The Haven folks have known about Georgie and Aiden since they were seven and ten. It takes years of adulthood to get them back in the same town. Georgie is now a successful author and Aiden has spent years as an elite MARSOC warrior. Complicating their reacquaintance are both a lawsuit brought by Georgie's ex and a demented stalker who has waged psychological warfare on Georgie. The road to happy ever after takes some twists, but it does get to them.
