Herbatka z braćmi Moriarty.
Po końcówce historii Moriarty the Patriot spotykamy się na nowo z bohaterami, tym razem podczas odwiedzin starej rezydencji w Durham jeden z braci Moriarty Louis, dzieli się niektórymi historiami z przeszłości całej grupy.
Jezu, nie spodziewałam się, że znów zakocham się w nich, ale to było ode mnie silniejsze Moran jak zawszę daje czadu a w połączeniu z Williamem to dosłownie mieszanka wybuchowa. I jak można zapomnieć o historii z Jackiem, wiecie jak dawno nie widziałam braci w dzieciństwie ?? Oni są tacy słodcy, rozpłynęłam się. Nie mówiąc już o sprycie Williama i determinacji Louisa oraz Alberta każdy z nich się uzupełnia na swój kryminalnie nie moralny sposób i to właśnie uwielbiam w tej serii. A Helena, och, Liam ma duszę nie zapominajcie o tym.
Cieszę się na taki dodatek, uwielbiam serię MTP więc dużo nie potrzebowałam żeby sięgnąć po te osobnę historię. Mam nadzieję, że kolejne tomy będą tak cudowne jak ten.

Je n’ai lu ni le manga principal ni vu l’anime mais est ce que ça m’a empêché de me plonger dans ce spin off? La réponse est non. Bien entendu ça ne m’a pas empêché de comprendre ce que je lisais. C’était vraiment passionnant et maintenant ça me donne encore plus envie de découvrir le manga et l’anime! Il va falloir que je m’y mette vite d’ailleurs. J’ai vraiment adoré ma lecture et j’ai pris beaucoup de plaisir à découvrir ces personnages et toutes ces petites histoires.
William et le « clan Moriarty » visitent l’ancien manoir Moriarty à Durham, aujourd’hui à l’abandon. Ils y retrouvent le ‘journal d’enquêtes » que Louis a tenu pendant des années, dans lequel il a consigné diverses affaires parmi les plus chères à son cœur : comment William s’amusait avec les techniques de Moran pour tricher aux cartes, ou le dangereux « test » que les trois frères ont dû passer quand ils ont demandé à Jack l’éventreur de les prendre comme disciples.
Comme je le dis un peu plus haut, j’ai adoré ma lecture. Et même si je n’ai pas lu le manga principal, ça ne m’a pas empêcher une seule seconde de bien tout comprendre. Forcément il doit y avoir des petites choses à côté desquelles je suis passée mais ça n’empêche pas la compréhension. J’ai vraiment adoré chacune des petites histoires. Ce que j’ai le plus aimé c’est le personnage de Moriarty, j’ai tellement aimé le voir faire ses réflexions. Le voir penser de cette manière pour arriver à tout deviner c’était fascinant à voir. J’ai vraiment adoré ce côté mystère. J’ai hâte de me plonger dans la suite pour voir la finalité de la dernière histoire de ce tome ci! Je la trouve hyper intéressante et j’ai hâte de voir comment elle va se terminer surtout. Cette lecture m’a vraiment donné envie de découvrir le manga principal ainsi que l’anime!

Les histoires sont assez longues et sont bien développés mine de rien donc ça passe. C’était très plaisant de voir William mener ses petites enquêtes comme ça. La façon qu’il a de penser est fascinante, il remarque tous les petits détails c’est dingue! Hâte de lire la suite en tout cas!

Truly cannot get enough of these dudes. 🥹🫰
This is a fun little spin off where we see some old cases the Moriarty brothers had. First we have William helping Moran in a poker game then we have the story about how they got Jack to agree to train them, then we have the beginning of a hostage situation at a department store.
They were all so entertaining and it was such a perfect showcase of William being smart as fuck. Also he's such a girldad it kills me?? He's so sweet with kids and it's literally the cutest ever. 🥺

I'm in love.
I loved those little stories that were hidden inside Louis' journal. I particularly enjoyed the one about the one staring Moran.
The way Liam used faith in order to provoke cockiness in his oponent, was just stunning. It allowed him to drive the man over the edge, which caused him to lower his guard. Once the guard was lowered, the cheater didn't notice how Fred in disguise handed the cards.
I was on the edge of my seat, reading the manga. I can't wait to put my grabby little paws on another volume.
