J.D. Glasscock started as a slam poet on national teams in 1990. Six years later, he moved on to be the singer/songwriter/frontman of a blues rock band called Sofa King, which lasted ten years. Though he still writes both lyrics and poetry, in 2005, he moved on to studying film writing and directing with a special emphasis on lighting, specifically, noir lighting. He moved to Los Angeles in 2010 to finally pursue those aspirations. He is the Alan Bailey Award winner for Excellence in the Craft of Filmmaking - Noir, at the Action on Film Festival 2015. He currently has 16 short films to his name and has won numerous awards as a filmmaker at large festivals. His current goals include his two TV series, Celestial Moon, and The Mysfits, as well as his first feature, A God Among Sheep -- The Rise of Maria Salvatore. He has four other feature film scripts written in different genres -- Western, Sci-Fi, Post-Apocalyptic, and Suspense Thriller. He and his company Stormcrow Productions also have an Adult Visual Novel Video Game – A Crown of Thorns – based on the IP of his feature film script Blade n Blood which already has a store page on Steam. He moved to Denton, Texas in 2017 to be near and help his family, and to bring his style of film to North Texas. He is currently focused on his burgeoning career as a LitRPG Novelist. His GrimDark LitRPG series Blood Brothers is now out with its first five books. The first two books of his new series, the Dream, is also out. A Post Apocalyptic Litrpg. You need to spellcheck
I like the books, I like the narrative, but it's clear you've never put this anywhere near a spellchecker.
"pf" instead of "of"?
"bafoon" instead of "buffoon"?
"access" when you meant "assess"
And that's not including the variety of grammatical errors and words that even I couldn't figure out what you meant.
If you aren't going to pay an editor, at least use a spellchecker.

editing needed. badly
There is a serious need for basic editing.
It’s distracting. The story was already tedious in sections and having to parse what you think is intended instead of what is actually written just adds to the tedium.
Walked for this installment. Was disappointed.

Better
Book three is an across the board improvement over book two. The author still gets lost talking to himself sometimes but less than he did in book two. The greater story comes into it's own and progression is made on the small scale in a very satisfying way. Overall a good read.

Good Addition!
Good addition to this series. Interesting MC, and I like the build the author is giving him. I look forward to seeing where the author takes the story in the next book with the cliffhanger at the end.

Cleaner writing than book 1, not as boring as book 2 and setting up an interesting Earth storyline for the next books.
It's not there yet, but this series has a lot of potential. I'm looking forward to the next one.

I wish I hadn't been lazy about writing reviews when I listened to the first two audiobooks 😖🤡 FML... Anyway! Loved this dark crazy setting! I love that Gideon made his own family 🥰 Sherah (?) deserves ALL the loves!!! 🥲

Story is great editing sucks
I love this series but it is rife with the wrong words or words used poorly that it takes from a 4.5 to a 3. Maybe even a 2.5. Also the internal consistency on the spelling of names shows a lack of any kind of editing process as well.
