Revenge is best served filthy with someone’s dad…I guess. Peyton has no problem teasing Owen aka Daddy General and he can’t fight their attraction. He gets hooked immediately!
When an incredibly filthy author tones it down slightly it results in filthy sweetness that was just perfection. I want my mmc down-right nasty but at the end of the day he should still be a stand up guy.

I might binged this author 👀 I loved this book, straight to the point of the plot and characters easy to root for with smut scenes not cringy and off-putting.
Simply put, the FMC found out her boyfriend is cheating on her with her best friend. So how did she get back at them? By fucking her best friend’s hot dad 🫦 I don’t care, such a queen behavior 🛐
I love their attitudes over this actually, no excessive push pull, just light drama, satisfying revenge and hot smut scenes.

This was smutty short and sweet.
I really enjoyed it and the forbidden sneaking around.
The only things I didn’t like….
I wish we had confirmation of his celibacy during their separation. It was long… winter break to graduation in the summer. And they did not plan to get back together. Neither pursued a long term relationship. So while I would like to think he was celibate we have ZERO confirmation. That’s a long time for a hot single bar owner who is trying to move on from a girl he can’t have to go without sex.
That leads me to the unexpected pregnancy. Ugh it’s not my jam. Neither were gonna push for more with the other- even if they wanted it- neither fought for a relationship in all those months. So it’s an easy excuse to bring them back together. I wanted them to choose to fight for each other or at least broach the topic before we found out she was pregnant.
I also wanted more comeuppance for her ex and BFF
These three things kinda messed w my star rating cause i wanted a bit more.

This was actually my first B. Sobjakken book I read yesterday! It features accidental pregnancy AND age gap trope, so you know I gravitate towards those tropes in books.
I loved this. It was soft, hot, sweet, romantic... like this book had it ALLLL❤️ Owen is one sweet guy and as soon as he found out Peyton was pregnant with his baby, he dropped everything and came home to her parents so they could meet him and know who he is. By then, Peyton was no longer speaking to the friend, so I enjoyed that it didn't have angsty or intense situations. Even her parents were so nice and easy to love oh my god. Her mom!!! She was so happy for her and approved of the relationship.
50% of the novel is them before pregnancy and the last 50% was the pregnancy journey. I loved all the little things they did after. Owen took care of her at all times, was ready to move to another city, leave his bar behind, treat her like a queen. That man knew he wanted to be with her since day one! He was so obsessed with her and I love seeing that 1000%.
I could see myself rereading so many times through the years just to get that swoony feeling back. I highly recommend it to all the girlies who love the best friend's dad trope, accidental pregnancy, and age gap. You will adore Owen I assure you💋ྀིྀི

I got the ick
I'm not judgy but sometimes she gaps that are too big for my liking give me the ick. Payton was understandably hurt when her boyfriend cheated with her best friend but she was a bit blaze about seducing her best friends father the day she met him... Add to that a week of unprotected sex then not telling him about the baby and it made the "relationship" seem seedy to me rather than a forbidden romance.

This was a fast and steamy read with just a touch of taboo and an unplanned pregnancy storyline that should satisfy readers looking for a shorter binge read that doesn’t skimp on the smut.
There’s cheating, but not between the MCs. The FMC’s boyfriend cheating on her with her best friend is actually the kickoff to the plot, and is what drives the FMC into her bff’s dad’s arms (the MMC). Things are FULLY broken off between the FMC and her ex before the FMC and MMC get together. The FMC wants nothing to do with the ex, and the MMC wants nothing to do with his daughter’s mother, so there’s no underlying drama that significantly affects the plot in that regard.
I don’t think the age gap was ever explicitly written out for both parties (correct me if wrong!) but the FMC is in her early 20s finishing college and the MMC has a daughter the same age, but was young (~18) when she was born.
The pacing of the story lost its way in the back half - I felt some of the reveals weren’t handled in the best, most cohesive way. There was much better development and pacing in the first half.

When Owen arrives at the airport to pick up his daughter and her friend, he approaches a hot younger woman to chat. They have insta-connection and he asks the young hottie out - which is obviously brought to a halt when slutty BFF walks up and introduces them and they realizes this can't happen..... until it does. And it's hot as fuck!!!
Peyton and Owen tear each other up! Thank you!! Peyton gets back at her ex-boyfriend and former friend. As you can tell by the cover pic, there's a baby to come!!!

Finally read this! I really put off potentially reading about the betrayal of her ex & best friend.
Agh, just the thought of ur best friend/partner doing that behind ur back grinds my gears. Like especially the friend. Wdym we’ve been friends FOR YEARS etc and you’d do that. The bf was a pos for sure & BOTH are to blame but I feel like I’d drop the bf (obv) but be more hurt ab my friend. How tf do u look at ur gf/bff in the face doing that shit ???
But it’s ok, FMC got greased and grinded by her ‘best friends’ dad 😝instead!
Anyway. This was enjoyable & short but not my fav of series.

This is a quick forbidden smut read. I believe the series is supposed to have some really uncomfortable/forbidden situations, but this one was pretty tame (from a taboo standpoint) bordering on sweet (relationship dynamic). There’s plenty of smut, and it was the kind of smut I like (a confident h that knows what she wants and is confident enough to get it).
The blurb sets this one up, Peyton has been in a relationship with Jacob since they were young (in college) when she learns he’s been cheating with her childhood best friend, Brit. After confirming their betrayal, she decides to get some for herself and who better than Brit’s super sexy dad, Owen.
Bottom Line- Quick, smutty read between Peyton and Owen. There’s a large age gap (early 40’s to early 20’s) but it’s not super forbidden because there’s really no one opposed to the relationship. Her parents are surprisingly supportive and the ex-bff doesn’t have much to say about it. There’s a small separation, but they aren’t with others. prob one of my favs. Except the cover is too much to explain.

This is a novella, so the romance was pretty insta-lust-y, but I still think the hero is sweet and considerate enough to be believable she fell for him.
Her, I'm a bit less certain. I didn't particularly see why he would fall for her apart from the amazing sex. However, I didn't hate her character.
My only issue would be that I've come to expect B. Sobjakken's books to have in your face breeding (not a complaint) and this one was more subdued (and yet it has higher ratings, so I'm the weirdo here)

I’ve read most of B. Sobakken's books—even the ones on Eden—and have enjoyed each one. Her books usually pull me out of a slump, and “Depraved Favors” did that. Readers will follow Peyton as she suspects her boyfriend is cheating on her with her best friend. After vacationing with her friend and obtaining further proof of confirmation that cheating did occur, she breaks things off and has a fling with her friend’s father. However, there is flirting and tension between them beforehand.
I liked the story. I like Peyton’s directness and how she handled her boyfriend. The whole story was short and spicy. It includes pregnancy and a little bit of the shmilky shmink.

Don’t let the title or summary fool you. Yes, it’s a novella about the FMC getting revenge by having filthy sex with her best friend’s dad, but it’s also an unexpectedly sweet romance. Peyton and Owen were so cute together, and Peyton’s family was also wholesome and supportive.

This was perfect! The friend's dad part is very well done. Peyton and Owen's connection felt genuine. The spice was high but very "regular" for this author. If you want something to read in one sitting, this is it!

Plot overview: Peyton is in her senior year of college. She’s been with her boyfriend Jacob for 4 years and she’s happy and in love with him but they’ve been struggling a little in the last year because she’s been spending a lot of time with her mom who is battling cancer. Peyton has been best friends with Brit since middle school and considers her a soul mate. A friend from school mentions to Peyton that she’s seen signs of Brit and Jacob acting a little too familiar with each other which causes Peyton to pay more attention and it’s then that she sees the signs. Peyton goes with Brit to visit her dad over winter break and manages to look at Brit’s phone and finds evidence of their cheating. She propositions Brit’s hot dad Owen and they start sleeping together behind Brit’s back. When they leave to go back home, Peyton immediately blocks Jacob and Brit and moves on with her life. Her and Owen keep in touch for a while but eventually she starts to not respond back to him because she knows they can’t be together and she feels like it’s too hurtful to keep in touch with him so much. A few months later, she finds out she’s pregnant but isn’t sure if Owen would want the baby so she doesn’t tell him yet. Brit has always given the impression that Owen was a deadbeat dad but we find out later that Brit’s mom manipulated the situation and basically alienated Brit from her dad. Owen goes to their college graduation and it’s there that he sees Peyton is obviously pregnant and he just knows the baby is his. After confronting her, they both admit to wanting to be together and Owen is all in with the baby and wants to stay for the rest of her pregnancy. HEA ending with them having a son, Owen buys a house and Peyton moves in. Owen and Brit have a tentative agreement to work things out.
My Thoughts: I really liked it! I looooved Peyton and her refusal to feel guilty about anything. Peyton’s parents were amazing, especially her mom. I felt like they had such a good representation of an actual adult child/parent relationship. I hate when books have parents of adults and they spend most of their interactions with the mom scolding her adult child for cursing or talking about sex. Peyton’s mom was so real, this is how I am with my own adult kids. Owen was a sweetheart but we really don’t get much insight into him other than the basics. I really wish this book was longer and could have delved into the drama and character development more. Overall it was a quick, fun read.

Her and Owen keep in touch for a while but eventually she starts to not respond back to him because she knows they can’t be together and she feels like it’s too hurtful to keep in touch with him so much. A few months later, she finds out she’s pregnant but isn’t sure if Owen would want the baby so she doesn’t tell him yet. Brit has always given the impression that Owen was a deadbeat dad but we find out later that Brit’s mom manipulated the situation and basically alienated Brit from her dad. Owen goes to their college graduation and it’s there that he sees Peyton is obviously pregnant and he just knows the baby is his. After confronting her, they both admit to wanting to be together and Owen is all in with the baby and wants to stay for the rest of her pregnancy. HEA ending with them having a son, Owen buys a house and Peyton moves in. Owen and Brit have a tentative agreement to work things out.
My Thoughts: I really liked it! I looooved Peyton and her refusal to feel guilty about anything. Peyton’s parents were amazing, especially her mom. I felt like they had such a good representation of an actual adult child/parent relationship. I hate when books have parents of adults and they spend most of their interactions with the mom scolding her adult child for cursing or talking about sex. Peyton’s mom was so real, this is how I am with my own adult kids. Owen was a sweetheart but we really don’t get much insight into him other than the basics. I really wish this book was longer and could have delved into the drama and character development more. Overall it was a quick, fun read.

This book is the least "immoral" work of B. Sobjakken. Definitely not as filthy as her other books, instead we got a slice of life kinda romance. I still enjoyed it. The only thing that irked me was the drama surrounding Brit. Ugh! I hate her. 🤬 Hence, the 4⭐️ instead of 5.

Let me preface this with the fact that I will read anything B. Sobjakken writes!!! OMG she is one of my fave authors! Her books are so well written and so nice and spicy! This is a huge age gap - best friend's father. There is cheating in this book, but not between the H and h. Peyton, a college student with a serious boyfriend finds out he is cheating - with her best friend. Ugh.... This is how she deals with it....you know they always say the best way to get over someone is to get under someone else....well why not with said 'best friend's' dad, Owen, who is smoking hot!!

If B writes it, I slam everything else down and read it. I really enjoyed this one, and although it wasn't as chaotic or vengeful as some of her others, we still got to live on some high drama.
Peyton and Owen are truly sweet, but that didn't take away from the spicy moments. Owen was in a different space in his life but he also found someone who wanted to do life with him.
