After a freak accident, I lost a whole year’s worth of memories. I woke up to so many mysteries. Suddenly, I owned a home. My relationship with my dad was better, I guess? And most strangely, I had boyfriends.
Over the past year, I was in a relationship with four men.
Ben, my childhood crush with the sweetest disposition. Cal and Locke, twin professional baseball players. Pearson, the only one I could remember dating. We were high school sweethearts. Once upon a time, I would’ve done anything for him.
Despite our broken relationship, they insisted that I live with them while I recovered. Some of them wanted me back, but I could tell that I made mistakes and hurt them.
I wanted answers. What happened between all of us? Is it possible for us to start over?
After all these insecurities, confessions, and declarations of love, the group of us may leave this situation a little bit stronger.
SAFETY SQUAD: This is a New Adult reverse harem standalone, meaning our heroine has multiple love interests and she doesn't have to choose. Medium burn, guaranteed HEA by the end of the novel, and absolutely no cheating or OW drama. Just deeply possessive men with eyes only for their woman.
The writing was subpar, the FMC was very childlike and chose to not look into anything that gave her the cause for concern, and the MMC's followed the standard harem personalities. We even got a guy who was rude to the FMC for who knows what for?
This would have been a one star review, but we did see a glimpse of someone in the harem who was struggling with sharing and that doesn't happen often.
Hmm... the ending kind of took a little away from the story simply because it's unresolved. I would have liked to have known one way or another how that part of the 'relationship' turned out.
Other than that... it's a good read. Our fmc wakes up with amnesia, forgetting the past year. She learns she was in a polyamourous relationship that was crumbling, and they all scramble to fix what was broken.
