Father always told me I was an only child.
Raised in isolation, with only servants and employees of my father to speak with, I have never been around any others my age. Or shifters.

Father says the other shifters are lowly. Not worthy. Their bloodlines weak from breeding with humans and other creatures. Once, he spoke of fated mates but he doesn’t believe in them. He plans to keep me here on this plane forever. I have to escape him and this gilded cage he’s built for me.

My personal servant, Angie, secretly sent my blood to be tested, to find my mother but instead, she found that I have three sisters who all attend the Werewolf Academy.

Now to escape and not get caught in the process.

Cleo by Mazzy J. March takes us on a deeply personal journey of self-discovery, resilience, and the unbreakable bonds of family. For someone like me who revels in stories where characters step into their power and find their place in a world that once seemed foreign, Cleo's story resonated on a profound level.

Raised in isolation, Cleo’s life has been defined by her father’s rigid beliefs and overbearing control. The idea of shifters being "unworthy" and her father’s denial of fated mates immediately set the stage for a conflict that is both internal and external. Cleo’s sheltered existence is both a gilded cage and a source of her strength; it’s her yearning for freedom that makes her escape all the more thrilling and significant.

When Cleo discovers she has three sisters attending the Werewolf Academy, the plot shifts from a tale of captivity to one of familial reunion and self-empowerment. Cleo’s journey to break free from her father's oppressive control and to connect with her sisters is not just a physical escape but an emotional and spiritual awakening. It’s about breaking the chains of the past and stepping into a future full of possibilities.

The dynamic of fated mates adds a rich layer of romance to the narrative. Cleo's journey isn't just about finding her place among other shifters; it’s about discovering the deep connections that fate has woven into her life, connections her father denied and tried to control. The romantic elements are tender and intense, building from a place of innocence to a passionate exploration of what it means to truly belong to someone—and to have them belong to you.

What I loved most about Cleo is how it intertwines themes of self-discovery with the supernatural, using Cleo's shift from isolation to integration as a metaphor for all of us who have ever felt alone or different. Mazzy J. March skillfully blends the excitement of shifter lore with the emotional depth of a young woman finding her true self and her rightful place in the world.

For readers who cherish stories of personal growth, emotional connections, and the unbreakable bonds that define us, Cleo is a heartfelt and captivating addition to the Werewolf Academy series. It’s a story that promises not just a happily ever after, but an emotional journey that lingers long after the final page is turned.

I believe this is the final sister to show up at the Werewolf Academy although I think another book should be written to show how the sisters work together in the future. All of the girls are special in their own way and I was surprised the other sisters hadn't shared their uniqueness with Cleo. There really could have been more time spent with the sisters sharing and Cleo and her mates together before dear old dad showed up. I did enjoy the book and how the sisters welcomed her with open arms. There was a little bit of a revelation at the end but there again, it might have left enough of an opening to have another book written. If there is one, I will definitely read it.

I am assuming that this.was the last book of the series.
In the beginning of it, the author made us think she was this major bad ass who wanted out of her forced sheltered life.
We start to lose the plot early on.
It went from, I'm an independent woman, hear me roar, while I fight the forced life of my father.... To, oh no I'm a poor lost girl who doesn't understand technology or knows what an elevator is. Save me...
The series was one book, broken up four times, to waste time.
Nothing happened.
A small confrontation with their father and then...nothing.
What was the actual point to this series?

This is Cleo's story. I was happy that we finally found out who was Minx, Kiki and Ava's dad. Turns out he is an original shifter. And he only chose to raise Cleo. Cleo runs away to the werewolf Academy so she can finally meet her sisters and try and build a life away from the Gilded cage that her father had her living in.

Book 4 of the Werewolf Academy series focuses on the fourth sister Cleo. Readers finally discover who the father is and why he has been keeping Cleo under lock and key. Luckily when she enters the Werewolf Academy, she not only discovers her sisters but also her mates. This quick read was another great addition to the series and it was sweet seeing Cleo finally get to live a little and get some kindness in her life. All in all, a fun read!

Leaves me wanting more - in a good way!

I've read several of Mazzy March's series and loved them. This was the last book in a cute shifter romance series. I've enjoyed all of the books but I would have liked to have had more back story from the girls. This book was way too short. I would have liked to see more of Cleo's life with Rohan. It almost ends on a cliffhanger, are we going to see book five - Rohan's Retribution?

I’m so sad it’s over!

I have loved this whole series. I just wish there was more. I also loved seeing them confront their father. I highly recommend this series if you want something short and sweet but with alpha males and bada** females who learn just how strong they really are.
