Tropes: Prophecy Curse He Falls First Plant Magic Enemies to Lovers Cottagecore vibes
Sacrifice for the Standing Stones is a cozy clean romance story with cottagecore vibes. Theo, the MMC, is the youngest prince of the realm. He's volunteered to be the next suitor of the Last Druid- the hopes to impregnate her in order for the Druid line to continue, thus saving the Forest, and to give the Queen an heir to the throne.
However, Bria, our FMC, is not having it. She's the Last Druid. She knows she needs to continue her line in order for the Forest to continue to thrive and prosper. Only.... the druids have been cursed. Once Bria falls pregnant and gives birth, she'll die, leaving behind the next Las Druid. Bria has no desire to die. She's looking for a way to break the curse and Theo is just in her way.
Can Bria and Theo work together to break the curse of the Druids without Bria thinking Theo is just trying to work his way into her bed? Can Theo prove to Bria his intentions are true?
I thought the story was cute and cozy! I feel for Bria. I mean.... I'd be looking for a cure too! Who wants to die immediately after giving birth? Not me. I get it's hard for her to trust Theo, every suitor up to this point has wanted in her pants. I like that she's fiesty but also she still cares about the Forest and loves it.
Theo is just a sweet and nerdy Prince. He cares more about books than trying to bed Bria. It's not often you get a MMC that's nerdy, I liked it! I could use more Theo's in books.
*That epilogue-- somehow I teared up a little. What a beautiful closure.
If you're looking for a delightfully heartwarming fantasy romance, Sacrifice for the Standing Stones is a must-read. Bree Moore's writing is both captivating and thought-provoking, making this a truly unforgettable story. This charming tale of love, friendship, and the power of nature is a perfect choice for cozy autumn days.
The story follows Bria, the last surviving Druid, who is cursed to die in childbirth. Determined to break this ancient prophecy, she embarks on a quest to find love and freedom. Along the way, she encounters Theo, a charming and bookish prince who is determined to win her heart.
The love story between Bria and Theo is the heart of the novel. Their connection is deep and meaningful, filled with tenderness, respect, and unwavering support. Their journey together is both touching and inspiring, showcasing the power of love to overcome even the most challenging obstacles.
Moore's world-building is beautifully crafted, creating a mystical and enchanting setting. The Druids' connection to nature and their magical abilities are explored with depth and detail. Her vivid descriptions truly bring the world to life, thoroughly immersing you in the story.
Sacrifice for the Standing Stones is more than just a love story. It's a tale of hope, resilience, and the power of human connection. I absolutely loved it!!!
This was such a fantastic book that I devoured it in less than a day. The world Moore created here was so complex and well put together. The history between the druids and the humans was so well done that I'm not sure how so much information came across in fewer than 300 pages without feeling heavy at all. It was also great seeing an epic fantasy with an active matriarchy.
This story was great from start to finish, but I'm not ready to say goodbye to these characters, so I hope there's a sequel.
Really great enjoyable read, first book by this author and most certainly won't be my last. I was captivated from the start, great characters even the ones you don't like. Good descriptive writing I could visualise the world created. It's an enemies to lovers story with a curse that needs to be broken or Bria will eventually die. There is suspense and humour an little twists you don't see.
Sacrifice for Standing Stone by Bree Moore is a beautiful, cathartic read, that’s absolutely perfect for fall. The novel brought about so much introspection on themes of nature conservation, feminism, and autonomy. (I’m sure there are more that are slipping my mind). One specific example is that the FMC, Bria, a Druid and the only living Druid, is cursed via bloodline to die in childbirth. However, if she has no child, the forest dies, ruining the kingdom in the process. For personal reasons, Bria’s struggles through this part of the plot connected with me and it was very cathartic to read it through to her resolution. The story mainly focuses on the FMC Bria and the MMC Theo, but Moore gives all her characters, even small secondary characters, lots of emotional depth. While I felt the most connected to Bria and Theo every character was vital and so fun to uncover. I was completely captivated by the world building and uncovering the mystery. There was an urgency throughout the story to solve the mystery through Bria’s magic which held me on the edge of my seat. The ending was so amazing and fit the story so well! I definitely recommend this book and anything Bree Moore writes.
Ok this book was REALLY cute. I loved Bria and Theo with my whole heart. Bria is the witchy little forest Druid that I always longed to be and Theo is a bookworm who is just trying to get himself a free library after seducing the last Druid priestess - a deal he makes with his horrendous mother. As you can imagine it doesn't quite go to plan. They begrudgingly come to enjoy each other's company and it's just too darn cute. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this, it was definitely giving cozy fantasy vibes perfect for your Autumn TBR.
The story is set in a magical fantasy world where druids are charged by their goddess to protect and steward the earth and the forest's inhabitants. Bria is the last druid, cursed like her mother and grandmothers before her, to die upon the birth of a child. But to carry on the druid bloodline, and leave an heir to protect the land, she would have to bear a child. So she seeks to break the curse, before any human suitor sent by the queen can impregnate her. Theo is the kind and awkward youngest of the princes of the realm, whose only desire is to be left alone to study and read his books in peace. Until the day comes that he volunteers to be a potential suitor to the druid, in exchange for a large atheneum being built for him to study in, and to be left alone by his wicked criticizing mother.
The premise of the book captured my attention only 2 chapters in, as it was unique and intriguing. The characters were strong and loveable, even the villains that I loved to hate. Theo and Bria had a beautiful chemistry, the way they balanced one another out with their differences, and learned from one another. The writing was also beautiful, though not overly complex, and really drew me in easily. The way the author described the plants of the forest, and even simple scenes such as Bria cooking in her cottage, was so vivid and cozy. It really put you in a whole new world.
The story had a little of all the cozy things: cooking foraged meals over a fire, a fun village festival, giant forest creatures, magical nature powers... It was a sweet comforting story that I couldn't put down.
• Slow burn • Strong powerful FMC • HEA • Cinnamon roll MMC • Druid lore • Break the curse
1/5 🌶️! If you like clean romantasy, this book, even with the topic of breeding involved, had basically no spice beyond a couple of kissing scenes.
I would absolutely recommend this book!

Hi, hello, thank you so much for letting me be your arc reader! I have been in a reading slump for months and could not put this down. I read it in between customers while at work, and finished it when I got home. It is currently 2:30 am and I am wide awake because of this book.
I am not one to give out 5-star reviews, but I think this warrants 5 stars. For me, a five-star read is when you can't put the book down and read it cover to cover in one sitting and I haven't done that since I read The Hobbit for the first time.
The Pros: The writing is simplistic yet elegant. I found your writing easy to grasp and yet flow in a way that entertained me immensely throughout the story. I enjoyed how you described things; you were able to paint a picture for me and I wasn't confused about what was going on.
The pacing is very good. Some might say it starts a little slow, but I enjoy that, and I feel it adds to the tension once you get to the middle of the book. The dialogue was nice and believable and I loved the banter between Bria and Theo. There were times it just made me giggle and kick my feet.
I love how Bria is written, though her stubbornness did annoy me at times, I love how you showed her faults along with her strengths. The druid magic is unique and I found that the magic itself; being connected to Tala and how it is used in the story was interesting. It was hard to predict what the magic would do next.
Theo is a sweetheart, and I related a lot to him being a recluse who enjoys books and does not like being around people. This was a different take on the male love interest you see in fantasy. While I love certain tropes when it comes to male love interests, making him a soft, nerdy boy was refreshing and I found myself rooting for him from the beginning. He was pleasant and not annoying, his choices were plausible and prone to mistakes--like keeping the tea tin. I found myself wanting to shake him and tell him to that away.
I am happy that Magus got what was coming to him for being a major creep. I like the sprinkling of hints that he was banging Theo's mom, and it made me hate him even more. I'm so glad he got buried.
The queen is a catch you next Tuesday and is on sight.
Overall, I enjoyed the story, it was a really fun plot, and it felt very intimate with few main characters, and very character-driven which is refreshing from the epics usually found in fantasy. Very well done, and I am excited to read more from you.
The Cons: A few sentences do come across as a little run-on and rambly, but overall it doesn't take away from the experience, there were a few typos but nothing major or annoying.
The one thing I wish was a bit more tidbits about the world-building. I was hoping for a bit more lore drops about the world. Other than that, it was great.

I received an ARC from the author to read and review this book.
This was a very well written, intriguing story of the last surviving Druid who is tasked with having relations with a human, having a child and then dying at childbirth. What a life! Who would want that! Certainly not Bria! She searches for a way to end this “curse” all the while discouraging the suitors sent by the human queen.
Finally one unlikely suitor shows up unlike the previous ones and after a rocky start they start to form a friendship when she becomes ill and he takes care of her. While she is sleeping he reads one of her books but later confesses to her what he did but instead of being angry, she wants him to read all the books because she can’t read the writing and wants to know what they say. Together they set out to break the curse.
Together their bond grows until a item he brought with him shatters that trust and she banishes him from her sight. Unfortunately his mother, the queen, and her lover and guards are waiting when he returns and a trap is waiting for Bria upon her return. When she does return, Theo tries to alert her is wounded and something miraculous happens.
This is a great story of how two people brought up in two different environments but essentially both isolated from others let fear and distrust of everyone around them keep them from trusting anyone until they each meet each other and finally find in each other the spark that completes themselves!
It was a journey of trying to trust each other, failing and trying again and when it looked like it was doomed to fail the final time, when Theo had done all he could to tell Bria how he felt towards her, it took her to recall what the vision of her spirit mother said to finally make her change her mind and go after Theo and as they say the rest is history!
I wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend this book as one I know you’ll enjoy reading! It’s a book that is fast paced and you’ll be turning the pages just as quickly as you can to see what happens next!
It’s an imaginative and well written novel that you’ll easily get caught up in believe me!
Let me start by saying that this was a very well-written book. The author is no wattpad-wannabe. Bree Moore knows how to write, and it shows.
The characters were all very compelling and interesting, and I enjoyed the dual POV writing. The narrative of the story was also exceptional and flowed super well. I finished this book much earlier than I anticipated due to it being such a fun and easy read. My issue with this book I believe is the base of the story.
The short, no spoilers summary is that there are humans and then there are druids. Due to a war, Bria (our FMC), is the last Druid left. She is plagued by a curse that has the female Druids die upon giving birth. She is, obviously, determined to break the curse.
From the human side we have Theo (our MMC), the youngest son of a very cruel queen. Definitely a bookish and sensitive guy, Theo volunteers to go to the woods to “woo” Bria.
That’s where my issues for this book start. The premise of the book is that Bria doesn’t want to get pregnant and die, and the humans basically train men to go out into the woods and (pardon my phrasing) knock the Druid currently there up.
*SPOILERS START HERE*
Theo comes into the woods, meets a very aloof Bria and slowly but surely starts to win her heart. While he is out in the forest (on a deadline to produce an heir in three months by his mother, mind you) he learns her ways and begins to appreciate nature. I would be able to set the whole pregnancy mission aside if it really ended here, but it doesn’t.
Part of the basis of the story is that druids have “fertile periods”. Basically, they are in heat for a month every 10 years from when they are 20 to 50. During this “fertile” time, Druids get pregnant. Pretty simple.
Bria has never had one of these periods before, and (of course) she has her first one while Theo is there with her. That coupled with her actual growing feelings for Theo makes her feel very conflicted because she really doesn’t want to get pregnant until she breaks the curse.
Having the “fertile periods” to me was not only unnecessary but somehow cheapened the relationship between Bria and Theo. Bria was confused if her feelings were for Theo because she liked him or because she was entering her (for lack of better word) horny phase. I like the idea of Bria not knowing the source of her feelings and having to sort out whether or not she truly does care for Theo, but the whole “fertile” component was weird to me. It made the relationship less about them and more about the fact that she was in heat.
I know the point of the story was to showcase Bria’s strength and how she was a person who could grow and learn, but the pregancy aspect really turned her entire purpose into just reproducing. Like the forest kept showing her mating animals to remind her she needed to fulfill her purpose of breeding.
And while a breeding kink is something I am familiar with and don’t mind, this wasn’t that. But hey, that’s just my two cents. If you don’t mind or you like the idea — this book is definitely for you.
The only other issue I had with the story was the world building. The foundation for an intricate and complex world was laid, especially when it was revealed that the Druids started the war against the humans, not the other way around. But that’s all the information we got. The war and the eradication of Bria’s people is a HUGE part of the story and yet it wasn’t fully fleshed out much. We don’t know really WHY Tala cursed the Druids in full, or why she cursed them with this specific curse.
The depths of Bria’s power and what exactly a Druid can or cannot do was also not well explained. What we as the readers learned about Druids was more from Theo and his research about them than the actual Druid herself.
The villain, Theo’s mother, was also an example of lost potential. All we knew about her before Theo left for the forest was that she was essentially cruel and didn’t respect or love Theo. She seemed more of a nuisance than an actual villain until the end when she showed up in the woods and revealed her evil plan. I didn’t know enough about her to dislike her or root against her, she just showed up and the story said “she’s the bad guy!”
I would have liked it better if the premise was that they needed positive relations with the Druids and that’s why people were sent out to the woods. Not to mate with her but to foster a positive relationship, especially since it was established how much humans needs the forest and Druids. And if the curse was that she would die at some other milestone, such as a birthday or a certain year, not that she would die after giving birth. ———————————————————————
Pros: - Excellent characters - Well written and flowed nicely - An excellent no-spice romantasy - Top-tier romance (you could really see the romance build between the two MCs!)
Cons: - Lack of world building - Characters aside from the main two were not developed well - Bit of a rushed ending IMO - Breeding premise gave me the ick
I liked this book and it was a fun and easy read, but the fertility and pregnancy aspect was a bit weird for me, especially considering the world building was lacking. I think this book could have benefited from being longer. I wouldn’t have minded more exposition on our MCs and side characters, especially since Bree Moore is such a talented writer.
I would recommend this book to anyone who was comfortable with the breeding premise being such a big bulk of the story. I leave this read very excited to read other works of hers!
~ I was provided an ARC in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions shared are my own. Thank you so much to Bree Moore for letting me provide input on her book! :) ~

Sacrifice for the Standing Stones was a fun and intriguing read that followed the last Druid, Bria, on her quest to break the curse that has long plagued the Druid women before her. She knows that if she were to become pregnant by the relentless pursuers that long to become the father of the next Druid heir, her life would come to an abrupt end.
Theo, the Queens bookworm son, volunteers to "woo" the last Druid, but his intentions are pure. Magnus Ironcrest, the pursuer before him, had brought hatred and slander to the Queen regarding Bria, causing the Queen to try and take action against her. Theo volunteers to go see her, and their relationship blossoms over the course of several months.
Theo was such a fun character to follow. His boyish charm, love of books, and his rather passive attitude made me love him even more. I never thought once during this book that he was going into this with bad intentions and that Bria found a good one, whether she knew at the time or not. He quite literally risked his life to be with her and protect her.
Bria was a very introspective character that I truly enjoyed. She knew what was going to happen if things played out before she could break the curse but never gave up hope of breaking it. I admired her ability to think about her actions, and even though there were times that I wanted to shake her because I'm like, "Girly, he likes you... he's a good man, " but I get what being left alone and only wanted for one thing will make a person question everything. Anyway, the scene in the giant tree on top of the mushrooms was chefs kiss!!!
Just finished this sweet tale of how love can change everything.
Bria is the last of her kind in search for a way to break the curse that has plagued her Druid line for centuries.
Theo is the third born Prince in a royal family that has no aspersions of joining his brothers in political games, but would rather spend his days lost in books learning about all there is in the world.
When the queens past tactics of sending suitors to the Druid fails, Theo strikes a deal with the Queen to gain his freedom from the court. Theo is nothing like those that entered the forest before him and he begins to soften Bria’s walls.
They in turn work together to repair that which was lost to the Druids and in time learn to trust and love one another.
This tale was so fun. The way Bree builds the world around you is beautifully done and I wanted to stay in that forest forever. I loved the way Theo took care of Bria and helped her in her quest. The slow burn was wonderfully done and I was captive in their relationship from their first meeting.
This truly was such a joy to read. A great fantasy story that is unlike any other I’ve read.
What a great story with a unique story line. We meet Bria who happens to be the Druid. Her people have been subjected to long standing curse and caused the line to die out, Bria is determined to be the one to break the curse. Bria is highly coveted as the last druid since every Tom, Dick and Harry want to be the father to the next heir of the Druids. These pressures are relentless in obtaining Bria. Bria also knows that if that were to happen, her life would be cut short.
In all of this chaos we are introduced to Theo who happens to be the crown prince and bit of an outcast. He volunteers himself to "woo" Bria. Unlike other pursues, Theo’s intentions are pure and honest. Magnus, the most recent pursuer has slandered Bria since she has rejected him. Mangus takes his slander before the Queen and the Queen orders Bria to be brought to justice. Theo meets Bria and they find connection.
I really enjoyed the character growth and how Theo never changed. It’s a beautiful story that you won’t regret reading.
Druids have officially become my new favorite supernatural creature. Bria is an amazing female lead. She is powerful, strong willed, and a little too narrow minded. She has been alone for several years and is the last of her kind. She has to deal with suitors sent from a nearby kingdom whose sole purpose is to seduce her to get her pregnant. Her people’s curse is that when the baby is born, she will die. So she spends her time sending suitors away and searching for something that will break the curse. Then comes Theo, the latest suitor who happens to be a prince from the nearest kingdom sent by his mother, the queen with the sole instruction, to get the Druid pregnant. Their relationship starts off rough but as they get to know each other they come to an understanding. It is an amazing story in a very unique world! I am unsure if there will be more set in this world but you definitely do not want to miss out on the magic of druids and the sacrifices they make to provide for the forest.
This book is absolutely amazing! The story progressed slowly for me at the start but then it sucked me in so bad that I didn’t want it to end! I cried the last 50 or so pages 😭 I fell in love with Bria and Theo! I hope it’s not the end of their beautiful story! I loved everything about it! The word building was easy to understand. The strong FMC I relate to, I’ve been teaching my toddler to respect nature since she started walking (I don’t have druid powers though, I wish 😅). The nerdy MMC who loves books and doesn’t like to socialize? That’s totally me! I really liked how their relationship developed (no forced proximity, no bullying) it was so natural ❤️ And what I also really really loved is the style of the author’s writing. English is not my native language. It was so easy to read the story and understand everything, not needing to translate anything ☺️ I do have a lot of questions that weren’t answered in the book, so I’m hoping for a sequel🤞
While there are some intense moments and heavy topics, the overall vibe of the book puts you at ease in the magical forest of the Morwood where the Last Druid lives. The themes dwell on healing, justice, and finding your own path and Moore was able to explore that while seamlessly fleshing out a larger world even though we keep the setting 'close to home' as it were.
If you're looking for a short, contained fantasy with druid magic, a bookish male lead, and fierce hedge-witch female lead, I think you'll love this book. There's a great deal of internal reflection in the minds of our two protagonists so if you're looking for a change from novels with break-neck pacing, this is the book for you. Curl up under a blanket with some herbal tea and let Moore whisk you away to the forest just as autumn (or The Gathering, as the druids would call it) approaches and the earth gets ready to slumber.
I wasn’t sure about this one at first. It started off a little too slow for what i normally like. BUT I promised to read it and give an honest review. It is definitely 4.5/5 ⭐️
The character growth for both MC’s is so good! It’s a powerful story about forgiveness and love. (Don’t want to say too much)! The mystery around the curse is also intriguing and well done.
The plot is thought out and flows well once you get into it and you get to really know the characters. It does honestly just revolve around the two MC’s most of the book. You meet a few side characters. But it’s mainly them.
It is a short read, but unlike a lot of short reads the author does an excellent job of tying up everything and not rushing the conclusion.
I highly recommend this book if your looking for a good standalone 🖤
This was a fantastic fantasy read. Bria our fmc is the last in the line of the Druid priestesses and is cursed as was her mother and grandmother before her to have an heir which will drain her powers and kill her. Bria struggles with this and hopes to break the curse which could in turn ruin the forest and the kingdom so what’s a Druid to do? Theo is a prince trapped and wanting to escape so he bargains with his mother the queen to travel to the forest to win the heart of the Druid and make his escape. Their story is intriguing as we follow their journey to discover each other and what was once lost to the druids. The world building is incredible, the storyline mysterious and suspenseful and we have 2 mc’s that has you on their side and wanting them to get their hea.
You know you’re consumed by a book when 60% of the way in, it gives you a nightmare. Not that this book is scary in any way, but it just shows how much my brain was into this book.
This book really drew me in right from the start. Theo in his scholarly, kind, and loving ways and Bria’s cold, scared, and stubborn personality both helped me to connect with them.
I really loved joining in on the journey these two went on to find out more about themselves, each other, and their ancestors. The author really brought this world to life in the story.
If you’re into fantasy love stories, this book is for you!
I loved the story in this book! While somewhat predictable, it was actually a really lovely read. The struggles of both main characters are relatable and make you want things to work out for them. While the book did feel a little short to me, it made up for it with a rich environment and small details that I appreciate in everything. When I say, "somewhat predictable," I mean that happy ever after I always love in books, so predictable in that case was not a bad thing, just expected. The ending was good and one part of it even brought tears to my eyes (but I won't spoil that for anyone). Very good read, highly recommended.
This was such an amazing read! I was hooked from the first sentence and I couldn’t put it down! A lovely and compelling story about how love can change everything.
Bria is the last Druid; cursed to be the only one until she is to die in childbirth. Her quest is to break this curse, and live.
Theo is a scholar who happens to also be the third crowned prince. He has studied and studied the ways of the Druids in hopes to be the perfect suitor to the last Druid when his time comes.
Their slow burn romance was so good. If you love romantasy, but want a clean closed door read you should run for this one.
Tropes: Slow burn Strong FMC Cinnamon roll MMC HEA Druids Clean fantasy romance
This was a cute and cozy romantic fantasy novel that followed the main character, Bria, and her attempts to break the curse that was placed on her bloodline. It was fun to follow along and see what she would try next to change her fate. The main male character, Theo, was such a wonderful, lovable person and I thoroughly enjoyed reading about the interactions he had with Bria!
I haven't read any books with druids in them before so it was really cool to read this book! I like that it's a standalone novel and didn't leave the audience on a cliffhanger. To sum up the book, it is simply *chefs kiss.*
I loved this book so much, it only took me 2 days to read!
Sacrifice for the Standing Stones is a unique spin on the human/magical being Romantasy. Bria is a likeable grumpy druid FMC, living in an impossible situation. The cinnamon roll MMC is lovable and endearing. Together they discover more about themselves and their histories which made for a very enjoyable and cozy read. The last few chapters take a turn for suspense and kept me on edge. My heart was nervous and torn waiting to see how it would all end up, and I really loved it. This is a stand-alone read.
This is a 5 ⭐️ 🫑🫑🫑 read. I’m giving this the green peppers because there was one light fade to black scene, but also note that *spice* is talked about a lot among the characters.
I loved this books unique storyline and magical cottagecore vibes. Bria, our FMC, is so strong having to have been independent virtually her whole life. As a druid she has so much respect for nature of course and it is fascinating to see her powers flourish. Theo, our MMC, is awkward and bookish, making him possibly the most relatable MMC I've ever stumbled upon. I loved watching their relationship unfold as they got to know each other better. It is quite a wild ride in attempting to break Bria's curse! This world truly felt so magical and I hope to get to visit these characters again.
This book starts out as quite a slow burn but it's so worth the read, as we learn about Bria's life and the history of her people alongside our MMC Theo you can't help but fall in love with Druid people and their ways of looking after the forest and all things living. We followed Theo as he found his confidence and where he truly belonged in the world. This was such a lovely story and I look forward to coming back to this series to learn more.
I received this book as a ARC read in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I am OBSESSED with this book! From the first 50 pages I was hooked and did not put this book down until I finished it
This book is a beautiful HEA between the last druid and a human prince Watching the characters develop on their own while also developing a relationship and better future for more than themselves The world building is unique but not confusing, the magic system easy to follow
I highly recommend this book for anyone looking for a cute romantasy with a stubborn af FMC
By far my favorite of the “Of Dusk & Dawn” series so far!
Wretched queen sending her youngest son into the forest with a demand to be the father of the child she needed to bare. Theo even though he also wants this does not for the same reasons.
Bria is the only Druid of the forest, daughter of Tala. She bares a terrible curse of her people where once she has a baby she will die. She’s had many men come to her but she’s turned them all away.
I loved reading about these two! I laughed and gasped and I will absolutely read this story again!
I loved the premise of this story, being based around a prophecy with a prince trying to woo the last druid, and thought it was quite unique. I also love that she brought so much tension without needing to increase any spice. Seriously, this story was well written and I enjoyed reading it, I look forward to her other books! She had me laughing, crying, and on the edge of my seat basically until the end. Their romance is also super cute with her being a BadA druid and him being the nerdy scholar next door personality. I kind of really love it.
Throughly enjoyed this book! When Theo, third son of the queen, nominated himself to whoo the last druid priestess he can’t help but fall in love. Bria is harder to break. They send suitors but they all seem to fail, that is until Theo walks into her life. On Theo’s mission to get close he helps her find the cave she needs. Little does she know the cure is in front of her the whole time. Not to fantasy/fairy but just enough. Magic from the forest/mother of all. A nature based tale. Slow burn romance.
