Fuck, I loved this so much. Dante mf Kincaid is what I mean when I say that I wanna read about an OBSESSED man - god, he was sooooooo hot😩 Dance with the Devil was a quick, easy, drama free and DELICIOUSLY SMUTTY read that I thoroughly enjoyed. It had some of my absolute favorite kinks and seeing Dante obsess over and be devoted to Frankie for 2 years, ever since he saw her was *chef's kiss* 10/10 would recommend!!!

HOW am I just finding out about this author??!?

This was absolutely a gem, I loved everything: both the MCs, the hero was so swoony and the perfect balance between being a grump and all intense and so sweet and caring when it mattered, he was so obsessed and devoted to the heroine 😩Plus it didn't hurt there was absolutely zero talk of ow, any hint of cheating or any ow drama. That's how I love my heroes to be. All in from the very first moment they lay eyes on the heroine, so much so other women basically don't exist anymore 😁
The heroine was sweet and intelligent and nurturing and had good sense of humor. I loved that she wore her heart on her sleeve. The spice was 💥💥💥 plus so many of my favorite tropes were in this (grumpy-sunshine trope, boss-assistant trope, dubcon, rough seggs, somnophilia, breeding kink).
I'll go pick another book from this author right this second lol.

Frankie (fmc) annoyed me sometimes, but overall i really liked her. i loved her friendship with her bff Ari.

i usually don’t vibe too much with books that have the pregnancy trope outside of the epilogue, but this one was surprisingly okay in that regard. i absolutely loved the parasomnia/somnophilia 🥵 it was pretty hot! somnophilia is one of my favorite kinks to read about, so i might be biased 🤭

- this might sound silly, but i like when the mcs heights are mentioned, just so i can picture things properly lol

This was a unique story and nothing I have ever read before.
It‘s darkromance with a psychological twist and please be aware that there is kinda non consensual sex (he is a sleepwalker, if you know you know). The idea is great and I had a lot of fun reading.
Frankie and Dante are perfect for each other. The tension is real and I liked their interactions. Dante is obsessed with Francesca and she falls for him too. She is his assistant and they have to share a hotel room. It get’s hot, funny and we got a lot of banter.
This book was messy (in a good way) and got me giggling a lot of times.
If you‘re open to a new kind of darkromance I think you will enjoy this book.

If readers are into obsessive and possessive MMCs, they should give this one a chance. While it's not entirely dark, this has some themes that might be disturbing to some, so be sure to check the TWs.

That being said, I did enjoy it, but I just feel like everything that happened on Frankie's (28) side was a bit rushed. Her annoyance with Dante seemed to vanish in an instant after they spent two weeks together. Her sudden realization about her feelings just doesn't seem believable imo.

As for Dante (43), I liked his obsession with her. But he wasn't that OTT, the way I see it. Idk, I've probably inhaled so many dark stalkers and obsessed MMCs that my standards are now far too high and ridiculous. 🫣😅 Don't get me wrong, his obsession was enjoyable to read, but he wasn't that stern or firm when it came to claiming his girl. I'm probably used to unhinged men who wouldn't give a flying crap just to get their women or wouldn't wait for a long time to execute their plan.

But overall it was still an okay read. I'm curious about Frankie's best friend, Ari, and the next book is hers. I'm not a fan of the sibling's ex (wait, I think she's still in a relationship with him), but her MMC is the twin brother. Maybe there will be some cheating involved? Anywaaay, I'll just wait for it to satisfy my curiosity. 😅

yessss such a good book with all my favourite tropes.

dante is dark, enigmatic, sexy, and has a lot of depth. he was such a unique character. so possessive, unhinged and stalkery for frankie.

the tropes were so hot af ❤️‍🔥😏 and the smut was SMUTTING. if you combine somnophilia with stalker trope uk it's going to be amazing book.

I liked the hero and the general idea for this book.

But the heroine can go suck an egg.



Why?

Because she hated him because she had to do actual work for which she was paid 4 times more than a virtual assistant should make.

And she worked from home.

And she liked to whine. A LOT.

And she was judgemental and not very bright.

And you tell me I'm supposed to like this dumb bitch?

You fucking kidding me here?



If the heroine was different, I would have given it way more than 2 stars.

But it is what it is.

I don't like dumb bitches in my reads.

I need to like the heroine to enjoy my book.

Like I said, I know this book is not for everyone. I read on Wattpad so stuff like this doesn’t bother me but it doesn’t make it right either.

This book made me realize why I love obsession romance.

I never heard of that type of insomnia and now it’s now a fear of mine.

Damn sometimes when I read boss x assistant romance it makes me want to work as an assistant knowing damn well I’m going to be stressed and not fall in love.

I read this book in one sitting or laying down. I pulled an all nighter for this book and took a break and finished it.

I like how Dante told her about his feelings for Frankie rather than her having to find out.

I’m crying right now because of how much I loved this book!! I could go on for hours talking about it. This had everything I love and more. I’m going to be thinking about this book for a while.

I stayed up till almost four in the morning finishing this when I have to get up early, and I have no regrets. I wasn’t bored for even a second while reading. Their story flowed really well, and I’m definitely going to look into more books from this author.

Frankie’s bsf is going to be getting her own book, and I can’t wait!

The story started off very strong and I was enjoying the darker parts with the psychology behind them. But then everything seemed to fizzle out into nothing. The last half took away all of the taboo, smexy, scenes and instead became a lot of telling more than showing. It was like every other page near the end was filled with quick details of how these characters had spent the last few days, or weeks, but we never got to actually see it. It made the story move way too fast and didn't give these characters the time they deserved in my opinion.

I still enjoyed the book overall, I just wish what the beginning had promised was throughout the entirety of the story.

I had to read this after seeing my bestie M's review, and this was an easy 3.5 stars rounded up.

FINALLY an FMC who says oh my super sexy, rich, intelligent boss is obsessed with me and kind of stalking me? Sign me tf up! That's probably my favorite thing about this book. The FMC didn't have a super long internal debate about if she's allowed to be into her hot boss or not. And the super hot boss in question was the perfect mix of obsessed but not disrespectful.

I also read this in like 4 hours, so if you're looking for something quick, spicy, and somehow still kind of sweet, then pick this up! I also wouldn't classify this as very dark if that's holding you back.

This book was heavy on chemistry and tension, but very light on actual plot. Frankie and Dante had intense, almost overwhelming attraction from the start, which worked at first but quickly became repetitive without enough story to support it.
The relationship moves fast and leans hard into passion and obsession, but there isn’t much happening beyond that. The chemistry is loud and constant, while the plot takes a back seat, which made the story feel unbalanced and a bit hollow.

Oysa Dante en başlardaki o Can Manay havasıyla çok daha başka rüzgarlar estirebilirdi. Frankie de hiç bi numarası olmayan dümdüz bir vatandaş ki ben öyle olmasına bayıldım.

Je to taková hodně oddychová úchylárnička. 😅 Líbil se mi námět, ale bylo to strašně, fakt strašně, uspěchané. Byla tam spousta témat, která si zasloužila víc pozornosti. I swear, the banter between these two was absolutely amazing.🤭🤣 I loved the way they messed with each other every day, especially with how Frankie made Dante jealous.🤣 And don’t even get me started on Dante!🤭He’s the perfect mix of hot, possessive, and totally obsessed.🙂‍↕️

The fact that he emailed Frankie every day for two years just to hold her attention and keep her thinking about him is wild. And when she was in a relationship with OM, he made her work harder than ever just to keep her away from Grant. 🤭😂 The best part was when she thought he hated her, but in reality, he was so obsessed that he had been writing about his feelings for her in his journal the whole time.😮‍💨

Dr. Kincaid is a well known doctor in the psychiatric world and Francesca is his assistant. She’s been working for him as a virtual assistant for a few years, all communication between them was online until a hotel mix-up during a work trip will change it all. What she thought she knew about her boss is nothing compared to reality.

Dante has one obsession and only one. Francesca. Ever since he saw her picture, that was it. She became his darkest obsession and his biggest desire. When he had to attend a work conference and requests her to join him, he’ll fight like hell to stay away from her and keep it professional, but his condition makes it hard for him to maintain control. And once he gets a taste, nothing else will matter.

This book was so good!!! Maybe I should be seeing a psychiatrist because the way I melted for Dante was not right. 🥵 especially when he pocketed her ring (iykyk) I about died reading it, so hottttt!! I loved every part of it and I already want to read it all over again! Also, I’m so happy there’ll be more books in that world following Ari, Francesca’s best friend. Can’t wait!!! 🖤

“Dance with the Devil” was one of those books I immediately told myself, “self, you need to own a copy of this one.” It was an unplanned read that I decided to pick up. I found that it was everything and more that I was looking for. It’s an age gap romance that is an unexpected forced proximity, boss/employee, s3xsomnia, br33ding, pregnancy, and only about 200 pages! The author knows me well—only in my head—she has no idea who I am.

Frankie finds herself in quite a predicament at a work conference with her boss, Dr. Dante Kincaid, whom she refers to as Dr. Devil for a good reason. Due to a room situation, she is to share a suite with him. What she wasn’t aware of is a condition that he has that causes him to do shmexy things while he is asleep until it happens to her.

The spicy scenes were incredible. Dante is the type of guy who is complicated to read and difficult to break, yet Frankie is the one who can crack through that exterior. I loved “Dance with the Devil”. The story moved swiftly, the dialogue was perfect, and I loved that readers would get more into Ari’s story. I can’t wait!

I was in such a reading slump & didn’t know what I wanted to read to help but I k ew it had to be something different from my last few books &&& boy did this hit the motherfu**ing spot !!! I’d bought it when it was free on KU & have no regrets.

It was everything I needed and I absolutely ate this up the plot was fantastic and the spice was spicing Dante & Frankie were just perfect check your triggers but this will be one of many I read from this author.

omfg this book!!!!!! I devoured it!! Absolutely incredible and so freaking hot. The spice was spicy, the banter was fun, the ending was perfect!! Tbh I feel a little feral after reading that. Five stars!!!

Frankie (FMC) is the assistant to Dante (MMC) and he is... obsessed with her which, tbh, is an understatement. They go on a work trip together and, oh look, there's only one room left. All Frankie has to do is heed his warning and lock the bedroom door, simple right?

Dante's obsession is problematic but it's also really really hot so like... good for him. When the pair address the elephant in the room (Dante's condition) sparks fly and they cum together (😉) again, and again, and again

I was so pleasantly surprised by this; it was dark, but not super dark. There are quite heavy themes such as loss of a baby and some very questionable decisions made by a doctor lmaooo; like tampering with birth control— no because I really had to take a moment and pause. It was crazyyy, but it was so good.

And Lord, the somnophilia kink was something else, combined with parasomnia, it’s such a wild ride. Honestly, I had such a great time with this palette cleanser from what I was currently reading. Dante is simply unhinged and will stop at nothing to make Frankie his.

I thought they were good characters, I’d have liked seen abit more of Frankie, she was okay, but I felt like Dante had abit more depth to him, I found myself looking more forward to his chapters, idk maybe that’s because he’s an unhinged psychopath (borderline) lmao, no, he fully is one.

This had a lot of my favourite tropes I enjoy, and the triggers, well, there was an abundance of them; honestly, I’m really questioning the state of my sanity because it shouldn’t have been that good!

Me gustó. Puede que este libro sea demasiado cuestionable, pero la forma en la que me atrapó esta historia es fascinante.

Si en la vida real me aparece una persona como Dante, juro que corro, jajajaja. Que eran esos pensamientos psicópatas, jajajaja 😭😭
