Little People, Big Vincent Van Gogh - Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara recounts the inspiring tale of Vincent van Gogh, a globally renowned artist. Young Vincent was a reserved child, enjoying nature and bonding with his brother Theo. Post-school, he ventured into art dealing, showing potential but struggling with emotional control, leading to his departure. He explored various careers, like teaching and bookselling, but none felt suitable. In his free time, Vincent penned lengthy letters to Theo, adorned with captivating drawings. Theo, appreciating his work, encouraged Vincent to pursue art. Vincent committed wholeheartedly to painting, evolving his unique style and conveying his emotions through art, from sorrow to joy. Though he faced little success during his lifetime, today, his paintings are revered and showcased worldwide in galleries.
“And though it took time for the world to recognize his talent, little Vincent continued to express his feelings with every single brushstroke. He proved that-even when we feel a bit lost—we can find joy by doing the things we love most.”
We are huge fans of Vincent Van Gogh. Even as a child my daughter was fascinated by his art and as an adult she still is. I was excited to be able to read this ebook ARC all about Van Gogh.
