This was an interesting read, the characters have an air of disturbance all the way through but when they really lose the plot they lose it relentlessly. This book has a bit of psychological and body horror so be aware. The author does have a trigger warning at the start so you really shouldn't be surprised by it. I think Greed was my favourite. The dichotomy was interesting to read. the overarching story of God's weapon child and "Sloth" being one of Satan's creations helping the child is interesting foreshadowing. very little is revealed about this bigger picture plot - just teasers. I am curious to see how that develops in future books
This was dark and deep, and I found myself enjoying Echoes of Damnation so much. I love the take Claire has chosen to portray the story of Lucifer and the seven deadly sins.
This is a story of possible redemption, forbidden love, and a quest to answer an age-old question: could everyone be redeemed if they chose to repent?
If you enjoy darker stories and a different approach to stories we think we know, give The Echoes of Damnation a chance; I am sure you will devour this book.
An edge dark fantasy tale interweaving religious stories and fantastical myth, with horrific monsters and some human (or near human) characters who are no better - I really enjoyed this book and if you like stories of friendship, romance and gore, give this a go! A great example from a wonderful up and coming author.
