The token female issue really bugs me in the Madagascar story. Because lemurs are matriarchal, not patriarchal. So King Julian and his two lemur pals? Totally bogus.

It was okay, it was basically just the first sene of the movie in book form so it wasn't anything exciting. But the nephews enjoyed it.
