Hermione Granger/Draco Malfoy

Voldemort has won. The Order has fallen. Harry Potter is dead.

Five years after the Battle of Hogwarts, Hermione Granger is pulled from Azkaban and forced to compete in the Dark Tournament against fellow fallen Order Members.

The Goblet of Shadows assigns each high ranking Death Eater a Champion. The Champion who wins the games will get to go free and their master, one of Voldemort’s Scions, will have secured their position as his Successor.

With Hermione being assigned to Draco Malfoy, the highest ranking Scion, she may have a chance.

There can only be one victor, one survivor and one shot at freedom.

Let the games begin.

I can’t rate it because it’s not done… apparently it’s only 50%(ish). I could cry. The plot development has been fantastic and the pov of so many different characters is intriguing. Hunger games and Harry Potter in one series, but dark. And when I say dark..I mean pitch black. Hermione is not ok and truthfully I don’t see how this works out for anyone. And so help me god if Darryl doesn’t get a HEA…

This needs to be taken down. It wasn’t created by the real writer and the writer has not agreed to have their work in this app.

(7/6/2025, 3:28am) This is a WIP so I’ll be back. Mostly doing this review so I don’t have to re-read when the other chapters are released. Reading this book three stars out of five because I could not put it down, but I am not sure if I would necessarily call it good or recommend it to anyone. It’s very messy. It’s very all over the place. There’s too many characters.

I hate hermione, Lucy, pansy, Ginny, Seamus, Ron, and Dennis. So whiny and repetitive. Barely any character development, same thoughts and replies- same conversations.

Holding my interest- Draco, narcissa, vold, Astoria (getting redundant though), Theo, Susan (RIP), mr obrien, phlynn

The rest can fuck off. As I said, too many characters. I don’t like the random POV changes without warning. I don’t like the elongated storylines that go no where. I don’t care for the religion aspect but I guess it’s a nice change. I do appreciate that there’s no moaning over coffee or tea, that is overused in these HP fanfics.

There are too many storylines. The hunger games aspect with tributes connected to both scions and tied to another person to keep them in check. Weird but okay I guess. The rapes and the constant refusal to expose rapists. Why did mrs wealsey need to have a knife in her vagina. So uncalled for. All of the references to her cookie knife, also uncalled for. Pansy’s drinking, uncalled for. What the fuck and where the fuck is Darryl. Who is fake Harry Potter, and why do so many characters have blue eyes. Why are the other magical creatures disappearing. Why have 15 characters in the hunger games but only show us Ginny, hermione, Astoria and Draco. Where is Luna. Where is Seamus with his half stroke and Unicorn shame. Where is teddy, why doesn’t Ginny just become a werewolf so she can stay with teddy since he was probably born one. Is Draco’s father alive, who the fuck keeps whistling. Why should we care that hermione speaks Gaelic with the O’Briens. It’s not important. The book is in English.

499 pages and they’ve only completed one task and hermione has lost her only female friend. How are they going to showcase a love affair with Draco, horcruxes, more werewolf lore, the hunger games, Darryl, and the other 48 storylines without this being 5000 pages? It’s too much.

This story is extremely overrated. If you plan to read it for Dramione, don’t waste your time, because Dramione doesn’t exist here. What you’ll find is a weak Hermione, broken after years of abuse, torture, loneliness, and starvation, and a Draco who doesn’t care about her — he only wants to keep her alive because they’re magically linked, and if she dies, he dies too.

Hermione here is completely insane and fragile. She spent five years in Azkaban and is now just a shell of her former self. The “Bamf Hermione” tag is there, but she’s the complete opposite. The story isn’t finished yet, but so far there are 52 chapters — and they were a total waste of time. The Hermione from chapter one — broken, thin, starving, and weak — is exactly the same in chapter 52. There’s been no character development at all. I can only imagine the story will end with her giving in to madness and killing herself, and Draco as well.

Draco here is terrible too. He’s awful to Hermione, and so far this doesn’t feel like a Dramione at all — especially because the author seems to prefer writing about side characters instead of actually developing the Dramione storyline. On top of that, she takes months to post a new chapter.

I’m sorry but why was I not made aware that this is a WIP until right now?! I need the rest of it immediately oh my god I would have waited to read it if I had known it wasn’t finished and she only updated every few months ahhhh. Still counting it towards my reading goal since I read 800 pages and I’ll be following the updated obviously
