When a holiday tradition turns into the blind date of a lifetime...

Iris has always had two constants in her life.
Her best friend Emmaline, and Iris's crush on Emmaline's older brother Rhett. With Christmas looming, Iris has spent weeks preparing for her and Emmaline's annual tradition. Two Single Girl's Christmas Party. Just two best friends dishing about their lives, eating cookies, drinking eggnog and watching Hallmark movies until they can't stay awake any longer.

Until Emmaline cancels at the last minute...only to provide a surprise substitute.

Iris has no idea who's coming in Emmaline's place, but surely the party will be just as fun as always. Right?

Rhett is going to kill his sister for sending him in her stead to this stupid, girly Christmas party. At least he was...until he realized just who he was going to be spending the evening with.

Holiday miracles must truly exist because suddenly Emmaline seems less of a pest and more of a genius...and Iris looks like she might finally be ready to fall into his arms...exactly where she's always belonged.

Sweet, heartwarming and full of swoony moments, this story is for fans of Rachel Hannah, Elana Johnson, Hope Holloway and Rachael Bloome!

A wonderful, quick read to love.
This is a very quick read but just what you need this time of year. Iris has had a crush on Rhett, her best friend’s brother, for years. But if she was to act on her feelings and it didn’t work out what happens to her friendships with Rhett and his sister Mia. Unknown to Iris, Rhett has had a crush on her for years but is afraid to act on it. Mia who is aware of the situation decides to take matters into her own hands. Mia sends Rhett to replace her at the Mistletoe Party, something she and Iris have been doing for twelve years. Can Rhett handle a girls party and will anything come of it? Such a great story. I received an early copy and this is my honest review.

Iris and Rhett have had secret crushes on each other for years now but because of Rhett’s sister Mia, who is Iris’s best friend, they have hidden their feelings for each other. Mia does some sneaky matchmaking and helps to bring them together. I especially love the boat quote Rhett says and how it relates to so many other aspects of life. I received a copy of the book for free and this is my own opinion about it.

This is one of the shortest books I have read but I am amazed the way the story was spun! Laura Ann was able to keep the story interesting and relevant from start to finish. I actually was sad when I realized that the book was coming to an end but the entire story was told! I love it! Two thumbs up!

Precious

I enjoyed this fun story about a pair of long time crushes being pushed together. I enjoyed the fun of the party especially the pedicures.

Oh, my goodness, I loved this book. Secret crushes and on the best friend's brother are one of my favorite tropes. Iris and Mia have a single girls Christmas party every year. This year Mia sends a substitute - she is one sneaky bf and sister. The author did an amazing job of letting us hear both Iris and Rhett's thoughts about each other. This one made me laugh out loud several times and swoon over how sweet their interactions were. Would love to read a book about Mia.
