Fake love ?

I was here for the fake dating turns real trope, but the execution not so much. 

The first chapter of this book read terribly. I had to read it twice because the MMC was Graycen, but the voice they used made it seem like he was Simone, but in fact he was talking about her.. 🥴

This book was fast paced, which I don't mind if it's done right. Graycen was a low key lover boy that had been flopping from heaux to heaux after a bad breakup with his ex. Needing to get his life together before it impacted his soccer career he decided to get a "fake girlfriend." However, he was immediately enthralled by this red haired beauty Camille. The characters were likeable, but not believable. The author struggled with creating interactions where we could actually FEEL them fall instead of read about it. The connection did not jump off the page. 

Lastly, I hate third act breakups in general but this one was heavily unnecessary. If you gone do it, let the reason be worth the fallout. Overall, it was a subpar read with some likeable moments.

I love a fast paced novella! Like let’s get down to the nitty gritty of it all! Briyanna Michelle did that for meeee!

Fake dating usually isn’t a preferred trope of mine but I feel like it was cool in this book. The chemistry was on point. The communication was great. The spice was spicing. And it was just enough drama. It was everything you need in a novella!

Can’t wait to read the next brother!

I’m honestly gonna give 2.5. It was a cute fake dating/ workplace sports romance novella. It was easy to follow but I wasn’t totally in love with the story and characters. But this is a good reading refresher in between reads.

It was Cute

Overall it was cool but nothing that made me smile hard or get excited about. The first chapter had me a little confused. Then mixed with some of the time jumps and different topics/tropes i kind of didn’t know what was going on. However, i love fake dating and Camille was very adorable. Greyson you can tell had a good heart and that showed during the family scenes which i enjoyed. There was some chemistry it just didn’t blow me away. Third act breakups are not my thing especially when it’s miscommunication.

So if you need a quick break in between reads i say check this out.

Camille and Graycen’s story was so cute to watch and witness, I usually don’t care for the fake dating trope, however, this was done so well!
My only complaint is that I wish it was longer so I can have more of Cami and Gray!

Maybe I Need You: Undeniably In Love by Briyanna Michelle is a cozy, quick and engaging fake dating romance story. I really liked the MMC, Graysen, he's definitely book bae material. The FMC Camille starts off just okay to me but through her relationship with the MMC, we really get to see her character grow and shine. I love the diversity of the characters, too. The author does a great job at building the connection between Graysen and Camille, despite the fast pace of the story and its shorter length. Briyanna Michelle did a great job with Maybe I Need You and I recommend it to anyone looking for a fast paced palate cleanser. Though this is my first book from Briyanna Michelle, I can say that I'd definitely read more books from her in the future based on Maybe I Need You: Undeniably In Love.

The story flowed so well , I instantly fell in love with Graycen , Braylin & Donavan The triplets 🥰 I also loved how Briyanna included several successful black characters and had a healthy family dynamic 🤗Graycen & Camille was so cute together! They both experienced some trauma from their past relationships unfortunately but the great thing is they found their way to each other! It seems like they kept running into each other back to back so this love was destined to be 🥰 Briyanna did such an amazing job on the storyline and I hope to see More from the triplets in the future 💚💚💚💚💚

Miss briyanna you did that. I love everything about this story. From the characters, to the side characters, to the spice , to the plot. Camilla was so me. Not only in looks but in personality too. I just loved everything about this book. Great job. Definitely should read. The only thing is I wish it was longer.

Quick lil romance <3

I wanted to read something that wasn’t over whelming with excessive inner dialogue and over explaining things and this was the perfect short romance for that. It kind of took me back to my wattpad reading days with the fake dating to real love trope. I thought it was a cute story.

I’m not gonna lie.. I’m not usually a big fan of the “fake dating” trope but the way this was donnne?? MUAH, chefs kiss!


When I tell you they gotta STRAIGHT TOOOO IT! Lol I’m not lying. I loved the dynamic between the two and I loved how Graycen and Cami kind of settled eachother out. The pacing of it was also nice! Usually novellas seem either a little too fast or a little too slow but this was a good mix. I enjoyed their story and THE BANTER! TEA.

Overall such a cute and quick read and defly would recommend! Thank you to the Briyanna for this ARC!

I think I just gained another book boyfriend, Graycen. This is a fast paced novella that draws you in from the first page. I loved how the story was written with both MMC (Graycen) and FMC (Camille) coming from healthy loving homes. A 10 week fake relationship that blooms into true love. For a minute I thought Camille and Graycen wasn’t going to make it. When Simone popped up, I just knew she had came between Graycen and Camille. This was my first read from Briyanna Michelle but certainly won’t be my last. I enjoyed reading Graycen and Camille love story.

This was such a sexy, sweet, meaningful read. The main character Graycen is a hot shot soccer player who has a reputation about himself. This reputation is over shadowing the team and causing unwanted pressed. Which brings us to Camille who is a brilliant photographer who has is trying to piece her life together and hopefully get her big break in the sports photography business. She jsut so happens to get a job with Graycens soccer team and is presented with an idea to fake date Graycen in order to get the press off of him.

Now we all know with this fake dating group usually the two end up falling for each other, but there is so much more to this story. The love and experiences that these two share are what help to strengthen their bond and allow them to see that what they both were missing was each other. I obviously is going to leave you guessing on a lot because you need to experience this beautiful story love.

This is my first read by the Author Briyanna, i have been following her for a while, and book 2 coming out I was like let me get into it.

A soccer player and a photographer? love this immediately. this is book one and the younger brother of 3 Greycen. Greycen is trying to beat the playboy persona real bad, he is like i'm going to move into a regular appt, drive a regular car, and stay away from all the girls so he can focus on his career. that quickly changed when he went out to the bar, and saw this beauty on the dance floor. After a little awkward introduction, they took " love in the club" literally.

the FMC Camille, has been harassed by paparazzi after her split from her EX, and she is just trying to get her dream job as a sports photographer.
When their night in the club goes viral, Greycen quickly presents the idea for them to "fake date" mutually benefiting them both but was it fake?

Greycen did all the right things ok, he uplift her, prayed with her, showed up consistently, and takes her to cloud 9 every chance he got. This had spice, quick pace and I ENJOYED it.

I was given this as an ARC. Theres not really anything negative I can say about this story outside the face that I am so upset that this book was not longer! They deserve 300+ pages because I could really use more of them. Graycen is just amazing. Camille is an FMC that I could root for. I want more of them making those damn exes jealous, exploring each others minds and bodies, and interacting with the family because those brothers I wouldn’t mind more of. This is a beautiful story all around. She did her thing with this one I definitely recommend.

Cute and hopeful read.

Graycen is tired of his ex stalking him, knowing that God has shown him the type of love he is deserving of.

Camille is done with her cheating ex and has vowed to never date another celebrity. That is until a star soccer/football player lays eyes on her on the dance floor.

Safe to say that fake dating to get past the nasty blog stories written about them both led to something so much greater than they could’ve expected.

Let’s just say that Graycen is the type to affirm you in the best ways. Camille is the type to pour out love even when her mind tells her she’s too afraid.

Now I'm not a girly thats into sports romance but I would say this was a quick cute read. It was like love at first sight when Graycen laid eyes on Camille for the first time. He was not letting up off her. I loved how he spoke confidence into her and made her see her worth. Need more men like that. Camille was too cute. I hate how she always doubted herself but Graycen in her corner the doubt didn't last long. The chemistry was there and there was also some spice 🌶️🌶️.

If you looking for a short cute sports romance read this would definitely be up your alley.

Graycen and Cam made fake dating so easy that they forgot their own rule #7 not to fall in love well that didn’t take long 🥴😂😫🤷🏽‍♀️. Graycen ex and Cam ex was on a whole another level of craziness! This is the first book that I read by this author, and let's just I'm a fan.

I enjoyed getting to know Graycen. He was sweet and oh so lovable. He wanted what his parents had....a love to withstand the test of time.

Seeing Camille dancing by herself in the club took his breath away. He couldn't even speak when she spoke to him. He was so taken with her that he came up with a plan to get into a fake relationship.

Rules were set, but as always, rules fall by the wayside. Gray caught feelings, and there you have it. This a beautiful story of finding a love for a lifetime.

I love a good fake dating trope and this was no exception. Camille and Graycen were both looking for love in the wrong places after experiencing long-term partners who were manipulative and abusive both during and post their relationships. Being in the center of gossip in the sports world led them to each other and finding love. I will say this was good, but it felt a little fast paced towards the end and of course I wanted more lol. If you want to read a quick fake dating sports romance that has little bit spice and a touch of drama, this is the one for you.

Omg, I really love & enjoy this book so much. I love Graycen and Camille's chemistry in this story from fake dating to real deal dating. Graycen is definitely book bae boyfriend and I love how he encouraged Camille when she's self doubt herself through anything. I can't stand Simone bitter ass throughout the story, but her karma caught up on her ass unexpected at the end. I can't wait to read book two of the series.

4.5 ⭐️. Fake dating trope but Graycen was standing on business about Camille since day one. Graycen is a soccer playing tryna clean up his image while Camille is a photographer tryna to gain her own image without her ex. Short read with some drama but I thought it was cute. No extra beating around the bush. Recommended. The only thing I dislike is no epilogue. Hope to see some update in the next book.
