Edit (8/21/24): After reading Cujo I revisited this story, and I'm glad that I did.
Cujo, as I stated in my recent review (https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...) was much bigger than I had remembered. The intimate personal details of the characters and how everything came together in this horrible, ugly, mess that was a rabid dog is such an incredible read. Being able to then jump ahead an entire lifetime and visit Vic Trenton. Being a witness to the obvious and significant impact that Cujo has on another life in turmoil is everything.
