Mariah is hiding her pregnancy, and she has to attend her mother's wedding. She really doesn't want to go alone. She needs a man to accompany her to get her mother to back off. Her brother suggested Charlie, her boss, should take her to the wedding.
Charlie is Mariah's boss and has a thing for her. At first, he's trying to keep his distance until he reaches a point where he can no longer deny the pull between them.

Mariah and Charlie
Alone and pregnant is not how Mariah expected her life to be, yet here she is. Alone pregnant and very needy with no relief in sight. She also needs a date to her Mother's wedding so she can have a buffer and as much as she thinks her boss Charlie is amazing she knows mixing work with pleasure is not a good idea but Charlie rescues her anyway and 1 thing leads to another.

Loved it
I loved reading about Mariah and Charlie. Mariah is pregnant and works for Charlie. Only she invited him as her plus one to her moms wedding. One tiny flaw in the plan. Will he want a pregnant hormonal woman as a date? What if he wants more? It was a wonderful story.

Trouble
Who needs self help books when you find your soulmate? He escorts her to her mother's wedding and I enjoyed the way he told her mother off. Then to have them confess their feelings for each other was the beginning of their HEA.

Great short story!
After I got over the shock of the first book I had to find out what happens with the other brothers! Great storyline and loved how he handled her mom!
