Hello! It's fun to have you here, and I can't wait to share with you the stories I've written. (I think that's my favorite part about being an author is gushing over the books I write with other people!)

With that being said, not only am I an author, but a homeschool mom to four beautiful children, and married to the man who inspires most of the swoony scenes you'll read (insert sigh); which goes to say that I'm happily married and he's the best thing that's happened to me.

Along with writing books, I love art (hence my children's books), photography, trying to new recipes, and going on adventures! (Cruises, hikes, strawberry patches, Disney...you name it! We just recently went to Universal Studios (Harry Potter World) and LOVED it!

I love getting out and exploring the beautiful earth my Heavenly Father has created for me and hope to explore Europe one day. (Gotta see those castles for inspiration ;)

I’m not even sure what the FMC’s real name is. In the audio and in the book itself on Kindle, her name changes between “Tyra” and “Trya”. It’s odd that no one caught that typo that occurs so often.
The audio also changes Raith’s name. I would pronounce it like the word “faith” (rhyming). But the computer generated voice calls him “Ray”, “Rah” and “Raya” 🤦🏻‍♀️. I had to stop and think and remind myself they were talking about Raith.

I like the storyline itself. However, the ending wasn’t great.
I know there is a sequel. I just started A Kingdom Betrayed but I struggle with the character switches. It feels random after reading 95% of the book (A Kingdom On Broken Wings) in the FMC’s pov. At the end, it changes to Raith’s pov.
Now, so far in A Kingdom Betrayed, is in Sylvia’s pov. This might not bother others, which is fine. It’s just a bit of an adjustment for myself.
The ending for A Kingdom On Broken Wings just ended too abruptly imo.
I still plan to finish and hopefully A Kingdom Betrayed has a better ending 🙂.

I wanted to give this a higher review because the story had so much potential, but it was super short so the pacing was quick and missed more details to fully draw you in. Then it ended on a cliffhanger in the middle of the story so it definitely could’ve been one book instead of 2 with more exposition and a drawn out plot.

The storyline for this romantic fantasy was good with a missing Prince who is wanted for murder, a land struggling to live, and a girl who is a healer. I love a good royal trope, an MC in distress, a protective hero, and more. However, the execution of it was a bit lacking. I struggled with the style of writing, and, throughout the book, there were many grammatical and punctuation errors. In addition, the tenses would change randomly from sentence to sentence. It needs an editor to go over it. While I didn’t find the romance completely realistic the entire way through, I have been interested enough in the storyline to continue through to book 2 as this is part 1 of a duology. We finally got the MMC’s perspective as the last chapter of this book, so I’m hoping the next book has both POVs. The romance is just kisses, intimacy level 2.

Interesting

There wasn’t much character or story development. It jumped from strangers to “I love you” very quickly with little actual story. The concept of this story is great. I think the next book will be interesting. But I do hope we see more of the original couple. Also, the formatting of this book was weird.

Otherwise, a quick, sweet read. Looking forward to read the next book.

YA Fantasy with a little Romance.
Their whole realm believes that the crown prince is on the run for the murder of his father their king when a poor healer happens to hear his cries from deep inside the cave. Her magic pulls her to him where she helps to heal his injuries and escape his captives despite her better judgment. And that is just the beginning of this tale.

Okay

Slow paced. Many many typos and grammatical errors. The main character's name changed numerous times. I'm still not even sure what her real name is. The main characters did not have any personality and fell in love instantly which did not make it believable.

3.5 stars. A few grammatical errors, but way less than usual. Overall quite nice. A bit rushed and the characters seem too good to be true, but compared to the author's previous books this is majestic.

This book was pretty fast paced but I thoroughly enjoyed it. My heart swelled with all the emotions, but the betrayal at the end got me. I hope Tyra and Raith will get their happily ever after once everything is all over!

Romance and Political Intrigue

I liked the story, and the pacing was well written. The concept of the ruler being tied to the health and vitality of the kingdom was a fun concept that was executed well.
