How far will a young woman go to realize a fantasy?
Julia, a young submissive, and Rob, her boyfriend of three years, are in a healthy consensual D/s relationship.
When Julia reluctantly confesses to Rob that she fantasizes about submitting to other men, Rob decides to help her test her limits by bringing her fantasy to life. He arranges to have four of his friends share Julia for an afternoon -- with his full approval and participation. She is to surrender herself -- her power, her body -- to the four men, just as she does to Rob.
But there are Can she handle the intensity of her fantasy as it unfolds for real? What does living out her fantasy mean for the future and character of her relationship with Rob? Will she give herself fully to the other men, or will she reserve the most intimate depths of her submissive self solely for one true owner?
The reality of what Julia will experience during the long afternoon will test her limits, her obedience in submission, and determine just who really ... "owns" Julia.
Warning - This BDSM erotica novella is for adults only and features the following spanking, humiliation, degradation, breast torture, face-slapping, rough sex (including oral), Dominance/submission (M/F, and gang), sadomasochism, bondage, and explicit sex (including anal), and all manner of other things you will certainly find offensive.
It's not often that I come across a new author or new writing that throws me back in my chair with a stunned Keanu Reeves-esque "Whoa."
Owning Julia is just such a book.
The narrative jumps right into the action showing a young, committed couple in a serious D/s relationship fulfilling a deep, dark fantasy held by the heroine, Julia. What follows is a balls-to-the-wall, 110 octane thrill-ride of demanding, uber-Alpha Doms, humiliation, objectification, and rough sex. DAYUM.
For a novella length work, there is a LOT of explicit sex, rough use of the heroine, dominance and submission, and general un-fucking-PC-as-you-can-get activity. Heed the warnings in the product descriptions as just the prologue alone (which merely hints at what's to come) is likely to send sensitive sugarkink readers screaming. And that's as it should be.
This is NOT light, fluffy, safeword-approved D/s. This is one couple's blue giant star HOT experiment in sharing the heroine sexually with several other men. And let me make it clear: these are not exactly gentle men -- these are men who know their way around a (very) submissive woman, know what the heroine likes ... and what she needs.
Though Julia is used (holy hell, is she used), and made to do pretty much whatever the men tell her to do, there is still an emotional center to their relationship, a core of love between the heroine and her boyfriend that keeps all of the action anchored, safe. This safety allows the heroine to just let go, experiencing the exhilaration of bringing a deeply held fantasy to life. And what better way is there to do it than with the man she is madly in love with, her cherished Dom?
Based on the strength of this debut, and the fearlessness with which Ms. Savill tackles this subject matter, I am very much looking forward to what she conjures up for us next.
Very highly recommended ... but only for those not faint of heart:)
How many female submissives find being loaned out to other males for sexual servitude hot? Probably many. How many find serving their boyfriend's friends in an afternoon arousing? Based on the numerous stories on Literotic? I would say many. I would also say that some guys find this really hot too.
I personally find this theme sexually arousing and love reading about it. Ms. Savill introduces the reader to Julia. She's been with the same guy, Rob, for three years and their life is enhanced with some kinky fun. Rob has a knack of getting Julia to confess her fantasies so he can make them come true. Julia's latest fantasy is to be a nasty little slut who wants to sexually serve Rob's friends.
Ms. Savill writes with just enough graphic detail to paint a clear picture of Julia's afternoon delight. The cock sucking is good as is the bondage bit. An added taste of face slapping and humiliation cranks up the heat. From a story flow, the tale is fine.
What I would recommend is showing more than telling. While it's nice to understand what Julia is feeling and thinking, at times it was too repetitive. Don't tell me Rob is such a dominant. Frankly, I didn't buy it. He's just a kinky guy into sharing his girlfriend in a gang bang. Nothing Rob did came across as a Dom to me. Or maybe a baby dom who is just learning and feeling it out. Rob did nothing for me. Julia was okay. I didn't really take to either one. Rob came across as cold and unsure - not really in control of the situation. Julia came across as a cock sucking slut who had to convince herself the men who made her pussy drip were dominants. I nearly wanted to yell at her - "Enjoy the moment! Quit with the commentary." Because when I'm submitting, I'm not thinking of all these things. I'm enjoying stopping my mind from racing and letting my body feel. My recommendation for cranking up the heat, show how the sex partners response more than telling us what they are thinking.
This story is for those who enjoy gang-banging girlfriend tropes.
This book is dirty, sexy and will likely offend. Those are the best words I can think of to describe it.
It's Ms. Savill's first book and I was impressed. The quality of writing was good and the scenes were hot. They were explicit and sexy and I'll admit, on the edge in some cases for me, but well done. When I read a story like this, I expect detailed scenes and there's nothing more disappointing than a (for example) spanking that's glossed over in one tiny paragraph. Well, there was no glossing here. Very erotic, very detailed.
It's extreme in humiliation, S/M. Definitely heed the author's warning because she pushes Julia to the very edge and is not gentle with her so if you think you might be offended or upset, you likely will be!
Julia is a young masochist with a secret fantasy, and Rob, her boyfriend is happy to discover and then give Julia exactly what she craves. Together they exploring boundaries and possibilities in a satisfying sexual relationship.
This is a HEA story with a difference, the heroine likes pain, and wants to try a gangbang. If you don’t like this kind of thing don’t buy it! Having said that, it really is a sexy well written story, and for those of us who like to see the extremes of sexual possibilities, it is well worth a read.
Owning Julia starts with a sex scene, continues throughout with one hot sex scene after another and ends after a hardcore domination/submission love session with a sweet love scene. The author does a good job giving the reader a view of what the sub feels and thinks as the story progresses and only at the end reveals the love of her Dom partner to make this an extremely moving story of love within a committed consensual relationship. The author understands the dynamics of a BDSM couple's commitment. This story is not for he faint of heart as real pain is described within the play sessions, especially breast pain toward the end of the story. WOW!
Not sure what to say about his book. I was fully prepared for it to be edgy and more extreme, and it was. Definitely not for the faint of heart!
In my opinion, the story line itself seemed to lack based on the synopsis of Julia struggling to submit to her fantasies. It turned out to be just one big sex scene which is fine, however I anticipated something more. Also, and while this is strictly my preference, I became a little distracted with her lady bits constantly gushing and clenching, I would have preferred more of a variety of terms used.
This book is definitely not for the faint of heart, it is dirty and sexy and most people would be offended; but it was just so GOOD!!
Julia, who is in a D's relationship with her boyfriend Rob, that her darkest fantasy is to service more than one man. Rob being a good Dom gives Julia exactly what she wants. Very well written, I felt pulled into the story, captivated by what was happening and Julia's thoughts and feelings throughout. I especially liked the last chapter with Rob's take after, it really gave these characters a realistic feel for me.
