of sync with the life she was meant to live. Determined to disprove this cosmic claim, Leah embarks on an unconventional journey to compare her experiences with those of her “Star Twins”—individuals born under the same astrological alignment. Her adventure takes her across breathtaking destinations, from Venice to Istanbul, but what truly shakes her isn’t the stars—it’s the people she reconnects with along the way. A long-lost mother, a steadfast father, and a childhood love she never expected to see again all force Leah to reevaluate the past she thought she had left behind.

This novel is far more than a story about astrology; it’s an exploration of identity, destiny, and the delicate balance between skepticism and belief. Leah’s evolution is deeply engaging, making the reader question how much of life is dictated by choice versus fate. The novel blends humor, emotional depth, and a touch of romance, weaving a compelling narrative that is both entertaining and thought-provoking.

With vivid settings, well-drawn relationships, and a protagonist you can’t help but root for, All the Signs is a delightful journey of self-discovery. Whether you’re a firm believer in astrology or a die-hard skeptic like Leah, this book offers a fresh perspective on what it means to follow the signs—whether they’re written in the stars or within ourselves.

Many thanks to NetGalley and PENGUIN GROUP Putnam/G.P. Putnam's Sons for the opportunity to read and review this captivating novel!

I think this is a book that will resonate with a lot of readers. Leah’s journey of self discovery was interesting and relatable. Haven’t we all struggled at some point when our minds and body aren’t in alignment? How many of our decisions are influenced by expectation and those we love versus what we truly want and need? There's a sweet childhood friends to lovers, second chance (closed door, kissing only) romance woven into the story, but the book is primarily about Leah's journey to be her truest self, so this one fell more into women's fiction for me.

I appreciated the overall message of the book, but the pacing was off and I started to lose interest in the middle. There were a lot of side quests and secondary characters to keep track of that bogged down the story for me. Thankfully I stuck with it (in large part due to the audiobook) and found the ending pretty satisfying. I both read and listened to this one and I enjoyed the narration by Carlotta Brentan a lot. She did a good job varying her voices for the different characters, but her male voices weren't the most convincing and sometimes it was hard to determine who was speaking.

Ultimately, All the Signs is a hopeful novel about finding yourself and I really liked this quote about astrology and its influence on our lives:
"I don't think astrology is something you need to believe in, but I do think it offers a path to believe in yourself."

This is one of the most fascinating books about a character’s journey to find herself that I’ve ever read. Leah is a successful doctor, seemingly on the path that’s meant for her until two things happen: a sudden illness, and a reading from an astrologer. Those two events make her question much about her life, past, present and future, and she sets off on a journey to find the answers she needs. Leah is an intriguing character, her internal conflict and the people and places she encounters at war with everything she thought she believed and wanted. I was riveted by her story, never knowing which way she’d turn when faced with hard choices she had to make. I received an advance reader copy of this book from the publisher.

I was initially drawn to All the Signs because of the cover and the promise of Venice. However, I really liked the story. It had an interesting premise and made me think.

There is more to the story than just trying to disprove astrology and Leah is a compelling and sympathetic character. I enjoyed watching her try to find her true self, as resistant as she intially was to doing so. Her trip to Venice was a delightful armchair adventure and I also loved the side trips she took while she was there. I also appreciated the time she spent with her mother and learned even more as a result. Something that happened at the beginning of the story reminded me of another novel I read around the same time. Although in this situation, I felt like the people who initiated the lawsuit were being a bit unreasonable considering how much it was out of Leah's control and unexpected.

The descriptions brought characters and settings to life throughout the novel and I felt like I was right by Leah's side the entire time. However, the editing could have been better for the final publication. I noticed little errors while reading it, but nothing that took away from my enjoyment.

I am definitely interested in checking out Jessie Rosen's previous novel and anything else she writes after this one. It is perfect for fans of Lori Nelson Spielman and anyone who wants an amazing virtual vacation!

(Trigger warnings below.)

Movie casting suggestions (although with some of the ones I have, it could also be made into a musical):
David: Theo James
Leah's Dad: Peter Gallagher
Leah's Mom: Christa Miller

About the book 👇🏽

✨My thoughts:

I loved this book so much. This was a hybrid read/listen and I loved both versions! The narrator was amazing and there was no beats skipped when switching between physical read and audiobook. I’d have to recommend both of them and highly. This was a very unexpected read and I am so happy it reached me! I’m not going to lie chapter 34 had me crying, there was so much truth being said and would benefit anyones eyes and ears the words met. It’s also a fast read at 283 pages. I can’t believe this is the first book I’ve read by this author but I will definitely be going back to read The Heirloom. If you enjoy fast reads that pack a punch, you need to get your hands on All the Signs when it hits shelves 5/6/25!!

“…I lived like I was living because I thought it was good. Appropriate. Nice. Pleasant. And certainly pleasing to all of you…If I had more Thanksgivings, I would not be so worried about being so nice. So appropriate. So thin. So successful. Or so pleasing to all of you.”

Happy reading 📖✨♌️

This was hands down one of the most fascinating, all consuming books about the main characters journey to discovering themselves. I was fully immersed right from the beginning and finished within 24 hours!

Leah’s internal conflict within herself, especially after her recent diagnosis of vertigo, was so compelling! I was rooting for her to really find her purpose from the beginning. All of the side characters added so much depth to the story, even all the star twins she met along the way. I really feel like her tremendous voyage through life those few weeks were so influential on who she became by the end of the book. There were a few extremely heartfelt moments within that had me tearing up and feeling so many emotions for the characters.

I just can’t reiterate enough how beautiful the whole journey for Leah was. She started off as this closed off, very black and white character and by the end it’s like she can suddenly see colors and let herself go when needed and really strive to live her very best life. I love the role David played for her throughout the book. He really became that confidant that she needed.

This was so much more than just a contemporary romance book, at its core it’s filled with incredibly relatable characters, some humor, astrology and a beautiful message. This even had me looking up my astrology signs to learn more!

I had the amazing opportunity to not only read along with a physical book, but listen along as well. The narrator did such a beautiful job at bringing all the characters to life. Even the quirky ones, the voice changes she did matched them perfectly to what I would have envisioned. You can’t go wrong with either reading or listening to this one!

I would highly recommend to all my book besties who love heart, humor and the most touching messages in their books!

Book 32 of 2025 - ☑️! Thank you to NetGalley, PENGUIN GROUP Putnam | G.P. Putnam's Sons and Jessie Rosen for an ARC of All the Signs by Jessie Rosen, in exchange for my honest review.

Having thoroughly enjoyed Jessie Rosen’s first book, The Heirloom, when I saw All the Signs come up on NetGalley, I requested it quickly. Rosen’s sophomore novel avoids the unfortunate “Sophomore Slump” that others have run into.

All the Signs centers around Leah Lockhart - a successful OB/GYN poised to take over the family medical practice after her father retires. One evening, during a gathering with friends, she has an astrology reading that propels her into a journey that takes her to Venice, New Orleans and Istanbul as she searches for Star Twins - people who have the EXACT same astrological map. While on the Start Twin quest, she’s also confronted with thinking about her relationship with each of her parents, and her old neighbor/first love.

Rosen’s writing is so vivid - much like in The Heirloom, you feel like you’re traveling to all of the cities Leah goes to in All the Signs. Leah’s a strong FMC, and is well-written and well-rounded. If you’re into the “Person of Science/Person of Faith” stories in books, TV or film, this is definitely one for you to read. I believe All the Sings is also the first book I’ve read with an MC (or character, for that matter) has vertigo.

All the Signs was a quick and enjoyable read, and I’m already looking forward to Rosen’s next book! 5/5 ⭐️ overall, and while there’s a romantic element to the book, I wouldn’t necessarily give it a 🌶️ rating. #NetGalley #AlltheSigns

What if the life you’re living isn’t the one that was written in the stars for you? While this book did have a romantic sub plot, I would argue that the bigger romance was falling in love with your own life. Honestly, I’m kind of intrigued now to figure out my own signs and see if I’m following the path that the stars had dictated for me.
While there were some unrealistic aspects— such as being able to travel on a whim (granted it is explained by the fact that she’s a successful doctor and therefore has doctor money)— I think the biggest realistic point was having to conform to the person that the people surrounding you expect you to be. A lot of that is rooted in tradition— like we’re a family of doctors, so you must be one too.
It’s not unheard of for the mind and body to be at war with each other, and this book was that. In her mind, she’s supposed to follow in her father’s footsteps and be a certain way— but her body keeps detouring her another way— the way that the stars have destined for her— and she finds she is happier when she follows that path.

Thank you NetGalley and GP Putnam for the arc for review!

A self discovery journey that comes thanks to a twist from the stars! Thank you beyond words to Jessie, Netgalley and G.P. Putnam for the eARC. This was an ABSOLUTE HONOR!

What To Expect:
⭐ Single POV
⭐ Self Discovery Journey as the main storyline
⭐ STEM Careers
⭐ Astrology + the zodiac signs
⭐ Burnout + illness due to stress
⭐ Second chance romance as the secondary storyline
⭐ Family + love of a community as a background storyline
⭐ And a touch of magic led by the stars
⭐ TW: Issues of parental abandonment, misunderstood illness, discussion of cancer and pre-natal/post natal/maternity care

My Thoughts:
First I absolutely ADORED Jessies debut adult release "The Heirloom" and I will say once again if you didn't read it go get it! Follow up books are always scary for the author but also for the reader. I know this one was written with a lot of heart, love and with a big leap! I think she hit the mark. I love this one as much as I loved her last.

Jessie has a way of writing a scene that is puts you physically and emotionally there. It's really one of the most difficult parts for me as a reader to feel fully in a story. Immersed so far that only the story exists and I need to know the whole journey before I can step away. The bright visuals, the truth in stress illness/maybe even a hint of burnout and the emotions that come with it all felt very real and raw. This could be me personally relating as I have been on a long journey (thanks COVID) of self discover, re-finding myself as my career has changed, but also healing for severe burnout. I could relate to the main character (Leah) as she tries to figure out if she is in the right career, happy with her life, happy with where she is, but also feeling strangely as though the contentment she has is and isn't enough.

I have to say I wasn't expecting a whole twist on astrology that led me to finding out my own signs. I always knew I was born as a cancer. What I didn't know is how much the other portions of your signs also define and describe who we are or where we might fit in the world. I am a skeptic, driven by science, very much like Leah, but I do believe we can find depth to our lives, and guidance in other places. Seeing how Leah went from structured, buttoned up, black and white to living life with more color was a real comparative visual for myself. When she tries on the dresses in Turkey and then New York I actually looked at my own closet of mostly navys and blacks thinking I need more color.

If this book brings you nothing else, I hope it brings some laughter, color and life to your world! It definitely did to mine and I am a bit more open minded about the stars today.

Jessie, thank you for this story! Thank you for sharing it with the world! I absolutely adored it and will treasure these words! I think I need another trip to Italy STAT! <3

I love Jessie's writing so much and the stories she gives us are real and raw and you can tell that she writes from the heart. I loved The Heirloom so much and not saying that this one is better because I can relate to Shae so much in that book. But All the Signs is SO FREAKIN GOOD!! We have Leah who is a little bit lost (I mean aren't we all at some point in our lives) and she turns to her star charts looking for some answers (there is a lot more to it than that) but omg the traveling again, AMAZING!! The way I was listening to this in the office and, OH MY, my eyes were getting a little teary eyed. I love Leah so much and just everyone go read this book!

I received this e-book through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you to NetGalley and the author/publisher for the copy!

When Leah Lockhart is invited to her cousin's girls night at her house and is given an astrology reading that is just completely wrong, her life gets turned upside down. Quite literally, because that same night, she develops a severe case of vertigo that puts her professional career on hold. Because of this, she sets out to research, gather data, and prove that astrology does not align with our lives. Through her travels, she learns more about herself and her past and has to make some big decisions regarding her career and relationships.

I am not one to get into astrology, so I thought this book would be an interesting take on it. Although the book did seem to drag on, this just wasn't the book for me, but it did pull some emotions out, hence why I am giving it 3 stars instead of any lower. I did enjoy the character development for Leah and was glad to see some emotions being brought out of her in the book as well.

Thanks to NetGalley for a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

The plot sounded intriguing, with a serious doctor being confronted by an astrologer who questions Leah's life choices (and causes her to look for answers). Since astrology is a completely new subject for me, I spent too much time trying to understand the concepts, with some of the details (especially about transits, moons, and star twins, etc.) escaping me. When they came up in the story (as they did often), I'd stumble each time. It also seemed to me that Leah did a total turnaround in her feelings about astrology, although I didn't really feel as though there was a lot of evidence or information that would have convinced her so quickly and thoroughly. I guess it was all about feelings, and I didn't feel the same things that she did. Perhaps it was because it didn't seem as though we knew her well enough to be able to make the major distinctions between her previous self and her newly discovered self. Actually, I liked and related to her better before she decided to upend her life and career, so it wasn't a satisfying conclusion for me. David is a supportive character, but the love interest portion of the book didn't click for me. I did, however, very much enjoy reading about Venice and Istanbul, so the descriptions added a nice element to the book.

This was a quick read but it packed a good punch. And well since Leah was a Leo and I’m a Leo I was instantly drawn into the story. That is not to say you have to be a Leo to enjoy the journey. Leah has a lot of trauma when not comes to her parents but she’s buried it for so long when it surfaces she’s not sure how to deal. Looking for her star twins sets her on a journey of self discovery that will change her life.

This was my first book by Jessie Rosen and it was such a good one! I definitely want to read Heirloom now! I loved how this book had a main focus on self-discovery. I’m not really into astrology myself, but I found this book to be so intriguing and I just thought the entire concept was so well done. This book is definitely more of a women’s fiction book with the romance aspect being more of a secondary subplot. I loved Leah Lockhart’s character and thought the character development in this book was absolutely perfect.

Leah Lockhart is an OBGYN and is a believer in science. But her life seems to get knocked off track when she gets a case of vertigo and when she gets an astrology reading by a man that claims she’s living out of line with what was written in her stars. Determined to prove that all astrology is wrong, Leah sets off to find her star twins in the world. Along the way, she reconnects a long lost mother, a father she thinks saved her, and a former boy next door whose love could be the path to her true self.

All the Signs by Jessie Rosen is an enthralling novel that explores fate vs free will. Rosen takes readers on a both spiritual and literal journey with Leah Lockhart, a women who is suddenly faced with a life-changing medical challenge: Leah learns sometimes our stars and fate go hand in hand and to embrace destiny. As Leah comes to terms with her past, one that she has ignored, she begins to discover sometimes we have no control over our own destiny. All the Signs will keep you reading and wondering, are your own stars aligned?

A unique and quirky story about finding yourself by living your life for yourself. If you’re a Leo, you’re gonna want to read this. Even if you’re not, I think we can all relate to the pressure of family expectations.

Some of the dialogue was a little over the top and left me wondering if I sound this crazy whilst talking about “the signs” 😂

However, I did tear up towards the end and ended up enjoying this.

I really enjoyed this book! I’m excited for others to read it to see how it resonates with them. Even though there is some romance in the book I personally wouldn’t put it in the Romance genre. I would categorize it as Women’s Fiction with a side of romance.

This story was pretty deep when it comes to looking at your inner self and trying to figure out if you’re living authentically or not. I am a fellow Leo, so I resonated with Leah in this story. I also don’t follow astrology closely, so it was relatable to hear her skepticism about it.

I hope that if you read this book, you will look inside yourself and ponder the things that Leah is trying to figure out. This story gives a great perspective on life, which is so short. Live it to the fullest! 🩷

Poster child for type A personality, Leah, finds herself in the unknown and unplanned after a vertigo spell. Jessie Rosen takes us on a journey as this science minded, OBGYN, MC battles against astrology and finding her own true self.

I absolutely love this unique premise. I went down the rabbit hole myself with the rising and moon signs. I felt seen with Leah. She was doing what was expected of her staying in the box and following in her dad’s footsteps. I loved watching her journey and growth from clothes to travel to going on a whim. I wanted to jump on a plane to Italy and that is saying a lot.

Thank you Putnam Books for my physical ARC and ebook on NetGalley!

Leah is a doctor working in the women's health practice that her father and grandfather established. She is good at her work and lives a steady, routine life that she enjoys. Out of nowhere, though, she is forced to stop working due to medical and legal reasons. Left without a path forward, Leah finds herself drawn to the idea of disproving an astrology reading that she received. In this reading, Apparently, Leah's star signs indicate that she should be living a completely different type of life. The medical issues Leah is having might be a result of her actual life being so unlike that ideal life that the stars have revealed to her. But Leah doesn't believe any of that, so she sets herself up to prove it all as trash.

Now, I do not believe in astrology, so the basic plot of this story wasn't that interesting to me. I chose to read the book because I liked Jessie Rosen's book The Heirloom and wanted to give this one a try. I was nervous that I'd be annoyed while reading this story, but I wasn't. While this story is about astrology, it's equally about questioning whether the life you have fallen into is really the thing that you want. It's about learning to listen to your body and yourself even when others want you to behave differently. It's about dealing with your life taking a sudden turn that you didn't see coming. And I could relate to all of those things without relating to astrology specifically. I could even relate to sudden, unexplained vertigo. There was a fair amount of substance there given the somewhat silly pretense.

My favorite thing about reading Jessie Rosen's books is how she writes about travel. I love reading her descriptions of wandering around a new place and feeling a mixture of awe, delight, and confusion. I love how her characters learn about themselves through their travels. I love how she has characters talking about how they make decisions about their lives and finances based on their desires to travel. It isn't seen as an indulgence, but as a priority and a choice that people make in order to grow. My favorite scenes in this book were set in and around Venice. I wished the character had remained on her other adventures for longer, but enjoyed reading about the four additional locations where the character traveled. I am excited to see how Jessie is about to grow as an author as she releases more works and hope that she keeps writing about the joy found by discovering new places around the world.

Thank you to NetGalley for the free advance copy of this book in exchange for my review.

Everything seemed to be according to plan for Leah when she assumed the helm of the family practice. When a health related episode threatens the future of the practice and her medical career, her cousin arranges for a celestial reading for Leah. Never one to buy into pseudo-science, Leah embarks on a mission to disprove astrology. This journey may not yield the answers Leah was seeking, but it could help her find the answers she needs.

I grew up with an extended family where they would always ask when the person they were talking about was born in order to assign their star sign for better understanding. So, I am not stranger to the world of astrology and am rather fascinated by it all. It's those shards of truth you find in the signs or horoscopes that pull me in a bit, and I loved how it was a lunching point for Leah's personal journey.

Leah had been doing what she believed she was destined to do. She was the third generation of Lockharts to serve the medical needs of the women. But when a health issue and an interesting astrological reading have her reevaluating her past, Leah begins to question her life choices. I loved how she sought answers outside the box. Even if her motivation was to prove it all wrong, Leah approached the task with a fairly open mind.

Part of her journey had traveling to foreign destinations. The time we spent in Italy and Turkey was vivid and amazing. I always adore taking a "trip" via a book, and Rosen did a wonderful job capturing these locals.

Leah also spent time reconnecting with some pivotal people from her past. I especially liked this part of the story. It seemed important for her to confront her mother and get better explanations as to why she disappeared. But the icing on the cake was her reunion with the boy next door who grew up to be quite an incredible man. The banter, the sparks, the history - all the things I love existed between these two, and I was crossing my fingers and toes that they could make it all work.

Overall, I had an amazing time tagging along on Leah's personal journey as she set out to disprove what was written in the stars and ends up finding her true self and her destiny.

All the Signs by Jessie Rosen is a story about a woman who goes on an epic journey of self-discovery after receiving a life changing astrology reading.

Leah Lockhart is a doctor working in her family's thriving practice when she is struck by a strange illness that derails her life. When she receives an astrology reading that suggests her illness may be due to the cosmic forces at play in her life, she decides to prove her horoscope wrong. When she finds her star twins- people that share the same astrological alignments as her, she compares their lives to hers which sets her off on an adventure around the world where she discovers that her true self was hiding deep within her own heart.

As an astrologer myself, I was excited to read a novel with astrology as its main theme. I thought the star twin idea was a clever way to have Leah introspect on where she was living out of "alignment." Leah experiences the conflicting feelings that many people have when they first have an astrology reading- doubt, suspicion, disbelief, and guilt at not owning up to their true feelings. Astrology is a map, a navigational tool that can help someone find their way through life if they are feeling lost, uninspired, or afraid. In this novel, Leah got to travel around the world meeting herself in different environments which challenged her own self perception and perspective of life. Not everyone has the opportunity to do this, but everyone does have the opportunity to take a risk and find their happiness.

This is a light fiction read that is not meant to be a self-help novel nor a mystical visionary piece, so there are flourishes of fancy with glamorous locations and convenient timings with a fast plot. However, it is a feel good story about living an authentic life in total harmony with your heart, and all the messiness that can ensue when you take the chance to live your best life.

Thank you to the publisher for providing me with a free arc via Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review. The opinions expressed are my own.

Trying to live your life to please the people around you can lead to personal disaster. Just ask Leah Lockhart. She comes from a family of doctors. When her father retired she took over the practice, just as they planned. At a gathering of her friends entertainment was provided by an astrologer, who provided star charts for everyone. Leah is not a believer. When she develops severe vertigo, he suggests that it is because her alignment is off. A severe attack in the delivery room puts the mother in danger. She is suspended from her practice and faces a law suit for malpractice. While she can’t work, she still needs to keep busy. What better way than to develop a project that disproves the influence of astrology. Using her star chart she employs social media to find her Star Twins, people born in the same year on the same day and at the same time. It results in an invitation to join a group in Venice to help her look at what she really wants in her life. From Venice to Istanbul she begins a journey of self-discovery. While she loves what she does, there have been no changes in the practice in years. She has her own ideas to promote women’s health, but her father, who returned to the practice while she traveled, refuses to listen. There was a feeling of lightness and an end to her vertigo as she made her plans and connected with people, only to have the tension return as she faced returning to the life she led. Changes had to be made.

Leah is a beautifully developed character that you can feel for. When someone that she grew up with reappears in her life there is also a chance of romance. He is a physical therapist who teaches her to meditate and contributes to her feelings of lightness. While Leah’s journey begins with an astrology reading, it is ultimately one of discovering a life that is satisfying and connecting with the people and family around her. This story served as my introduction to Jessie Rosen, but she has now found a place on my must read list. I would like to thank NetGalley and Penguin Group Putnam for providing this book.

I would like to thank Net Galley and G.P. Putnam for the opportunity to read this as an ARC. I did not like this book. Let me say that first. I did read The Heirloom,by this author, and really did not like it either. As to why I decided to try this one, well, I can't resist a book with a protagonist with my first name. I know few other Lea's in life or in fiction ( most spell with an h, as in this book), but since there are so few I include both spellings. ( OK, Lea Salonga, Lea Thompson and Lea Michelle, but a small subset.) Anyway. the Heirloom was about a girl, who wasn't sure how she felt about her fiancee's choice of a ring and so traveled all through Europe(without him) to track down information. They were many characters, mos of whom we saw at the beginning and the end, but ignored or lost track of in the middle. Ok, so All The Signs is about Leah Lockhart. She is a doctor who is in a partnership with her father to run a woman's clinic. They refer to each other as Doctor, even at home. ( not dad, and Leah, but Doctor.)Her mother the family years ago, and live in California. Leah is unmarried , and nearing 40. Her father retires and she takes over the practice. Then a series of things occur- an old friend ( a crush really), who is now a Physical Therapist comes in to her life. Leah's cousin arranges an astrological reading , which tells Leah that she is not living her true life, and she has an episode of vertigo while with a patient. She is unable to work due to the vertigo, and needs to see a Physical Therapist ( what a coincidence). In the meantime she decides to embark on a project tp prove astrology wrong. She is supposed to be doing exercises to help her vertigo, but is able to dash of to Europe to get more information.( sound familiar?). Once again many of the characters we meet at the beginning disappear until the the last third of the book. I finished the book, but it was not easy. This was just not for me.
