With the end of a life of parties and drinking came the end of all of Ashley's friendships and the life she had always known. All Ashley has is her little sister, who seems to have a perfect life, only showing off what a mess Ashley's life is, and Chrystal, who is the groundkeeper at a cemetery and a fellow recovering alcoholic.

Though Ashley knows her sister is always there for her, she also knows she will never understand because she will never let her know the secrets of their past. Chrystal is the only person Ashley trusts with every part of herself, no matter how scared those parts may be.

Even though she is managing to continue her sobriety, Ashley finds that her life is going nowhere. Only after a serious incident at work does she realize it's time she stops letting everyone walk on her, that it's time to be the bitch she used to be. For the first time, she is taking control of her life.

Gallagher Green was born and raised in rural Kansas, USA. with the freedom to learn and build whatever was interesting to them at that moment. They were encouraged to learn the skills needed to build or repair, to learn the knowledge to answer their questions, and to ask more.

After years of asking themself hypothetical questions that seemly had no answer, they started answering the questions in the only way that made sense... by writing the answers in the form of stories.

With this, they started their career as an author. A career they had never intended on. But now hope their stories will help answer the questions their readers have in their lives, in the same way other authors have helped them answer their questions.

1 ⭐ - There wasn't really a plot, everything was super slow-paced and a lot f bombs and c*nts.

Having read this author's other books, I was looking forward to his newest novel. I was not disappointed. Welcome to the life of Ashley, a young woman you will fall in love with. Ashley has issues; she has had a rough time so far in her life. But in her no-nonsense way, she is ready to tackle her problems. Will she overcome her demons? I am not going to tell you, but I will tell you that you will love this book. Once again, Gallagher Green has delighted me with his writing. Check out this book; you won't regret it. If you haven't, check out the author's other novels; they are all amazing.

This was a fast-paced book. I have not read anything by this author until now. The main character is harsh, so if you can't handle swearing and abruptness, it will be hard for you. I enjoyed it even though I read to get away from reality, for the most part, and this one is sad with how real it is.
