I can honestly say that this is my favorite of the series after ‘WitchBlood’. Finn and Wesley are perfect together. Beyond that, however, the fascinating tale of three parts of a soul torn asunder and trying to find its way back together parsed with wicked fae curses, magical realms, massive amounts of snark, and a moment or two that brought tears to my eyes, was almost overwhelming. Almost. Thank you Lissa for the beauty of your words.
The two parts of the book read very differently. I must say, I enjoyed the first part more because of how much angst there is in the series, and the beginning was much lighter. But it's a very good novel in this series, and the writing has improved a lot.
The ending felt a bit rushed. I would've liked an expanded epilogue. But yay anyway!
I so love this series! I’m glad that Wesley has finally broken free and found his mate. What Finn went through was heartbreaking! I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
