I knew immediately from the first book that I would love these two, and I was very much correct.
The tension and angst between these two was just so good. The chemistry was amazing. The spice was very much there.
I love Tracy so much. I can't help but feel for her.
And that ending???? I need book 3 immediately.

I actually rated this - ♾️⭐️s
• After meeting these two in the prior book (𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐲, read that if you haven’t mmmk.) I KNEW Tracy & Blake’s story would be full of explosive attitudes & passion. Because they’re both VERY strong willed characters. I wasn’t wrong 🤭
• My little firecracker Tracy, she’s headstrong, fierce, passionate, and doesn’t take 𝐍𝐨 for an answer. Hehe. I absolutely adore her stubborn self. Blake, little grump, he’s so wound up most of the time, especially around her. But also whew, excuse me sir. He is certainly something else, especially in the bedroom 👀 Powerful, dominant, an all consuming type of man for sure. But also the way he is with her, “𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞.”
• The tension between these two is a total inferno. Watching this play out was 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆.
• The end had me screaming & crying and with loads of questions, but 𝐓𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲 is coming 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟔𝐭𝐡. 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐊 𝐆𝐎𝐎𝐃𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒.

Taunting Tracy is the second installment of The Fractured Souls Series and the FIRST part to Tracy & Blake’s Duet. I loved this one just as much… if not more than Remnants of Riley🥺I had the absolute pleasure of Beta Reading this & the next book so I’m being careful with this review so it can remain spoiler free!! I was hooked from the very beginning and this book leaves you wanting to know so much more while giving you an amazing story 🥺🥺🥺 it’s a very good thing there is only a month between this and book Tatters of Tracy because THE ENDING.
This book was an emotional roller coaster that had me laughing and crying.

Wow… I don’t even know where to begin with this book other than that cliffhanger is fucking criminal. This book sucked me in so fast, I read it in a day and it had me hooked from the very beginning.
This book follows Tracy and Blake, Riley’s best friend. There are two parts to this book, the first one being in the present and showing the animosity and conflict between Tracy and Blake still surrounding the issue that we learned about at the end of Remnants of Riley. The second part, which is over 80% of the book, takes us back five years where we learn about Tracy and Blake’s relationship before.
I loved the aspect of jumping back in the past and seeing how Blake and Tracy met, how their relationship back then was and how everything conspired. It was interesting seeing Tracy from the start of the book and the character we knew in Riley’s book compared to who she was in the second part of this book, they are very different and it just makes me more and more intrigued to read the next book to know what the hell happened between Blake and Tracy to go from in love and happy to constantly arguing and refusing to let him see how much he affects her.
I love Tracy, she’s so stubborn and gives Blake a run for his money. She’s so determined to achieve what she wants and she won’t let her broody boss stop her from it. The constant back and forth, the battle between the two was definitely entertaining (for the most part) when it came to their relationship and that’s one of the things that hooked me in.
Blake was a different story, he definitely made me want to fight him through the screen at times for being such an asshole and hurting my baby Tracy. Men and not knowing how to talk about their feelings, I tell you 🙄. But once we got to see the softer side of Blake and the side that genuinely cared about Tracy and he just needed to get over not having control over somethings in his life, he started to redeem himself.
That cliffhanger though, fucking criminal. How could we be left off with that heart shattering, gut wrenching ending and it just be the end of the book?!??

However, she quickly realizes her new boss, Blake Frenshaw, is nothing but a broody ass and wants her gone. But as they begin working together, tensions ignite and the chemistry simmers to the surface. Will they realize the greatness they can have together, or will they send themselves into destruction?
Tracy and Blake are something else and man was their relationship intense. Their games of cat and mouse kept me on the edge of my seat and fanning myself throughout the entire book. Tracy is a fiery ball of fierceness, sass and all things ballsy. I am in complete awe of her confidence and determination! Blake is a morally gray and completely unhinged man, but deep down, he was a good man. He constantly pushed Tracy because he saw her and knew she could handle the challenges even when she annoyed him. They were honestly a perfect match, keeping each other on their toes.

My favorite scene was when she went to his office determined to get back at him and, oh, my. I knew I loved her, but that moment sealed it. She was not going to back down, and I was all in! Their story ends on a cliffhanger that will have you wanting you - no, needing - to know what happens next. Thankfully, Tatters of Tracy is releasing in March!

Oh my! Taunting Tracy was a wonderful follow up to Remnants of Riley. It starts off where Riley's book ends with Tracy saying goodbye to Riley (again) and fighting with Blake. Then it jumps to five years in the past. We get to see how Tracy started working for Blake and their relationship. It's full of tension and love. They are each other's match on stubbornness and drive. They start to fall for each other when something majorly tragic happens. Ends on a cliffhanger while still in the story five years in the past.

I am not okay! That ending tore my heart out, I need the next book right now. This was so good! The push and pull between Tracy and Blake was incredible. The little games they played with each other before finally giving in to their feelings were both entertaining and fantastic. I’ll be eagerly waiting for the next book!

Great second book in the series. This is a prequel to remnants of Riley, which focuses on Tracy and Blakes story. Tracy is a great FMC. Fantastic storyline that ripped my heart out at the end. There is plenty of spice it's a bit enemies to lovers story.

I knew they were gonna have an explosive passionate book! These two are very headstrong. Blake is grumpy strong, set in his ways kind of guy. Always in control. Tracy comes in and doesn’t take no for an answer and steamrolls right over him and I love every second of it.
The banter with Blake and Tracy is so good. The tension between these two kept me on the edge of my seat and I am here for it. Tracy is so badass and had me laughing out loud with some of the things she did. The spice was spicin. Who doesn’t like a dominant man that can dirty talk your panties off! I wish I could tell you what scene made me go feral but I never add spoilers in my reviews!
Beware, I’m a tough biatch but I bawled my eyes out through the last three chapter of this book. That’s gonna live rent free in my brain for a long while!

First, a big thank you to A.M. Wagner for honoring me and trusting me with an ARC of this stunning book. This book was one of my most anticipated reads of 2025 and it did not disappoint! This book had it all, angst, heart break, hope, despair, push and pull, and so much more!
Tracy is one of my favorite FMC's. She is assertive, confident, and no afraid to put herself out there to get what she wants. From the moment she met Blake, she doesn't take no for an answer. She is powerful but also has her softer hidden side, which also houses her doubts and fears. I love a well written strong FMC and she definitely hit the mark!
Blake is so sexy, demanding, intimidating but with a fierce loyalty to those he loves. Sure, that loyalty has him do some ... questionable ... things, but that is how I like my fictional men! To be honest though, at first, I was definitely not a Blake fan, but as the story picks up and their lives become more intwined and we see another side of him, I fell hard.
If you read Remnants of Riley (and if you didn't, what are you waiting for, go!) Taunting Tracy picks up where Riley's story left off. But then you get a significant time jump back to where Blake and Tracy began. I loved the move into the past, because reading Remnant of Riley and seeing them as side characters, I always wondered where their relationship with each other started and why they had such animosity towards each other.
The story really picks up about halfway through and ends in a devastating cliff hanger, don't say I didn't warn you! I cannot wait until the next book Tatters of Tracy comes out, because I need some closure (if that is even possible). This book will be living rent free in my head for a while, and I am not the least bit mad at that!

The book was so good. The chemistry between the characters was amazing and the plot was well written and the ending of the book was totally unexpected. I didn't expect it that way and I didn't know the cliffhanger was waiting for me. Also, there was one character whom I loved a lot, I really liked that particular character. The character was really very nice and full of heart and joy, but the author has something else in her mind with the character and I really felt Very bad for the same.

Balancing the edge between hate and desire, he thought that by taunting her he could force her to leave, but quickly fell under a spell that he couldn’t resist. Before he knew it, he was craving her like no other before, and willing to do whatever it took to have her, and keep her.
I absolutely loved this book! I was introduced to the characters in book 1 of the series, I was curious to know more about their story, but never expected this. I loved how the book starts in the present, but is mostly centered around their initial relationship 5 years in the past, and although it ends more or less in a cliffhanger, it does seem to wrap up that part of their lives, leaving the next book to dive into what got them to where they are today. While Tracy and Blake’s relationship definitely borders toxicity at times, they are both all in, and when they finally get over themselves, the potential between them is electric. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

I’ll start this by saying you absolutely need to read Remnants of Riley before reading this book. It’s important and shows important parts of Blake and Tracy’s relationship.
Now…onto this book. I love how we start off seeing the tension and anger between Blake and Tracy…yet we aren’t sure exactly how they got there. What takes love to this dark and disturbed place. Thankfully we find out. We go back 5 years to the start of their relationship. Seeing exactly how they got to where they are.
Tracy is STRONG. Never takes no for an answer, especially from Blake. Blake is her alpha hole broody boss who hates her but secretly loves her but also really hates her. And the feeling is 100% mutual. Eventually they give in to each other which results in a deliciously dark and spicy relationship that will leave needing a cold shower.
BUT…THE CLIFFHANGER ?!?! The actual audacity. I’m PRETTY SURE my neighbors thought I was being murdered with the way I screamed at 3am 😩😩 I’m chomping at the bit to get my hands on the next book!!

A.M. Wagner continues her dark romance series focusing on the relationship between Tracy and Blake, who we first meet in Remnants of Riley. The book starts in the present, and then most of the books takes place in the past as we learn how Tracy and Blake meet and why their relationship is the way it is. They have a captivating relationship and the story does contain a lot of twists and turns (some are a little obvious though which led to an interesting build up).
This book is dark, and I struggled a bit with Tracy and Blake's relationship as I think it leaned more towards toxic than anything. I didn't get enough of their relationship building on either end for it to have the impact I was hoping for. I also think the last chunk has the most amount of action, ending with a cliffhanger, that I'm not 100% sure how I felt about (in terms of the scenarios) but that may change with the release of the second book.
It's a solid story, especially if you like dark romance, and I do enjoy A.M's writing style and storytelling.
While you do not need to read Remnants of Riley to read this one, it will give you some background and insight into where the story is (potentially) going. Since this one takes place mostly in the past, you can read it as a standalone but for the best reading experience you will want to read them all. Especially since this book does end on a large cliffhanger.

But it turned out, it was the start of a tragic story that would see nothing but pain for both. Part of him her for turning her life around and part of him also wanted to keep her close. He’s out to make her miserable, and he’s out to make her bend. Yet, this war waging between the two of us becomes the least of our worries. There are some fates worse than death, and they on the fast track to something far more painful than they could have ever imagined. Something that will destroy her from the inside out and have her begging for mercy in the end.
She is a strong and stubborn women who doesn’t take no for an answer and he is a grumpy strong guy who like things his ways, so absolutely the banter is amazing. They’re both powerful character who are locked in a battle to outdo one another, with using any way to put the other down. Taunting Tracy is book 2 of the Fractured Souls series but is the first book following Tracy and Blake. You get mentions of them in Rileys story from Remnants of Riley, but Taunting Tracy is really where they kick off. This is not your sweet and tender romance story but a beautiful one none the less with its darker elements. This is a story filled with lust, hate, twists, anger, banter, angst, tension, bullying, hurt, forgiveness, understanding, love, and a whole lot of spice. I went through a lot of conflicting feelings on this one. There were definite moments of WTH throughout this one, but by then end I was sobbing. Tracy and Blake are both headstrong, stubborn, and relentless when it comes to trying to get the upper hand in their dynamic. With neither one wanting to back down or turn away, we are given a constant push and pull between them. One minute, I'm starting to hate Blake with his cold demeanor, hurtful words, and bullying. The next thing I know, he is slowly breaking me down alongside Tracy and making me rethink absolutely everything Wagner didn't just come to entertain with this story but to create a tragically beautiful splendor. This story does end on a cliffhanger with book 3 coming to pick up to continue with Tracy and Blakes story, but until then, I am wrecked.

This couple Wow. After devouring Remnants of Riley, I eagerly anticipated Tracy and Blake’s tale, and it totally blew my mind! I absolutely loved this book.I love how this book takes you back to the first encounter between these two and the connection they have 🥵. The push and pull and the constant back and forth between these characters had me hooked!!Tracy is strong, beautiful, head-strong, and confident especially when she inserts herself into Blake’s life. Taunting Tracy by A.M. Wagner was such an emotional rollercoaster. Between the character development, world building, steamy scenes, hitting the micro tropes, and executing her delivery, she nailed it. She adds enough angst, witty banter, brattiness, spice, that you’ll be on the edge of your seat.
Tracy, our FMC, is confident, strong, sassy, and so much more. She definitely can hold her own and she is a lovable/ relatable character. Not to mention her pet-name from Blake is everything, Sunshine!
Blake, our MMC, is a strong, dominant, ruthless, grumpy, alpha hero, and so much more of what we like to eat up. He will do anything to protect Tracy.
Overall, I absolutely loved seeing their love story play out. I can’t wait to see where their journey leads to in the next book. It does leave on a gnarly cliffhanger and has me trying to process the ending.

I love a good enemies to lovers story & it is everything. I enjoyed the plot of the story & the characters. The story was so well written & keeps you engaged. & very entertaining! It will have you in your emotions at times. Everything in this story just flowed & it is everything!
Blake & Tracy are both very headstrong characters, but the tension, angst, spice & chemistry was everything. It’ll keep you on the edge of your seat. I loved the banter & bullying between Blake & Tracy, so good. Blake is a grump & he needs control & he may get under your skin at times. But you will end up falling for him. He’s tall dark & handsome, demanding, possessive & that mouth! Oh my! Tracy is feisty, sassy, stubborn, confident & knows what she wants & takes it! Doesn’t take no for an answer! She’s a strong FMC & I’m here for it! Now the spice.. is just wow! The ending will keep you wanting more & NEEDING more!

WOW!! @author.a.m.wagner has done it again her second book Taunting Tracy! If you haven’t read her debut book Remnants of Riley, you are missing out!
Taunting Tracy follows Riley’s Tracy and Blake. They are mentioned in the first book. Their story takes you through it! I can’t find the words to describe what I just read, other than my heart was NOT prepared for Chapter 42😭!
Blake runs a successful brokerage and an inexperienced Tracy runs into his life and business like a tornado🌪️. She’s determined, fierce, and Blake definitely met his match in his Sunshine🥹. It’s not recommended to read Remnants of Riley but I suggest you do. Their timelines intersect in the beginning of the book. Blake is a filthy talker and a dirty boy🙊! The chemistry between him and Tracy was HOTTTTT🥵🥵!! This book does end on a cliffhanger so be prepared. But the ending of this book…man😢. Ugh okay I don’t want to give too much away but I HIGHLY recommend you add Taunting Tracy to your tbr. As always, please check your trigger warnings.

This book broke my fucking heart.
I loved watching Tracy and Blake's relationship develop and grow. But that ending, it ripped my heart out. I read the content warnings and author note but I still was not prepared for THAT. I even knew what was coming before it happened but it still hurt.
Tracy is such a badass and I love her. She doesn't take shit from anyone but the way she is for Blake....ah I get it. We all need someone that can give as much as we do.
As far Blake goes, I won't lie I kinda hated him at the beginning and during the desk incident. But after his reaction when he realized what he had done and the way he acted after that, made me like him. He is a little psycho but we love a man that turns a little psycho for his woman.
Also, fuck Lucas. He is a dick and I think he deserved far more than he got 🤷🏼♀️
If you don't mind cliffhangers, definitely read this book as soon as it releases on February 26th. If you don't like cliffhangers, the conclusion of Tracy and Blake's story comes out March 26th. I strongly suggest you check the content warnings for this book, it is not for everyone.

Review: FML literally! I knew I shouldn't have gotten comfortable, and I knew this wasn't going to be without tragedy but that ending got me and I definitely wasn't prepared for it. I went from giddy with laughter and kicking my feet to bawling my eyes out. That ending was just criminal straight to jail. Btw shout out to Craig for being our awesome diabetic rep in this book. I to can be bribed with candy bars as a diabetic myself.
All jokes aside I must say this was such a fantastic book. I read it a little slower just to savor it because I obviously knew in the end, I would be a mess. In part one of Taunting Tracy, we pick up right where Remnants of Riley ended. We get to see that things between Blake and Tracy are extremely strained between them. In part two we get thrown back in time 5 years to see how they met for the first time and how their relationship started and grew and ultimately takes a turn. I am so nervous for what is to come in Tatters of Tracy after the fall out. I highly recommend reading Remnants of Rily first and be sure to check all the TWs before diving in.
