Long ago, she had to walk away from a secret love. Just as she’s determined to renew those bonds a new threat may drive them apart forever…
Josephine Marie Houghton is more bluestocking than bell-of-the-ball. But her parents have social climbing plans that include marrying her off for a title. She thinks her problems might be solved when she stumbles upon two handsome gentlemen in the woods around her home.
Linc and Arthur are new friends retiring to the country to give the latter a respite from the bad influences of London society. And finding a forest sprite who stirs their darkest desires—only to lose her as suddenly as they find her? Not part of their plan, but at least they have each other when it all falls apart.
Five Years later, she walks back into their lives. But no sooner than they rekindle their connection, a new threat emerges that may threaten to unravel everything they’ve waited so long for. Will they lose their forest sprite once again? Or can love prevail?
Sorcha Mowbray is a mild mannered office worker by day…okay, so she is actually a mouthy, opinionated, take charge kind of gal who bosses everyone around; but she definitely works in an office. At night she writes romance so hot she sets the sheets on fire! Just ask her slightly singed husband.
She is a long time lover of historical romance, having grown up reading Johanna Lindsey and Judith McNaught. Then she discovered Thea Devine and Susan Johnson. Holy cow! Heroes and heroines could do THAT? From there, things devolved into trying her hand at writing a little smexy. Needless to say, she liked it and she hopes you do too!
The only thing I loved about this book was the insanely hot cover. Loved book 1 in the series, the others, not so much.
I was really looking forward to Linc’s story, especially the exploration of the physical relationship between him and Arthur, but I just couldn’t engage with this book, which left me disappointed. I liked all three characters (ah, Jo was living the dream sandwiched between these two hot men 😉) but alas, I felt no feels.
“Fuck, you are a dirty, erotic bastard,” Arthur said. “If you keep saying things like that we may never leave this hut.” Jo giggled, delighted at the thought of staying there forever to fuck, chat, and read books. It sounded like the perfect existence.
I saw Sorcha Mowbray on one of my FB group takeovers and noticed this book was already out. I had it coming out in October. What a nice surprise. This is only my 6th book by her. I have really liked her writing and her stories. She is Victorian and I am more Regency (Victorian sometimes tends to read too modern for me) but since she is early Victorian it doesn't read as modern. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of ménage à trois'. I mean, I don't mind reading a ménage à trois' trope on occasion but they just aren't my favorite. I liked the knight in shining armor, not the knight(s) in shining armor. :)
I enjoyed reading Josephine, Linc and Arthur's story. Don't think I'm giving anything away since I always read books with a HEA so this would be no different. The story and characters had great depth and they all obviously loved each other. So glad they were able to be themselves. I can't believe I'm going to say this but they had so much sex it was almost a bit too much. That last couple times at the end I ended up just skipping it. I know, crazy :) But overall a good read.
Hooray for Sorcha Mowbray! I fell in love with her Lustful Lords in her first installment and never looked back. I could hardly wait for Linc’s HEA. Linc just appeared to be a lost soul and I believe I was right. There was just something about Linc that pulled at my heartstrings. Linc found his kindred spirits with Arthur and Jo. All three had quite the journey. Linc had a strong sexual pull towards Arthur which he discovered during their escapades at The Market. Then along came Jo who became their Wood Sprite and both Arthur and Linc fell in love with her and she with them. But when you have a father who is title hungry things do not always go well for the girl. It would take several years for Linc and Arthur to find their Wood Sprite again so that they may be together. Their journey is not simple when you have family working against you, but in the end, they are able to come together with the help of the Lustful Lords and their wives. I will miss the Lustful Lords and certainly can hope that they may sow up now and then in future novels. If not I can always read the Series again. For those “cringy” of explicit sex scene this book is not for you. I hope everyone will love the last installment of the Lustful Lords.

DNF at 70% throuple themselves were cute (and wow sizzling 🥵) so I did give it 2 stars. But the plot was so cookie cutter boring and slow. I lost interest. I tried. I have enjoyed the other books I have picked up in this series though. They are all super filthy but with good character depths and decent plots. Bummed this one didn’t click for me.
This throuple burns up the pages in Sorcha Mowbray’s latest release. This was possibly the spiciest book I’ve ever read, with 12 explicit open-door scenes (yes, the swords do cross). I found all three main characters to be likeable, and I was rooting for their HEA throughout the book. This is definitely not your momma’s histrom!
I received an ARC from the author. This is my honest review.
Woooooo, chile….I don't know if I should reach for a fire extinguisher🧯, a fire hose or sit on the whole damn hydrant. Wow....just wow. To say I enjoyed Their Brazen Countess would be a gross understatement, cause Baybeee, look here, I freaking LOVED IT. Steam? What steam? There is no steam…this book is all Fiyah…had a sista straight shook!!! After a while, I stopped counting “steamy scenes” ‘cause ya know 😉😘. With the amount of heat this read is putting out, you'd think the scenes would be repetitive, but they are not!!! There is something different in almost each of her sexy time scenes. And just for good measure, there is also one helluva ménage a trois love story too. Every single moment spent reading this five alarm fire is worth it. The things they do to each other…are not for the faint of heart…let me tell ya!!!
Josephine Marshall, a lively widow stuck under her parents' roof, is unwillingly pulled into a marriage plot meant to elevate her family's social standing. But Jo’s not one to play by the rules. In a bid to clear her mind, she ventures into the woods and stumbles upon two irresistible men, Link and Arthur. What starts as a thrilling chance encounter quickly turns into a sizzling friendship that lets them explore their deepest desires. Fate separates them, but five years later, Jo is back, reigniting the flames of their passion. Just as their bond rekindles, a new threat looms, poised to tear them apart for good..
This book is good y'all. Sexy. Steamy. All that and more. If you like your romance more than a little naughty, grab Their Brazen Countess. Make sure you have your friend handy…it battery operated or human. Lustful Lords indeed.
Title: Their Brazen Countess Arthur: Sorcha Mowbray My fellow readers. Holy smokes! What did I just read. I must confess that I had to take periodic brakes to cool down from the smoldering sexual encounters with the main characters. Readers the writer did not hold back at all with the sensual fun that is happening with the Lustful Lords. There are things described in here that had me scratching my head as I imagined all the different ways Linc and Arthur played with Jo. If you can call it playing. But hey I don’t care what you call it. I was pleasantly entertained. This love romance has all the juicy desires that a woman would love to enjoy. Imagine have two tall. Strapping. Gorgeous. Lustful. Well endowed men willing to make you scream for mercy more than just two times. Jo - you are one hell of a lucky woman. In the mist of the triangle of fun fest Jo has become the object of a number of men’s eye. And not in the way that you are thinking. Something is afoot and it takes Jo and her two handsome men to figure it out. This is where the story really picks up. The plot twist was exciting. I love a good suspense story and this book had me glued to each detail. Threats towards family members and life threatening attacks on young children. These things had me demanding revenge on the sick culprits that lurks in the shadows of each Nobles home. Readers this book is a scrumptious treat to read. I give this book two snaps and a golden twist. Until next time my fellow readers. Read on!
This book is a scorching Victorian read! 🥵🥵 It is the sixth book and last in the series but is great as a standalone.
Right from the start I entered the hedonistic world of Arthur and Linc and shortly after Josephine (Jo) came into their lives. The three share a brief few weeks of happiness (and much more than that) before Jo is forced by her father to marry an older titled gentleman. Arthur, who is the Earl of Dunmere and Marion Thomas, the Baron Lincolnshire (Linc) miss Jo immensely. They are both members of the Lustful Lords whose reputation as rakes proceeds them in the ton. They often spend a lot of their time at The Market, a club where anything goes and it usually does.
Five years later, Jo returns to their lives, with the addition of her son Matthew, the new Marquess of Whitestone as her husband died. Arthur and Linc are ecstatic and Jo has missed them both as much as they missed her. The thruple resume their relationship as before but it soon becomes apparent that dark forces from her deceased husband’s family could ruin their chances of happiness and possibly their lives.
I loved that Jo is a curvy lady in a time where it wasn’t fashionable and that Linc and Arthur love that about her. They all fall in love with each other and that really comes through in the writing. The writing throughout the book is so well written with great depth and detail. There’s a lot of dirty talk during the many very steamy, open door, greatly detailed scenes of intimacy that I love to read. There is a lot of chemistry between the three. There’s a lot of tenderness between the three adults and Matthew. The storyline of this book was a great read. There are also humorous moments as well as some angst. There’s also characters from previous books in the series, which was fun to read. I really enjoyed reading this book! The only thing that made me a little sad was there was no epilogue, which I feel completes the story. I would really recommend this book to anyone who enjoys steamy historical romance novels. I received a special copy of this book from the author. I’m voluntarily leaving this review.
What a wonderful addition to the Lustful Lords Series. I have wondered throughout the first five books what would happen to Linc in particular. To have this story be about Linc and Arthur is absolutely wonderful. And, added to their story is Jo. Jo is a wonderful character who is strong and determined yet has had to deal with awful circumstances thrust upon her by her father and other men in her life. Arthur, Jo, and Linc are amazing together. They all grow in their own personal ways through their heartbreaking journey to find a life together. I love how Linc and Arthur allow their uncertainties and life situations to play out in their own unique ways without pressuring each other. Same as with Jo. They absolutely love her and have since they initially met her 5 years prior. Jo was instrumental in bringing Linc and Arthur together. When they lost her, it broke my heart. I was so happy to have her back in their lives. This story was so well written. It had all the feels and was a scorcher! Their story is intense and I absolutely loved it.
“Their Brazen Countess” by Sorcha Mowbray tells the story of the last two Lustful Lords. After all the other Lords are married off Andrew and Link decide to go to the country to relax and escape London. While they are there they run into Josephine Marie Marshall the widowed girl from next door who is trying to avoid her parents in the woods between their properties. Josephine and the men meet in the hunting cottage until her social-climbing father marries her to another man to gain social status. Arthur and Link to each other to be consoled in her absence. Five years later Josephine shows back up in their lives. Complications follow her once her husband dies and they need to protect her and her son. I enjoyed this story and their relationships.
This is the 6th installment in the Lustful Lords series. What a great way to end it with Linc story. This is a very fast pace story. It's a MMF romance. The 3 MC had a journey of discovery and hardship a long the way. It has loads of explicit sex scenes 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟 if you like your books very spicy. Bring on the next brilliant series from a brilliant Author. I voluntarily review this book and the opinion expressed here is my own.
Another great addition to lustful Lords series. Sorcha Mowbray is a master story teller. She created a believable world of the lustful Lords. I was eagerly awaiting linc's story ever since he was introduced in the series. Arthur and Linc are kind of lost souls both looking for love n purpose. They meet jo n all three instantly click. But things weren't meant to be easy. Not want to give spoilers . My kindle was on fire with all the steam between these three. Go read it all...
What a great way to end the series! This was highly anticipated with the last bachelors Linc and Arthur left of the group. It pretty much starts and ends with a lot of hot and steamy scenes. I wasn't too keen on the plot towards the end but otherwise everything, characters and story was worth the wait.
A very intriguing book with three well fleshed-out characters that fall in love with each other and form a deep attachment that goes beyond pure lust. The chemistry between the three is sky-high and their lovemaking is hot and emotional. The plot is intriguing and never boring. Another hit in the Lustful Lords series!
This is going to be weird to say in a review about erotica but it was a bit too much sex for me. I did like the story though. Since I read book 6 first I'll have to go and read the others now.
I've been waiting for Linc for a long time, but I felt this was not quite to the mark. There's a lot of angst between Linc and Arthur. Jo was marvelous, and the plotline was decent.
