The Ultimate Strategy for Consistent Trading Mastering Probability and Emotions

Why can’t you win at trading even though you know "how to win"?

In this book, the author, who has finally reached the "essence of trading" despite being swayed by numerous false beliefs and emotional waves, specifically shows how to become a consistent trader based on probabilistic thinking, through years of experience and deep insights.

For those who are swayed by

In the world of trading, false beliefs such as "losses are bad" and "winning and losing are everything" often create emotions like fear, anxiety, and impatience, leading to rule-breaking. However, the author points out that the problem is not the emotions themselves, but the underlying "lack of understanding of trading." This book focuses on the "thought processes" that create emotions detrimental to trading success, aiming to fundamentally treat emotions by replacing false beliefs with an essential understanding such as "why losses are necessary" and "how losses lead to profits."

Harnessing probability and

Since "short-term results are random," it is important to leverage the system’s edge from a "long-term perspective" rather than being swayed by the outcome of a single trade. This book explains how to deepen trust and understanding of the system through thorough backtesting and practice, and how to make the most of probabilistic laws. By trusting statistical data based on a large sample size, you can trade consistently without being misled by immediate results.

Mastering the advanced skill of "waiting":

Impatience produces low-quality trade samples and reduces the system’s edge. This book defines "waiting" as a high-level skill that only superior traders possess, and conveys the mindset necessary to discern the right timing and execute trades according to the rules.

The "ultimate strategy" this book

It is the mindset shift of "I am not responsible for the outcomes." As long as you are trading according to the rules, the results are part of the system and beyond your control. This book asserts that this mindset shift is essential to be freed from emotional suffering and to truly focus on the process.

"The difficulty of trading is determined by you."

By mastering the thought process that controls probability and emotions as explained in this book, trading becomes a simple and highly repeatable task.

Grab this book now and master the "ultimate strategy" in trading.

This book is not about explaining trading strategies, but focuses on the mindset and psychology of a trader.

Just starting out or struggling; be humble. Read this.

I have read more than 200 books on trading and trading psychology. I plan to read another 200. Yumi's book explains exactly what most losing and novice traders need to hear and understand to turn their trading to consistent profitability. I don't write reviews; fewer than 5, so far. But Yumi's book deserves more than a mention. It really gets straight to the point.

Simple and easy to read.

My favorite idea is: losses are not a bad thing. She emphasizes the fact that backtesting is crucial to find your edge, not only for the data but for the experience. It is not a one day job, you should backtest the same period multiple times. Ah and if youre afraid to lose when backtesting, then you have a bigger problem with yourself.
