Let's begin because I've a lot to say! I've already read a book written by the same author, so I was convinced this one's going to be as amazing as the previous one, even though the vibe of both the books is poles apart. And I loved both the books with my whole heart. Contrary to her previous book, this one has more angst, banter, thrill, mystery, and a hell lot of sizzling chemistry.
Our MMC, Rafail, is the sizzlingly hot brooding CEO with a cold exterior and a heart of gold. And I can scream at the top of my lungs that HE is the greenest flag. The way he cared for his girl, trusted her, cherished her! He literally worshipped the ground she walked on. He had his entire closet matching with the eye color of his girl, guys! Ahhh, that stole my heart away. He raised my standards AGAIN. And now I'm officially married to HIM. (Girls don't come after him)
Our FMC, Anika, is the black cat. Her vibes aren't the soft feminine but the fierce strong feminine. She endured so much pain that it broke my heart. But that didn't break her. She emerged from the ashes like the phoenix. I loved her description, which was bold, strong, independent, fierce yet kind and soft-hearted for her loved ones.
I loved the sequence of Nino. The way both Anika and Raf took care of him and loved him made me dance with joy. The bond that Anika shared with Zephyr and Alex gave so much depth to the plot. And the past description and journal enhanced the plot so much. It had everything that I looked for: a strong FMC, a green flag MMC, their sizzling hot chemistry, lovable side characters, thrilling mystery, good humor, and so many strong emotions. It was a package deal, and I enjoyed this book thoroughly.
I'd highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a thrilling romance with a strong FMC, a swoon-worthy MMC, and a captivating plot. The author's writing brings the characters to life, and the chemistry between them is undeniable. I enjoyed reading this book. This Romantic Thriller is a quick and fast paced read. Totally binge worthy and obviously I completed in one sitting.
Coming to the characters, Anika and Raff are a match made in heaven. But, that has to wait when the revenge held by Anika is so great that Raff might be in danger. Families join forces to uncover mystery revolving death of their loved ones is touching.
Raff is in love with Anika even before he knew what she was to him! This undying love is tested and they have to trust each-other once again!
This adventure is thrilling and heart warming at the same.
This book will for sure hook anyone from the starting itself. Loved it....

Well she did it again! Yes she took my heart again with her amazing writing and amazing plot.
This book was definitely a good read for me. It wasn't that intense but wasn't that light either. It was just the perfect amount of spicy and plot I always need.
Rafael Darkwood, the man with a good childhood, given everything at just one snap of his fingers didn't know how bad it would hurt to lose the only person in his life. His childhood best friend with whom he grew up.
He made it his life mission to find the cute girl with two pig tails who might not have those pigtails anymore .
Meanwhile Anika Blackthorne, the girl who received all of her parents love until one tragic night, she didn't anticipate would ever come.
Little Anika was left confused with just two dead bodies of her parents beside her. However she wasn't one to sit silently and thus, the revenge was on its way.
However when she finds out that her childhood best friend was already engaged with the enemy's daughter, things spiralled out of control and she was out for blood.
I'll recommend this book to even the people who don't read dark romance, because as I said it's a perfect mix of everything and it's your turn to finally explore more.

Veiled Vows Crimson Kisses is a gripping story with suspense and intrigue of wanting to know what happens next.
It is a story with right amounts of love and revenge sprinkled with a lot of lovely bonds which flows smoothly without any unnecessary interruptions. The highlight being Anika and Rafail and their chemistry. But the star attraction for me is Nino and the Huskies.

Veiled Vows, Crimson Kisses* is a fast-paced romantic thriller told from the perspectives of both main characters. Anika is driven by a deep need to avenge her parents’ deaths and embarks on a journey to uncover the secrets surrounding them. Along the way, she encounters Rafail, a figure from her past who haunts her dreams. The supporting characters, also connected through family ties and seeking vengeance for their loved ones, find solace in each other. The story is well-written, with clear language and well-developed characters, making it an engaging read. I thoroughly enjoyed binge-reading it during an unplanned break from social media.

I loved the book. It kept me hooked from the very first to the very last one. I loved all the characters. Anika was portrayed beautifully she was cruel where she was needed but a softhearted cutie who loves people around her and can go to extreme to protect them.
Raff was also a beautiful character he loved Anika all along.. I was in tears bcoz he was not believing anyone who said Anika was dead.. he believed his gut feeling
The bond they both formed was very strong that after so many years it just got more intense..
You're in for a great revelations at the end.. tie your seat belts tightly guys!
All in all, thank you mystra for trusting me with the arc of your book<3..

I liked the plot, the flow of the story (it did not just rush), and the fact that’s it’s a blend of romance, revenge, and heartfelt moments.
Overall it’s an entertaining read with thrill, emotion and a bit of spice ;)
The book ended with the hint of a sequel and I’m excited to read what comes next.

This book? OMG....this book? It was like a rollercoaster ride for me!! I felt giddy, emotional, happy, sad, loved and all the things I can't even describe in words. It was a cute kind of read for me even though it was a dark romance book but felt cute too....in so many points I blushed and giggled like a little girl. The way this man, loved her and adored her made me feel a little bit emotional. And the way he worshipped her... omg!! It was all worth it in end. I am in love with both of them and more.
Rafail, the loving, dark and caring man, who was always ready to do anything just to see her smile. The way, he remembered small details about her makes me feel so happy and sad (because I am not going to find someone like him, ahhh)

Their paths crash more when Rafail keep tracing Elena in a pursuit of heart and desire. How long will Anika be able to keep her identity a secret while planning her revenge, when the same man who's pursuing her; her childhood love; her Rafail is now the fiancé of Enemy's daughter?

"Veiled Vows Crimson Kisses" by Mystra is my second book by the author, and my expectations were a little bit high. And this book doesn't disappoint me at all.
The book starts with a tragedy that changes our female protagonist, Anika's life, and her life becomes only one goal: revenge. Revenge for the person who destroys her family. This starting is really interesting, but what I miss here is the intensity of the scenes, but the suspense of why and who they were makes up for that. Anika's fierce character is really admirable, and the author portrays her turmoil and emotions so intricately, she will be your favorite.
Then a long time jump, and we see Anika in action, taking revenge on people who she finds out did wrong to her family. But the person who comes between is her childhood best friend, who promised her to find her and wait for her and help her. And Raf, aka Rafil, tried to keep his promise. I love Raf in the story most; he is the best in the book.
Unfortunately the protagonists don't know things about each other anymore, which makes them enemies, and the journey to become lovers is filled with tension and hot scenes. And I love the building of their relationships.
As for the thrilling plot, who is the real culprit? It is filled with questions of loyalty, betrayals, love, and loss and is full of twists. This kind of books is why I love Dark Romantic thrillers. This is so amazing.
Talking about Anika, our girl, she is sooo sly. she is the perfect balck cat strong FMC. I loved her character so much. She is fierce, strong, smart and compassionate at the same time. the way she accepted Nino and helped him is so touching.
Rafail was THE MAN. He went on to build an entire automobile company to make his childhood promise of gifting a Car to her so she can go anywhere she want, even when he is not sure whether she is there or not. And not to mention his wardrobe is filled with his favourite colour is "notra grey" shirts (just like her eyes). Did I tell you why he have two Huskies (well, she wished for it). He stood by her side and fought with her (not for Her) for her revenge. He supported her, loved her and cherished her like his life depends on it. Also his bond with Nino is adorable.
The friends, cousins, huskies and especially Nino were absolute best addition to the book. I love how the story plot took place, it instantly hooked me to the book. Not at one part I felt it stretched or lag. The chemistry between them was hot, their connection was so heart warming. I Loved each and every scene of them (probably reread a few too). That last fight, those revelations has my jaw dropped to the ground. Now, I am even more intrigued for the upcoming books in the series.

“Veiled Vows Crimson Kisses” by Author Mystra M is a book that I regret not reading soon! Thankful for the stars that made me read this book atleast now. I just couldn't put it aside until I reached the last page. Anika, Rafail, Alex, Zephyr, Xander, Riya, and of course, Nino; everyone just stole my heart with their beautiful persona.
The novels unfolds with Anika aka Elena who's parents are killed and our girl is set to avenge her parents' death. And the tale proceeds with our boy, Rafail, her childhood buddy. And, honestly, the book hooked me from the first chapter itself. The tension between the leads is awesome.
I am still swooning over the setting and pace of the novel, and the plot, it's fantastic. The twist? It twisted me hard that I had to take a few minutes to brainstorm. The author just won my heart with this book. And left me excited about the next one in the series (oh my! Did I spoil it?)
