My happy place was living in solitude in my little cabin nestled in the woods.

After spending my childhood in an orphanage, surrounded by others, all I wanted was to be
alone. I had twelve years of silent bliss, then someone—or someones rather—had to come along and ruin it all.

There was something in me that craved these men, and I didn’t understand why. Why did I want them when all they did was turn my whole world upside down? All I knew was I had better figure it out quickly, because another one of my seasonal episodes was on its way. Maybe this time, I wouldn’t spend it alone?

But, did I want that?


*Author's note: this is a novella in the Choose Me OV world. These are new characters, not yet mentioned in any other story. It is MMFM and includes MM and MF scenes.

Hailing from eastern Pennsylvania, R.A. Alyse is a lover of books that feature spicy romance. Although she has a soft spot for why-choose and omegaverse, she has dabbled in a few other sub-genres within her writing. She strives to fill those books with love, spice, magic, and maybe even a knot or two.

R.A. Alyse enjoys searching out yard sales, going bowling or playing games with her kids, and reading in her free time. Her favorite color is purple (any shade!) and her favorite flower is a sunflower. If she isn't hunched over her keyboard, feverishly trying to get more books written, you will most likely find her hanging out with her family and their growing of number of pets.

It was okay, but I think it needed more

I've read all the books in this series. I have been anxiously awaiting the release of this one because the premise excited me so much. I just feel like there were so many kissed opportunities here. It was simply too short for there to be adequate development for what it is. Sorry if that sounds vague. I'm trying not to spoil it for anyone else. I really liked the mentioned cameo of previous book characters, but even that could have been shown to us. There was too much telling and not enough show.

Overall, it was a quick, enjoyable omegaverse, but if you're looking for a well-developed background, plot and characters, this one may not be what you are looking for.

Knotty by Nature (Choose Me Omegaverse) by RA Alyse is a lovely omegaverse novella. Let begin by saying except I would need my immediate family around me the FMC is living a dream life in seclusion. Of course things change when three men arrive. Wait what. Yep that’s what I said, that all makes for an exciting plot and book right there

Haven (FMC) has been living in nature alone for a very long time. Living the dream life of many. Then life changes when Hawke. Jerome and Cody arrive. This juicy little book packs a punch with romance, chemistry and just enough plot. Definitely check it out.

cute

This is a very cute story about Haven discovering who and what she really is. She’s lived alone out in those woods for so long until one day she stumbled across something that smelled so good. Little did she know that would change everything for her. She was so used to her solitude that meeting Jerome and eventually Hawke and Cody, really threw her. I really enjoyed reading about how they fit themselves into her life without trying to change her. Some took a little longer to get on board but there’s always one of those a little slow on the uptake.

It's a what?

Imagine being an Omega and dealing with your heat all alone since you presented. Now imagine you have no idea what an Omega even is nor what your "seasonal episodes" actually are.

This was a very different take on your typical Alpha, Beta, Omega story. Sure Alpha discovered a scent match but he was definitely not ready for the rollercoaster of explaining what was about to happen when her heat came out weeks early while she was walking in the woods.

I enjoyed this short story and its unique way of bringing everyone together.

This is another quick read that leaves you wondering how it's going to end, but not wanting it to. R.A.'s take on a why choose Omegaverse is definitely different from others I've read, including her own previous Omegaverses. I love the way she brought each of her characters to life on the page. There are definitely some happy twists that occur! The naivety of our FMC makes for a unique Omegaverse that is penned quite well and ends with Haven and her men very happy. This is one of those stories that shows me the joy an author gets from giving us stories to devour.

Such a cute book! A different take on an omegaverse with an omega that didn’t know anything about designations! This was a sweet, cute read with a good amount of steam that doesn’t overwhelm the story.

Haven is such a captivating omega for Jerome, Hawke and Cody. They all love her right from the start! Of course, they had some growing pains, but those make the story that much more interesting!

I can’t wait to see what’s next from R.A. Alyse in the Choose Me OmegaVerse! It’s such a great series and this was another fantastic addition!!!

This was a unique omegaverse story. Haven spent the 12 years after leaving the orphanage she grew up in completely alone in the woods. She didn’t really know herself until Jerome fell into her life. After experiencing her first heat with another person, Haven needs time to wrap her head around what happened and what’s she’s learned, so she heads off j to the woods. There, she meets Hawke and Cody, who are so sweet and understanding. Jerome doesn’t want pack life, so it takes a little time for them to get their happily ever after.

This really sweet novella is about an introvert omega who has no understanding of A/B/O designations. It is a story about her finding her pack living in a remote cabin in the woods. Despite being a novella, R.A. Alyse found a way to make these characters so well understood. I couldn’t help but fall in love with all of them. And when her heat hit when they were all together, the steamy scene was just delicious! Read this novella and thank me later!!

SIMPLE BUT FULL OF SWEETNESS

This next installment of the Choose Me Omegaverse is an absolute delight to read and immerse yourself in. I read this book in one sitting because I could not put it down and I fell in love with the characters as I always do with R.A. Alyse's writing. The writing is tantalising and descriptive with emotion and plenty of steam but most of all it leaves you feeling happy. Beautiful characters who grow with each chapter and each other.

Great short read!

Absolutely loved this short about Haven, and finding her new and unexpected pack, although upon meeting them she had no idea what she or they even were. She slowly learns about alpha, omega and betas, as well as packs and how they all work, while coming together themselves! With a bit of spice 😁🔥🔥

Oh my this was a sweet and spicy novella! I loved how the omega was living and had no knowledge of A/B/O designations! There's finding one's pack and the struggles that come with it. The spice was spicy and I loved how you fell in love with all the characters. This was also a good palette cleanser for me and felt refreshing!
