All good things must end, right? I never saw an end in sight. Sure, my best friend and I developed some hardcore Stockholm Syndrome and fell in love with all three of our kidnappers. We travel to the United Kingdom for a trip that’s a dream come true. But is it? Maybe it’s more of a nightmare because that’s where everything begins to unravel. Hearts get broken. And lives are lost. Is this the end of three deadly obsessions? Or can five people make the impossible work?Deadlier Obsessions is the follow up to Deadly Obsessions and should not be read before you read book one.
This duet is a dark why choose romance and is intended for readers over the age of eighteen. Always check the trigger warnings at the beginning of the book before diving in.
I hate talking about myself. I'm awkward AF and write super spicy books with twisty plots. Most of my books are dark romance so always check the content warnings!
I didn't know I needed this book, I THOUGHT I was ok with just the first. I was wrong. I loooved this book! It's all the same shenanigans as book one, but with character growth, everyone of them overcomes something and the love and affection is just 👌 It's alsp pretty dark so double check the tw's! It's spicy - x5, mfmmf with some ff, so you know its good! Loads of ups and downs, as promised by the book blurb, I was kind of freaking out the whole time reading lol This is the second part to a Duet so you'll need to read the first to know whats going on and how we all got here, haha! Anyway. Def reco if you like dark smutty books with a storyline!
I didn't think I needed more after Deadly Obsessions. But ohhh boy, was I wrong!
Deadlier Obsessions by Chelle Rose & Mia Fury is a dark, depraved and twisted tale of obsession, love & healing.
An emotionally charged read, these five characters face their inner demons, as well as something that makes them stronger, not to mention closer to one another.
Be sure to check the trigger warnings before diving in. This book is not for the faint-hearted. And be sure to read Deadly Obsessions first.
This is the second book in the duet and wow was it mind blowing! I don’t know who I loved more, Gage, Sebastian or Maverick. Oh who am I kidding it’s Maverick! Though Gage is a very close second. I cried a few times while reading this book, it was such an emotional experience. Stella and Lucy are strong and beautiful FMC’s and I want to be them when I grow up! Chelle and Mia, ladies. You blew me away with this book!
Wow, I was pretty sure that nothing could top Deadly Intentions but this book knocked it out of the stratosphere. This isn’t just a dark smutty romance, and trust me it’s very smutty. But it’s also, and more importantly for me, a story of overcoming emotions and finally seeing, with eyes wide open, what’s important in life.
This is a book full of darkness and explicit scenes, but it’s also about so much more. The sense of family and acceptance is deeply embedded with every word. The understanding that having people love you for who you are, warts and all, was so beautifully portrayed.
We get more of a glimpse of these beautifully flawed characters, a glimpse that just cements them firmly into our hearts. Their vulnerabilities, fear and needs come front and centre, and that’s okay, because Chelle Rose and Mia Fury portrayed these in a way we can all relate to. We all have our own vulnerabilities, parts of our pasts that have a direct impact on the way we live our lives, so seeing each character face their own was so heart rendering and touching.
Mav is a beautiful character. Watching his soft side come to the forefront was a beautiful sight to see. I still adore his dominant side and the indisputable bond he has with his family. I loved his growing relationship with Sebastian and Gage and the way they became a solid unit and more open with each other.
I love the way this life has changed Gage. Don’t get me wrong, he’s still full of rage and evilness but it’s tempered. He’s softened towards people, well, people that don’t deserve his anger anyway. He’s soft and caring, open and understanding to those who hold a place in his heart.
Sebastian showed a different, more dominant side to his character in this story, and boy was it hot!!! I loved him embracing his ‘Gage Rage’ side. I loved his silent determination to bridge the distance between himself and Mav in order to make them all a true family. A solid unbreakable team. A family in the truest sense.
I adore how Stella and Lucy faced their demons and with the love and support of their men and each other they became stronger. They are still kickass women in their own right but being loved by these beautiful men have allowed them to blossom and grow. I love their sisterly bond, it’s beautiful to see their love for each other and their willingness to do anything to protect the other.
Each and every character has faced down their pasts and as a cohesive collection moved forward together. Their bond becomes unbreakable. Their love for each other rock solid.
I have never read a MMFMF book with such beautiful depth and heartfelt emotions. An absolutely compelling and addictive read.
Can’t recommend highly enough. This book truly deserves a universe of stars to fully do its perfection justice.
I can’t tell you how glad I was when I found out that the writing duo of Chelle and Mia were going to do a follow up to 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐋𝐘 𝐎𝐁𝐒𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒. I definitely needed more from this quintet. YES THAT’S RIGHT A 𝐅𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐒𝐎𝐌𝐄!
If you have read the first book, you know that the relationship between these five started in the most unconventional way. If you haven’t read it, go read it now!
This book carries on from the last and gives us all an insight into the insecurities that being in this sort of relationship can give but not only that it also gives us more of a look at why these characters are the way they are.
Once again, this writing duo gives us an amazing narrative from different POV’s where there is lots of action, both in and out of the bedroom. There are lots of hilarious moments and also some heartbreaking scenes which really get to you.
The dynamics in this quintet are quite intriguing and in this second book we get so much more, in fact there was a scene that completely surprised me (but it shouldn’t have…the human caterpillar) and this is what I love most about this book. Yes, you get lots of spice but not everything that is given is expected and it’s refreshing to read!
Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better than the first book, Mia and Chelle deliver this! It is perfection and everything you could ever need.
Lucy wants to travel back to the UK, speak to her parents and collect some of her things, the guys are tagging along and Stella is keeping a secret about the trip, what could possibly go wrong??
This book is so much naughtier than book one and that’s saying something, but it also has plenty of emotions. This story really makes you think about family and the people you choose to have a part in your life.
The guys are just as twisted and full of red flags as before, maybe even more so, but I loved seeing them further into their relationship and how they process things. I hadn’t realised how much I missed reading about these five.
Mav is still mine. (Mia will share him with me!) But I fell harder for Gage too in this book and seeing him more in depth and truly what makes him tick. They really are the perfect book boyfriends.
This was a dark and twisted read, plenty of spice, a lot of emotions, I can’t recommend it enough.
I can’t wait to see what Chelle and Mia team up to do next.
This is book two in the Deadly Obsession series, I absolutely loved book one, but book two takes the cake. In many dark romance books, the reader only experiences the happily ever after and that's it. But with this series, we see in book one we end with the five choosing to stay together because of love. Book two however picks up a few years after book one ends. We see reality hit the group. Having five people in a relationship is not always something that can last long term, plus we see some situations that occur throughout the book that put their love and trust to the test. I was blown away seeing that all the men have grown, especially Gage, into loving and caring men, but still possessive. :)
I am so sad to see this series end, but like the description says, all good things must come to an end, while I am devastated, I'm elated to see that all five people have grown and have truly become secure in the relationship and it is evident that their love and obsession for each other is the only motivation they need.
I want to start by saying this is book 2 in a duet, you have to start with Deadly Obsessions first! I absolutely LOVED this book. When I first read Deadly Obsessions I didn’t realize it was going to be a duet but, I am so glad it was. These characters have a piece of my heart. Watching them work through everything the awful vacation throws at them with more maturity (iykyk) then they ever had in book 1 was so refreshing and kept me hooked. This book is SPICY. like 100/10 on the spice level, check the triggers and read your heart out🥵🤭
I loved everything about this book and it is just as dark and wild as the first. In this book we also discover the vulnerability of all the characters and the emotions when it comes to family accepting the dynamics of the relationship between Gage, Sebastian, Maverick, Lucy and Stella. We also get to read about the development of their relationship and processing and accepting what the future holds for them all. Of course, we also get a healthy dose of smutty, steamy moments. Well done to Chelle Rose and Mia Fury on another crazy, dirty journey.
This book was really good. I loved seeing how the 5 characters relationship has changed since the first book yet their personalities remained the same. I really loved seeing more of Lucy and Mav’s history given we got Sebastian and Gage’s in the first. My heart broke for Mav! Also felt the relationship was more cohesive and inclusive in this book, though I know that was the point. It made me root for them even more!
This wasn’t as dark as the first, yet it was still dark! Check those trigger warnings.
90% smut, 10% plot and I am not complaining. While I do think more than half of everything that happened could have been avoided with a little adult conversation, the overall story was still 🔥. I wasn't a fan of the torture/murder scene of Andy, but was grateful it didn't last too long. There was even more MF/MMF/MFM/MM this time around. One FF scene that was actually a bit of a let down considering how much detail all the other scenes went into. Very glad the babies weren't born until pretty much the end, though all the breeding talk was 🥵

This book was fantastic, we are back with these amazing dark characters. Chelle and Mia are absolutely fabulous when they collaborate. This book has so much character growth. Each character overcomes something they become stronger and closer as a family. This book is dark, super steamy and amazing. I couldn’t put it down. I hope these amazing authors continue to work together.
Deadlier Obsessions was so good!! What you get..... ♡Dark Romance ♡MFMMF ♡Found Family ♡Group $*× ♡MM ♡FF ♡Anxiety Rep ♡Mental Health Rep ♡Brats ♡Breeding ♡Revenge ♡Spicy 🔥 🥵 🔥 🥵 🔥 🥵 ♡Trauma ♡Family Drama
It's an emotional rollercoaster ride with Gage, Sebastian, Stella, Mav, and Lucy growing so much throughout this book. They all overcome something that makes them stronger and closer to each other. Lots of spicy scenes!🔥🥵🔥🥵🔥🥵
Chelle and Mia do a great job at sucking you into their stories and making you love their characters!!
Wow, Chelle & Mia are just amazing when they write collabs! Deadlier Obsession is book 2 of a duet and it is a dark, wild, sexy, crazy ride. Each of these amazing characters grew so much throughout this book, it was a major roller coaster ride that's for sure. If you are looking for something different, give this Duet a try! But make sure to check those trigger warnings first.
I absolutely loved this book. The guys are still their unhinged, possessive, and obsessive selves with their 2 girls. They go through their struggles and self-doubt but come out stronger together after working through it all.
"I've got you, baby. We've got you. Whatever your parents say, we will be there with you. I don't know what they will think of those two assholes, but your parents will love me."
This book was amazing.. It starts off shortly after Deadly Obsessions, and once again you are hooked from the first page. This book is smutty, but also a reminder what is really important in life. Family isnt always blood, its the people you choose to have in your life..
The emotional journey these characters go through, is heart breaking, it was written in such a way that i was able to feel every emotion with them. I could not get enough.
It’s never a dull moment with these crazy 5! Lucy and Stella have their hands full with these 3 men and not only that they have to deal with family and another kidnapper!
This book is dark! If you’ve read Deadly Obsessions then you know what I mean when I say dark, but please for the love check the triggers. I loved that going into this book, we are going into their established relationship. The fab five definitely go through some growing pains throughout this story and they make for a weird and awesome family. I absolutely adored Gage in this one…. the growth.
*BOOK REVIEW* BOOK: Deadlier Obsessions AUTHORS: Chelle Rose Author Mia Fury REVIEW: I'm going to start off by saying, that I lost a couple nights' worth of sleep finishing this book because it was extremely hard to put down, so thank you Chelle and Mia for costing me my sleeping privileges for a couple days! 🤣 This book is the ending of Mav, Sebastian, Gage, Stella, and Lucy's story. It had a very satisfying end. Now, this book takes place about a year and a half (maybe) after Deadly Obsessions ends. The five of them are still getting used to being a fully functional family, but there's still tensions. Gage, Mav, Sebastian, Stella, and Lucy are traveling to London to see Lucy's overbearing and unsupportive family and this is causing some anxiety and tension between the group. Stella's panicking because she's petrified of flying, Lucy's panicking because she doesn't know how her family is going to react to her new life, and the men are arguing amongst themselves. When they get to London, things take a turn. They have to fight to stay together as a family and soon they come up with an option that fits them! This book was so damn good! Honestly, I was pus a puddle when I finished it because I didn't want to say goodbye. I messaged Chelle at one point asking if I should be afraid of what comes next or not. Seeing Gage, Mav, Sebastian, Stella, and Lucy grow closer and learn to share was great to see, and the spice left me blushing (which is a hard feat to accomplish)! I've ready a lot of Chelle and Mia's works and they never disappoint, and this book is no exception. This is absolutely in my top 5 favorite reads of 2024! I can't wait to see what Mia and Chelle come up with next! RATING: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟/🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
All good things must end, right? Lucy wants to go home to see her family, and pack up her things that are important to her. So the five of them fly to England. But Lucy hasn’t really been entirely honest about just how terrible her parents are to her. Stella’s fear of flying has all three men trying to keep her occupied so that she is focused on anything but being on a plane, leaving Lucy all alone to her thoughts. So the cracks that already existed in the foundation begin to crack wider.
I know just how dark, deviant and twisted this duet is. It isn’t for everyone. But I was so absolutely floored by the way Chelle and Mia explored the depths of trauma is worked out in an individuals darkness. Finding outlets, balance, acceptance, was how the five of them finally found their peace and their home.
Please, don’t get me wrong, you definitely want to read the content warnings prior to reading this book. If you haven’t read Deadly Obsession, you need to or you just won’t be able to fully appreciate Deadlier Obsessions. The lengths these three men will go to protect AND show their love to Stella and Lucy, even their dysfunctional brand of it, is breathtaking.
Chelle and Mia bring us back into their world and let us watch as the five of them navigate what really makes a family. How to heal when the bonds of blood betray you and try to destroy your soul. And really, where is home? I’m not giving anything away when I say, I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I felt that the characters showed much more emotional and mental growth, as well as their relationships grew stronger. I adored how Lucy and Stella came into their own, and how they managed to get a little of their power back. But the best part, is the happy ever after karma comes home ending. I died laughing. I cannot wait to see what these two come up with next!
I’m so in love with the way these two authors have come together with these books.
While it’s undeniably a dark, smutty romance, it’s also a profound story of overcoming emotions and discovering what truly matters in life.
Despite its explicit content, the book delves into themes of family and acceptance, beautifully portraying the idea of being loved for who you are. The characters' vulnerabilities and fears are relatable, thanks to the masterful writing of Chelle Rose and Mia Fury.
Mav’s softer side emerges in a touching way, balancing his dominant nature and strong family bonds. His growing relationships with Sebastian and Gage form a solid, open unit. Gage, still filled with rage, shows a softer, more caring side to those he loves. Sebastian’s dominant side shines, enhancing his bond with Mav and creating a true family.
Stella and Lucy grow stronger with the support of their men and each other, maintaining their independence while blossoming from the love they receive. Their sisterly bond is heartwarming and protective.
The characters face their pasts and move forward together, forming an unbreakable bond.
First, I am a fan of Chelle Rose and when she said this was darker…she was right. It is darker. So please read the triggers. I had never read anything by Mia Fury before the first book. I am now looking to read more books by this author.
Secondly, I love the characters of the book. This is the second book of the series. This book starts a couple of years after where the first book ends. The relationships between I adored the first book. characters continue to be tested because it is five people in this group and a relationship with two people is tough so can you imagine being a relationship with five people. Like the first book, the spice is🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Throughout the book you see how each character has grown, and they learn to trust one another. Gage, Sebastian, Maverick, Lucy, and Stella emotions keep you engaged in this story. I am so sorry to see the series end.
This is book 2 of the duet and is a dark why choose romance with detailed spice. Please check the TW. This follows all the same characters from book one. This book shows the characters development and what healing from trauma looks like when you have the right people by your side. Gage psycho self is still my favorite. It does end on an HEA. The scenes in this book give picture to what love and a family destined to be together can do and how they move forward and learn from past mistakes. As well as learning self-love and not letting the opinions of other dictate your life and happiness I loved this book.
Oh my Heart!!!! How is this the end of what started out creepy and f***ed up and turned into a weird to most but beautiful loving terrific ending. I'm sad that it's the end of the story for Lucy, Stella, Sebastian, Gage and Mav but at least after all the ups and downs, ins and outs, good and bad stories/memories, everyone at the end got a little of what they all wanted and many years to come for them to conquer and achieve more goals and wants. Great story and writing Mia and Chelle, you ladies did it again together this time as a team writing an AMAZING FABULOUS 5 STAR DARK WHY CHOSE ROMANCE!!!
This book was everything I needed to get out of a book slump! It is just as dark and wild as the first. In the book we discover the vulnerability of all the characters and the emotions when it comes to family accepting the dynamics of the relationship between Gage, Sebastian, Maverick, Lucy and Stella. We also get to read about the development of their relationship and processing and accepting what the future holds for them all. We also get the right amount of smutty, steamy moments and so much more!!
...And the Best smut!! I mean who doesn't love a good smutty book!
Make sure you check trigger warnings and make sure you read the first book! You're gonna want the ENTIRE story of these characters. They were written so well you can can just feel the energies coming off these people.
I loved the perspective of picking up so far later down the line. It was a refreshing story line I haven't seen at all and it grabbed my attention right away!
🥰🥰🥰 This book is an amazing ending for the characters. Mav is by far my favourite but Gage and pretty boy are a close close second. The spice is fantastic and I wouldn't expect less from these 2 fantastic author's. The plot line had me crying both sad angry and happy. This book shows that family might be blood but we can also choose our own family who help us become the best version of ourselves. Definitely do yourself a favour and read this book.
What an amazing book 2 . It had all the twists and turns and spice to keep you hooked and oh it so dark and lovely. I definitely say you have to read book one because if not you will be lost on what has gotten the girls to this point. I highly recommend reading the content warnings as this book touches on some dark things that while I love not everyone may like. I absolutely loved it and can not wait to see what the author has up next.
