told myself i was only going to read spooky, thriller, horror, murder mystery books this month, but when stephanie alves drops a book, i HAVE to read it.

i feel so complete after reading this book, this series even. i just can’t believe it’s over!!! i need more aiden x leila & gabi x chris content forever.

i don’t even have enough proper words to explain how this series makes me feel, and how happy i am after reading this little “time-skip”. i just, UGH, if i could re-read something for the first time again, it would be this series.

This was such a cute and lovely way to wrap up the series.

I loved that this was set over a very short period of time and that we got to see from every couple and every characters POV.
I loved seeing what they were up to, where they were in life generally, and how their stories may continue.

I loved that all couples were at different stages and that every couple had something happen aback revealed during this weekend timeline.

It was such a lovely way of wrapping up this series!! Would definitely recommend this series if you want a quick, easy, spicy college romance with an amazing friend group/ found family at its core.

(You cannot read this as a standalone. If you want to read this, you need to read the 4 books prior to this)

I’m so grateful to Stephanie Alves for giving us The Final Game, a novella that beautifully wraps up the Campus Games series! It’s bittersweet knowing this is the last time I’ll see these characters, but I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect goodbye. Getting to see all the couples together in one book felt like the ultimate reunion, bringing warmth, laughs, and all the feels.

This novella had everything I love—sweet moments, steamy chemistry, and just the right touch of nostalgia. Each couple’s story was wrapped up so well, with plenty of spice and love that had me grinning all the way through. And though I didn’t get to see Rosie and Grayson’s engagement on the page, I know they’re off somewhere enjoying their happy ending, which just feels right!

The Final Game is a must-read for fans of the Campus Games series—a cozy, satisfying send-off that will definitely stay with me. It’s the perfect novella to revisit whenever I want to relive the magic!

*Possible spoilers ahead*

I have read all of the Campus Games books and I even had the chance to ARC read two of them so this novella was such a bittersweet and perfect ending to this series

They're all back together 5 years later for Gabi and Chris' wedding and we get to see a glimpse where all the couples are in their lives.

Rosalie & Grayson:
Their part of the story is that Grayson is finally ready to propose to Rosalie. He's been waiting because Rosalie is taking off in her career and hasn't wanted to steal her spotlight. Rosalie ends up finding the engagement ring but doesn't say anything to Grayson until he figures it out that she knows. He's sad that she found the ring but lets her know that he's proposing soon and can't wait to make her his wife. I just wish we got to read about the proposal. At the end, we see the family tree which shows that they had a little boy together.
“Fine, just make sure Rosie’s home early. I can’t sleep without her,” I admit.

Leila & Aiden:
Their part of the story is that Lelia is 37 weeks pregnant with their second child. Leila's insecurities start to show because Aiden is an NBA superstar and people just completely ignore her. She knows that Aiden loves her but sometimes it's hard for her. Aiden lets her know that his mom has reached out, she's sober, and he wants to know how she would feel about him seeing her. And Leila just wants to give Aiden the family that he deserves and loves him. Her water ends up breaking and she gives birth to their second daughter. At the end, we see the family tree which shows that they have two girls and a boy.
“I’m grateful every day for that spin the bottle game back in college or else I would have never known what true happiness would be like.”

Madeline & Lucas:
Their part of the story lets us see that while they love their life, they have great careers and are building their dream home. But they can't get pregnant and they so desperately want to be parents. They haven't told anyone except their families that they can't have children (so when being asked when they are having kids it hurts them) and while they are happy for their friends, they start to lose hope that they'll get pregnant or get a call from the adoption agency. They had decided a while ago that they were going to adopt and during the wedding, they received the call that there was a baby for them. At the end, we see the family tree which shows that they have a boy and a girl.
“We’re going to have a baby,” he confirms. “You’re going to be a mom.” “And you’re going to be a dad."

Gabriella & Christopher:
Their part of the story is the wedding. Their day is finally here and they're both so nervous and so excited to finally be married since they have loved each other since they were kids. Their wedding is beautiful and Gabi keeps asking Chris if he wants kids and would be okay with it (due to their home life as children), where he lets her know that he would love to have kids with her but he understands if she doesn't (due to their home life as children), and as long as he has her, he's happy. the night after their wedding (the night before they leave for their honeymoon) the group is back together and plays a game of two truths and a lie where Gabi reveals that she is pregnant to Chris. At the end, we see the family tree which shows that they have a girl and a boy.
“I’ll have you any way possible, as long as you’re mine.” “I always have been,” she replies, her eyes shining. “Since I was twelve.” “And I was always yours.”

"The Final Game" is available now and it is the perfect ending to the Campus Game series.

Everything was perfect and happy and sweet and steamy obviously.. the only thing nagging me was we didn't get the part I wanted the most, the proposal, of Grayson and Rosie and I'm a little too disappointed about that. They were the first and they didn't get married or had kids or even engaged untill the very end, when everyone else had everything. That was kind of too rude of the author. They could have been atleast engaged, for god's sake, it was 9 freaking years. I could practically feel the sadness and the nagging feeling that Rosie must have felt. There is no explanation for that much due. And author had the guts to give a family tree at the end of the series without as much as an epilogue !!? How am I supposed to imagine everything with only the names. I loved the author untill the very end but I also hate her for this. This was too much.

P.S. : I abruptly, in the middle of the 2nd chapter of this book, realised it was my 99TH freaking book. I can't even describe the feelings associated with that number and the progress as well, obviously. I miss Vini too much I guess. We must have laughed just by hearing that number.

I'm not going to say much about this book. It is an overall summary of the lives of our 4 couples, taking place 5 years after the end of Truth or Dare. The whole book really takes place over an extended weekend leading up to the wedding of Gabi and Chris. The sections of the book go in order of release from the original series (Rosie, Leila, Madi, and then Gabi). It is beautiful to see how these incredible women found their HEA with their soulmates and created their own families with each other.

I loved all four couples but my favorite still remains Chris and Gabi. Chef's kiss.

My only comment is that maybe the book was a bit rushed (in publishing it) because there are a few typos throughout the book. Other than that, it's a perfect ending. Congrats Stephanie Alves

Oh goodness, gracious!
Can I just say how much I enjoyed reading this book and finding out the ending of all four couples like talk about genius? 🥹!
I could have not been excited to read the ending of the series never have I ever. I really love the fact that the ending for each couple was exactly what I thought it would be out to be. I couldn’t have been any happier for each couple.🥹
And let me just say… the 🌶️🌶️🌶️ with each couple?! *chef’s Kiss* I just couldn’t 😭!
Like excuse me Grayson and Rosie.. 👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀, dirty dirty dogs 🌶️🔥
I will say, though I had to rate the book a four out of five only because I just found that as much as I’d like Gabby and Christopher, Gabby was just a little too much with her wedding and I just felt like it was kind of just a drag, hearing her about her wedding a lot and everything although I know it takes place at her own wedding, but it was just.. I don’t know. It was so hard for me to enjoy the fact that it was just only based around her wedding.
Over all it was a good book!

I cried every second of reading this🫠 This series has been my whole heart for the longest time.
They have a great place in my heart because I started them when I was starting to read again. I was starting my Booktok account to share my love for books with everyone. So the fact that these books were one of the first ones I read and fell in love with makes them even more special.

This Novella was amazing. Every story about every couple was absolutely beautiful and I hope it wouldn’t be the end. I hope these characters actually existed to be able to know about their lives in the future. ❤️‍🩹

Thank you Stephanie for gifting the world with one of the most amazing series ever written. You’re one of the most talented and kind people I know, and I genuinely don’t know what I would’ve done if you hadn’t written Spin the bottle🥹 Thank you for giving the world the gift of Rosie and Grayson, Leila and Aiden, Madi and Lucas, Gabi and Chris❤️‍🩹 Thank you so much.

Finally, I finished my journey. I really want to cry. I cannot believe that I finished the series completely.

Frankly, I was a special reader for the sake of Laila and Aiden, so the two have a special place in my heart. I hope to find a person like Aiden in my life.

His love for Laila was everything really I know that this may be a bias for this couple, but I really love them very much.

Of course, I love the rest of the couples , but laila&Aiden are my favorite couples. I cannot overcome their love for each other and how their family is cute.

Aiden's love for Laila was everything He really didn't care about anything except her, Of course, every couple has what distinguishes it, but I am not sorry for my distinguished love for Laila&Aiden and their extinguished daughters, I loved how every couple got his end, I loved how Every one of the four young men loves his wife in his own way, everything was really special in the book and I am happy because I finished it.

The final book in Stephanie Alves’ series was such a sweet send-off! I loved seeing all the couples come back for one last round, with plenty of fun, spice, and heartfelt moments.

Not every scene felt totally necessary, and ngl, I skimmed some pages instead of reading them but I’m still so happy they all stayed true to their characters—it felt like catching up with old friends.

Final couple ranking:
🥇 Leila & Aiden (forever obsessed 🫶)
🥈 Gabi & Chris (literally made for each other)
🥉 Rosie & Grayson (perfect example of “only smiles for her”)
🎖️ Madeline & Lucas

Final book ranking:
🥇 Spin the Bottle
🥈 Never Have I Ever
🥉 Truth or Dare
🎖️ Would You Rather

All in all: loved it, lived it, 4 stars!

Ok, so I've finished the Campus Games... I can't believe it, I read Spin The Bottle at the end of last year bc of a reel or tiktok (not sure which one) and I wanted or maybe needed to read something about a person with a body like mine and I loved it soooo much (it's still my fav) and this year when I found out there were more books of this I knew I'd read them but I wasn't expecting this at all. I connected more with a few, but just bc I felt more related but I have to say that this girls and this boys (OMG I'm in loved, even more higher standards) are so amazing! The way you can see along each book how they heal their wounds and they do their best to be better for themselves AND for their loved ones. I really loved this whole world and I think this is the best "happy ending" for all of them.

I really, really recommend The Campus Games if you want something easy to read, something funny but with little touches of sadness (let's say)

I rate this book a 3 out of 5. While it served as a solid conclusion to the series, I felt there were significant gaps in the narrative. Key details, such as whether Grayson proposed to Rosalie or if Madeline eventually became pregnant, were left unresolved, leaving the ending feeling rushed and incomplete.

Although the overall storyline was engaging, the lack of closure on these important plot points detracted from the satisfaction of the conclusion. A more thorough exploration of these elements would have provided a stronger and more fulfilling ending to the series.

The Final Game was a cozy reunion with the Campus Games crew that gave me plenty of fanservice and warm, nostalgic moments, but it didn’t fully land for me as a standalone — it relies heavily on knowing the characters’ pasts. I enjoyed catching up with everyone, the proposal and wedding scenes were sweet, and there were some emotionally meaningful beats, but the pacing felt rushed at times and a few plot threads skimmed the surface instead of diving deep. If you love the series, it’s a rewarding epilogue; if you haven’t read the earlier books, expect to miss context and emotional weight.

I loved getting to see them years later and the different things they still had to go through yet still had the deep connections they did. I genuinely love this entire series and i’m sad for it to end but also curious to see what Stephanie has coming for us. I started as a later fan but i’m definitely here to stay a fan, a follower, and a supporter. Thank you Stephanie for the amazing stories and journeys these characters had I enjoyed every single one of your books. 🫶

it all wrapped around the days leading up to Gabi's wedding and not stealing her thunder, yet everything kept happening as does in life.

Grayson should have just proposed they all knew already anyways.

Feel like it was also setting up for Madi to end up pregnant while getting the news about the baby, there should have been a flash forward I needed more closure. Touched on the uncertainty of the adoption going through and her having stress free sex.

To me Gabi was SO MUCH ruder, Leila and Gabi felt like they hated each other. Madi and Lucas = Stiff ass relationship Rosie and Grayson = Bad communication (To me idk if anyone else feels this way) BUT LEILA AND AIDEN CARRIED THE WHOLE SERIES AND BOOK I LOVE THEM SO MUCH ESPECIALLY AIDEN BEING A GIRL DAD

First thing I have to say is that was it just me or did anyone else think that Leila was kind of horrid to Gabriella pretty much the whole novella????????? I actually found myself thinking 'oh f off Leila!!!!'

Apart from finding Leila insufferable, I really enjoyed reading all about how their lives turned out! And I just adored the family tree at the end! :)

A cute novella and a nice way to wrap up this series. The characters have all matured (even Grayson, surprisingly. He's actually likable in this book) and the author's writing has definitely changed for the better.

Not much more to say about this book though, I probably wouldn't even have read it if I weren't a completionist.

Loved this novella (I enjoy these things way too much honestly)! Loved the fact that we got a glimpse in their future! My faves? Aiden and Leila, they are just my hit couple from the Campus Games series. I did love Chris and Gabi's part so much as well. Madi and Lucas made me ball my eyes out. Grayson and Rosie were so so cuteee.

Such a nice, little epilogue to the series.
