I thoroughly enjoyed reading this memoir. It is a fascinating look into the career of a little-known but vital branch of the U.S. Navy, that of its weathermen. Mr. Krieger gives us an in-depth look at the different steps into rising in rank and great anecdotes of the different ports around the world that he went to. It is a great read for anyone interested in the military.
