Hugo, World Fantasy and American Book Award-winning author of novels and comics, including THE BIRD KING, INVISIBLE KINGDOM, and ALIF THE UNSEEN. Co-creator of Ms Marvel. Honorary doctor of letters, Rutgers University. I accidentally started a dutch baby baking cult during quarantine. Not very active on here right now, but often found on Twitter.
Not the best issue in my humble opinion. The short stories felt kinda all over the place. I can see how they relate to each other and (hopefully) the next big story arc, but the stories themselves are very mid, unfortunately.
4 stars. !!!! I thought this series was over but here we are and there's an issue #26 out! I'm so happy because I love this series so much. This particular issue was an anthology and it was pretty good. It's not a necessary addition to the series but it was a good time nonetheless.
Maybe 4.5. This reads more like an annual than a regular issue. The stories are broken up and fragmented, but mostly tie into the beginning and the end. I really dislike Harley with the hideously large bows, but I always enjoy seeing her and Pam together.
A nice anthology issue with a Batman meeting Poison Ivy story that seems akin to something previously released earlier with a different turn of events.
Wilson and Takara take a victory lap but don’t slow down. This multi-creator anthology issue tells some cool, bite-sized stories that both look back and forward on the best Poison Ivy book ever.
