Bifröst is the third book in The Latitude series a spin-off of the Antipodes series which I enjoyed. What a journey it has been in this Sci Fi/Dystopian romance tale with supernatural elements. You don’t have to, but I urge you to read the other books in the series before this one to give you a better understanding and feel for where our characters have come from.
Caitlin is only wants what is best for everyone but doing so is a detriment to herself. The balance she has tried to cultivate is now threatening to come undone if secrets are exposed. Can she keep it together when everything is laid bare? Will they still accept her?
Tanya keeps her readers intrigued with her storylines through emotions connected to the fate of her characters and the strange new world they are in so always expect the unexpected.

This is the third book in the exciting ‘Latitude Series’ set within a dystopian world, and once again I was hooked! I would recommend reading the books in order as the storyline is continuous throughout the series. Caitlin feels like an old friend now, having followed her journey from the very start, and so I feel invested in her story. Caitlin remains determined to improve the lives of all the communities as she nurtures the link between the onshore domes and the underwater ones, which connect everyone in the new world. Once again the descriptive narrative brings this new, dystopian world vividly to life which made me feel fully immersed in the story.

Caitlin is now the Chief of the ACC but finds herself torn between her dedication to her position and her love for her family. She is committed to leaving a legacy for future generations and when an adversary threatens this she has to ensure the safety of all the communities. Having called upon those loyal to her to help, she is surrounded by acts of treachery and vengeance. Sadly her people are harmed and allegiances of those she cares for are tested as Caitlin battles to save those she loves before it’s too late.

This was a fast paced and action packed page turner which kept me gripped throughout. The intriguing storyline, wonderful characters, vivid setting and plot twists kept me reading late into the night, unable to stop reading!

Bifrost is Book 3 in The Latitude Series and also branching out from the Antipodes series as well, which I enjoyed all the book so far. I recommend reading this series from the beginning to get to know the characters as your reading journey into a world of Sci Fi and dystopian (which I love) elements with suspense, danger and a sense of community and family....as the author really brings this story to life.

All about balance in this world, Caitlin only wants the best for her family and community. When a threat comes with the possibility of secrets that may come to light...what can happen when Caitlin wants to see something better for the people that she loves so dear and the good citizens she wants to have connections with....

This is a great read..highly recommended!

T.S. Simons’ Bifrost is a thought-provoking and immersive exploration of leadership, legacy, and loyalty in a futuristic world where humanity’s survival depends on fragile connections. As a continuation of the author’s richly imagined universe, Bifrost offers readers a gripping blend of political intrigue, environmental themes, and personal sacrifice.

At the heart of the story is Caitlin, a strong and multifaceted protagonist whose dual roles as Chief of the ACC and a devoted mother create a compelling internal conflict. Her determination to bridge the gap between onshore and underwater domes highlights her commitment to fostering unity in a divided world. Yet, as Caitlin grapples with the demands of leadership and the weight of her secrets, she remains relatable and deeply human, making her struggles resonate with readers.

Simons expertly builds tension through the adversaries and challenges Caitlin faces. The looming threat of her secrets being exposed adds an edge of suspense, while acts of treachery and vengeance keep the stakes high. The story’s twists and betrayals are deftly handled, testing not only Caitlin’s resolve but also the loyalties of those closest to her. These moments are layered with emotional depth, making the relationships in the novel as compelling as its broader themes.

The world-building in Bifrost is another standout feature. Simons paints a vivid picture of a future shaped by environmental necessity, where domed communities represent both humanity’s resilience and its precarious dependence on technology. The underwater domes, in particular, are described with stunning detail, blending the awe of innovation with a sense of underlying fragility. This setting amplifies the novel’s exploration of environmental responsibility and the legacy we leave for future generations.

The narrative strikes a balance between introspective moments and action-driven sequences. Caitlin’s inner reflections on her role in shaping the future are poignant, while the external conflicts she faces—both political and personal—keep the pace brisk and engaging. Themes of sacrifice, unity, and the consequences of our choices are woven seamlessly into the story, encouraging readers to consider their own impact on the world.

With Bifrost, T.S. Simons has delivered a powerful, character-driven tale that is as thought-provoking as it is thrilling. Fans of speculative fiction and dystopian worlds will find much to admire, but the novel’s emotional depth and focus on legacy make it a story with universal appeal. It’s a compelling reminder that the choices we make today shape the future we leave behind.

This is the 3rd book in The Latitude Series. I do highly recommend reading these books in order as they do follow on from each other and I feel you will lose a lot of the story and get confused about the characters and the storyline without reading the books previously.
I have read all the books and it has fast become a series that I cannot get enough of which surprised me as this is normally a genre I enjoy so that just goes to show how good the authors work is.

We are back with Caitlin and Gio. As the new world gradually grows and expands Caitlin sees it her mission the make life better for everyone of the citizens whether they are part of the domes onshore or underwater. Her goal is to connect everyone. However there is an issue hindering her progress and that the fact she is pregnant with twins.
Caitlin starts to think about her legacy and wants to make sure she leaves something great for the generations that will follow but juggling duties as a Chief and a mother is harder than even she anticipates.

Add to this the threat of harm against her and her people which means she has to turn to the people around her that she trusts to help protect them all. With the acts of treachery against her and those allies around her will their allowances be able to survive under this extra pressure?

Can Caitlin be the mother she wants to be and still protect everyone she loves and cares about or will she be forced to make a choice?

These books are so gripping to read and the authors writing style really brings to life the world and existence of living as separate communities in pods save from the dangers that are lose in the outside world. You can actually imagine and picture yourself living there.

I was excited to read Bifröst as I’ve been enjoying the Latitudes series and the Antipodes series. I would definitely recommend reading this in the context of the other books, beginning with Project Hemisphere, so you get to know the wonderful cast of characters and see the world they live in as it develops. The series are set in a dystopian world, following the initial survivors as they build a new world in Antipodes, and their descendants who have grown up in this new world in Latitudes.

In these series, I particularly enjoy the opportunity to travel around the world along with the characters! Bifröst is mainly set between Canada and Scotland, with visits to other places including Japan. While there have been many changes in this new world, the unique cultures and traditions of each place are incorporated as well as aspects of the landscape.

There’s a lot going on in this book, as Caitlin balances professional challenges with the impending arrival of her children, all the while with reminders of past trauma never far away. She has a great support network of family and good friends who will help her to cope, if only she lets them!

I found the book a bit slow to get going, but once it did I struggled to put it down! I definitely stayed up later than I had planned when I hit a particularly dramatic section just when I was planning to go to sleep…

This book gets five stars from me! I enjoyed it a lot, and am thinking I should find time to go back and reread the rest of the series soon. I’m looking forward to reading the next book, Triple Helix, to find out what Seraphine gets up to after the events of Bifröst.

Caitlin is about due with her and Gio's twins. Her family is there to help make the transition one that benefits everyone and the community. Before her day arrives, an enemy releases a disturbing video that is broadcasted to all the leaders. Her personal tragedy being released shows the lengths that she will go for even the unborn. The use was supposed to call into question her ability to be Chief, yet, through it all she finds that more than anything it brings out the loyalty of the people. As she welcomes their babies, and adjusts to her role, more strife occurs and issues that need to be resolved are brought to the forefront. Will she be able to use her growth as a mother to realize it isn't a weakness to lean on others to help her?

At this point, I am incredibly invested in this world. I love reading about the characters from the first series and seeing how their kids are growing into their roles as leaders. Caitlin is a very strong character that suffers from being human and has moments of weakness and is completely overwhelmed at times. This is true for any good leader. I love that Gio is her perfect partner in how he supports her and yet, he also challenges her. He is just as strong as she is and together, they are a formidable team working for the good of their cumulative communities.

While this book wrapped up Caitlin's story, it has brought her twin to the forefront for the next adventure in the series -I mean, book(s)! And I am here for it!

Caitlin is working hard at both looking after her family and being Chief of the AAC, but she is realising that it is also slowly tearing her apart, she is exhausted, both physically and mentally and is losing touch with those around her. However, one thing keeps her going and is that is linking the land based and underwater colonies, a task which calls on all of her skills, including the engineering side she has had to put on the back burner, so when a chance to make use of this, she dives in headfirst and brings in some of her old colleagues to help.

Unfortunately for Caitlin, word gets out about what she is trying to achieve and an adversary she thought had backed off comes back to haunt her and her family. So as she continues to work herself into the ground, she tries to hold everything else together at the same time, but events beyond her control threaten everything she is working towards as well as the people around her whom she loves with all her heart.

Will Caitlin be able to keep her secret and save those around her from the enemies who attack the bonds between the communities and those relationships she clings to for support? This is another part of this dystopian series where secrets abound and carefully crafted webs are torn asunder as enemies appear and allies disappear in a world where only a few can survive and improve the lives of others all at the same time.

If you haven't read this series or the Antipodes series then you are missing out!! This was one of the first series that I have read that is a Post-Apocalyptic Dystopian Science series, but I am so glad that I picked them up! They are all so, so good! The author did so great setting up these worlds and immersing you in them. In this book (book 3 to The Latitude Series) Caitlin is trying to connect the underwater domes with the onshore domes better. Future generations will need the communities working together to slowly rebuild the world. But what happens when the age old dilemma of work and family life clashing tears Caitlin's dedication? With treachery, vengeance, and secrets threatening the safety of all the communities Caitlin must rely on others to help save those she loves. Will it be to late?? Allegiances are stretched and put to the test as they try to keep the new world safe. But will it even be enough?? Read this whole series and the spin-off! They are both so great. You will find yourself really thinking about the world ending and how people will have to try different things to survive. You can tell that this author did the research and put in many hours of thought over this. The love and work really shows and it's wonderful!!

This world is nothing short of addictive as we watch it continue to grow and change. This story follows Caitlin and her navigating being chief of the ACC, and her new role...a parent of twins... all while connecting land and underwater communities.
She is near due with her and Gios twins and her prior secrets and tragedy is laid bare by someone looking to call her leadership into question with video footage showing just how far she is willing to go even for the unborn. Instead of it calling into question her role as Chief it instead seems to inspire people to rally around her as she delivers her twins into the world showing how relatable, human and dedicated she really is.
I truly enjoyed this story on a personal level, I felt connected to Caitlin with her story of loss, if being used against her and redemption of a tragedy she kept close to the heart. Her community rallied around her and she navigates the role of being a parent which requires her to lean on others which isn't a comfortable role for many new mommas! Gio her steadfast partner only helps make Caitlin stronger and is incredibly important to the person she's become. This was a perfect closure to understanding Caitlin story and purpose in this series.

Comforting Closure

The Latitude Series has become a favorite for me. It is comforting and exciting all at the same time. Traveling through this dystopian world that has been ravaged by a pandemic but pieced together by the survivors has been a wonderful experience for me. I should have started with the Antipodes Series, but I am excited to go back and read the stories of these characters I have come to love. I can only compare the story in Bifrost to a warm blanket being wrapped around you after braving the cold for a lengthy period. After the chaos, turmoil, and pain that Caitlin has endured throughout the first two books in this series, this book brought the closure that her, and her little family desperately deserved. I am very sad the next book has not been released yet as I am wholeheartedly invested in this series and very intrigued as to where T.S. Simons will take this story next. I would encourage everyone to read this series. It is full of possibilities, bravery, humor, action, courage, and of course love, life, and even death. There is something for every reader within this series!

This has been one of my favorite series and it is always great to see a continuation in the next series bundle such as this one! I will recommend reading previous books and series before this one to give the best insight on the background and its characters from the very start. Book 3 focuses on Caitlin and the work she is doing in the emergence connections of the onshore domes and the underwater domes. Devastated from the loss of her daughter, Stella, she focuses on the work at hand and ends up being pregnant with twins now. She now faces the struggles of family obligations and work responsibilities. These characters are so relatable in their everyday struggles and emotions. Simons really has a way to grasp the audience with lots of twists and turns that keep you fully engaged with the storyline. Through survival and obstacles, these characters have kept their world alive and thriving in different ways that are unexpected. Turning tragedy and the unknown to new beginnings and active perseverance.

This book is by an author that I have enjoyed reading from the first book I picked up by them. I enjoy this author’s writing style and their ability to pull me into their story. This book is part of “The Latitude” series. I highly suggest reading the other books in this series to help your enjoyment of this author and characters. This book is about connecting to communities, loyalty, secrets and saving those you love. Caitlin is Chief of the ACC but what will happen when people she cares about are put to the test? Can she save those that she loves before it is too late? Caitlin is a great character. She is connectable, relatable and I enjoy what she brings to the story. She made the story easy and entertaining to read. This is a fast paced, engaging and hard to put down story. This is a story that you don’t want to miss. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to seeing what is next for this author. I highly recommend this book.

Bifrost is the 3rd book in The Latitude series by T.S. Simons. In this story we follow Caitlin as she navigates her position as Chief of the ACC and parenthood. This was such a great read. As a mother I could relate to Caitlin so much more. The pain of losing a child, the fear of not doing a good enough job, the feeling of pride watching them grow and knowing that you’d do any and everything in this world to keep them safe and happy. I absolutely loved how much Caitlin’s extended family helped look after her girls. It truly takes a village and Catie has a great one. I thought the story was medium paced. Fast enough to keep you reading for more but not to fast that you missed stuff. This story puts you through a lot of emotions. I felt joy, fear, sadness, anxiety, and excitement while reading. I fell more in love with some characters while grieving for and the other others. I highly recommend this series.

This is the third installment of The Latitude series, and it may be my favorite so far. I highly recommend reading the books in order to get the full experience! Since this is a spinoff of The Antipodes series, which I absolutely loved, I recommend picking those books up as well. We get to follow Caitlin in this book, and she may be the most relatable character I’ve come across in both series. She is thoughtfully developed and feels more like a friend than a character on the pages. This is a powerful journey that will pull at your heartstrings for dozens of reasons. The author skillfully weaves together high-stakes political intrigue and deeply human struggles. The story flows well finding a nice medium and consistent pace throughout. The world building is outstanding! This is a must read for fans of gripping speculative fiction and powerful, character-driven narratives. I can’t wait to see what’s next!

"Bifrost" is the third book in the Latitudes series and continues the story from the previous installment. It’s highly recommended to read the entire series in order, as the narrative builds on events from earlier books, significantly impacting the outcome of this one.

In this book, Cait has taken on the role of joint Chief of the ACC but finds herself struggling with various challenges following the birth of her twin girls. After spending several months in Lewis to recover, Cait and Gio decide to return to Canada to complete the projects she had started.

A devastating act of revenge from a former enemy forces Cait to grapple with moral and ethical dilemmas as she tries to protect herself and her family while doing what is best for the Collective.

Once again, this dystopian romance is filled with action and emotion, prompting readers to reflect on what they would do in similar circumstances.

Caitlin & Gio’s story continues in this third book of the Latitude Series. It did not disappoint. Like any working mother Caitlin struggles with her career, her love if engineering, her husband and her twin girls. With the help of her family, she juggles it all with great success. Caitlin struggles to balance her personal relationships and her leadership responsibilities. Danger from other communities puts the lives of her children at risk and the emotional weight of it all does take its toll. Gio & the girls are her home. This book really drives home the real meaning of family. The emotional ride is real. The next book in the series seems to lead to her sister, the ambassador and the sad state of her marriage and loneliness. Great characters and a wonderfully weaved story. I can’t wait to continue reading the next book in the series…..

Bifrost is the third book in The Latitude Series. While this book,I believe, can be read by itself, it is much easier to connect the dots and connect with the characters if you read, at the very least, the first two books in the series. T. S. Simons is such an amazing author, weaving intricate, detailed stories with great world-building and wonderful characters. The details in these dystopian stories are so well-written that I could see the underwater pods, see the more open spaces on land, feel all of the emotions flowing through the pages. The characters are realistically flawed, lovable, and I couldn't help but feel connected to Caitlin and Gio. There is so much happening in Bifrost, from threatening situations to navigating new motherhood and work, from old flames to new beginnings. This is definitely a must read: must read author, series, and book!

Bifröst (The Latitude Series) by T. S. Simons. This is the 3rd book in the Latitude Series. It can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend reading them in order to better understand the story and characters. It's the story of Caitlyn who is Chief of the ACC and soon to be mom of twins. She is trying to bring together the land and the underwater communities to fight as one. She is also having her leadership called into question but that only does the opposite and cause the people to back her more. The people feel like Caitlyn is more relatable than any leader they have ever had before so they love her. Will Caitlyn be able to continue to lead her people and keep things in their best interest along with her family's best interest. This is a fast paced Post Apocalyptic Dystopian series that will keep you flipping pages late in the night.

Bifröst is book 3 of The Latitude Series by T. S. Simons. Unfortunately for me, I've not read the previous books in the series, and I feel like I've missed out on a lot of enjoyable content as well as the relationship development and world building. That being said, I still highly enjoyed reading this. It's a dystopian/post-apocalyptic type book, and I am HERE. FOR. IT! I love this genre so much and Bifröst did not disappoint. In this book Caitlin and Gio are awaiting the birth of their twins. Caitlin finds juggling all of her responsibilities and being a new mother to be difficult. The characters are amazing. As a mother, I felt like I could completely relate to Caitlin and empathize with her position. After reading this book, I'm interested in reading the previous books in the series but I'm also wanting to check out more content from this author in general.

Bifrost is the third book in the Latitude Series. I highly recommend reading them in order as they are more impactful. I find this book and series to be realistic with the relationships and problems that the characters go through. Bifrost is a book of healing especially after what happened to Cait in the last book with the devastating loss of her daughter, Stella. Cait is now pregnant with twins and is nearing the end of her pregnancy. She grows as a leader and mother trying the balance both of her responsibilities. While she is still in danger from other communities. As always finding out why the book is named Bifrost puts even greater meaning to this story. By the end of this you thinking about the legacy you want to leave behind in this world. I didn't want this book to end! I look forward to the next book Triple Helix with the sneak peek being in the Sera's perspective.

I want to start this off at saying I started reading the 3rd book in a series without reading the first two.
The author definitely took time to make it so you didn’t necessarily have to read the first books. After chapter 6 I couldn’t stop reading. I feel like it was a bit slow pace but I love that actually so it was a good thing for me. After chapter 6 I was immersed in a series I never read! Around chapter 20 I started to get upset at the lack of the understanding of the universe. Literally right after this everything was much more dystopian and I really liked it. Overall it was a good read but I don’t think this works as a standalone unless you don’t mind heavily tabbing and keeping track of characters that you don’t really care about in the beginning as there are a lot.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Bifröst is the third book in The Latitude series by T.S. Simons. As mentioned before, this story/series is an extension/spin-off of the Antipodes series, which means it is quite an intriguing read.
As with the rest of the series, this is a dystopian, post-apocalyptic, sci-fi story with action, adventure, romance, challenges, danger, suspense, surprising developments, mystery, emotion, family, friendship, community, duty, responsibility, survival, secrets, high stakes, tension, treachery, vividly descriptive details, dramatic developments, and more.
Again, Ms. Simons has upped the ante and delivered another fantastic read.
Looking forward to Book #4- Triple Helix!
Happy Reading!

Thank you, T.S. Simons!

Bifröst (The Latitude Series Book 3) By T.S. Simons

Bifröst is the third book in The Latitude Series . I highly recommend reading this series in order as each book is just as good as the last. This may be my favorite yet . The characters are relatable and fully developed and creative yet make the story come to life. Get ready to follow along with Caitlin the Chief of the ACC and has she manages parenthood at the same time and all the struggles that come with both. My emotions were all over the place with this story and at one point I had tears running down my face. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. Can Caitlin save her loved ones before it’s to late? I’m looking forward to reading more from this Author.

Bifrost (The Latitude Series) by T.S. Simons is a great dystopian romance

Caitlin is committed to enhancing the quality of life for everyone in every community by fostering the connection between the undersea and onshore domes, which unites everyone in this new world. Caitlin, who is dedicated to leaving a legacy for future generations, is caught between her role as Chief of the ACC and her commitment to her family. However, Caitlin must rally her supporters to protect all communities both now and in the future when an enemy threatens to divulge her secrets.

Every page was exciting and I couldn’t wait to see what would happen. The story really brings passion into your life. I couldn’t put the book down. I can't wait to continue the series

This is the final book in the Latitude series and I highly recommend you read the first two books so you can get a better understanding of the characters and the world that T.S. Simons created. I was hooked from the very beginning and I couldn't put it down. It was fast paced and well written with action, vivid settings and wonderful characters. Now as Chief of the ACC, Caitlin wants to connect and improve life for both the dome communities on land and the underwater communities. When someone threatens to expose her secrets she worries the communities won't accept her and her family. I really enjoyed reading Caitlin and Gio's story and how they helped and challenged each other. This really was a great series. I'm sad it's over but look forward to reading more from this author.

This book is thr 3rd in the series and is another brilliant addition. I would highly recommend reading these in order so you can fully appreciate the overall story. This book is as well written and captivating as the others in the series. I love how each book expands on this world and we learn even more about it, and the characters.

I love the characters. Caitlin had such a strength about her that I find myself drawn to. I love watching her navigate everything thrown at her, with Gio standing by her side. With each book I become more invested in the series and I already cannot wait for the next book.

An amazing story that continues Caitlin’s journey as she tries to put together a legacy for the world after the pandemic. There’s a lot of everything that she still has to deal with, all while being very, very pregnant. New faces arrive with many familiar faces. It’s great to see her begin to work on the trauma issues. She has so much support and family to help her as she tries to find the family-work balance. Wonderful story with a great flow. Terrific chaaracters. I can’t wait for next book.
