I started this some time ago and found it recently, realizing I had never completed it. I’m so glad I did.
I appreciate the space the authors give for reflection, the amount of text given daily, the format that encouraged daily study and weekly reflection, and the beautiful production value of this study.
I have several others from the Daily Grace on my TBR, and I’m looking forward to diving in!
Another cute little 3-week devotional plan on the fruit of the Spirit. I enjoyed spending so much time in the same small passage. At times I felt the commentary was fluffy or potentially confusing, especially if someone was reading it with little to no Bible knowledge. But overall I enjoyed the study!
This is my first Daily Grace study to go through! I found I enjoyed it a lot.
There’s good context shared around the scriptures and the time the scriptures are written. Sometimes it is written as though you already have an understanding of the Bible, so it could be difficult for new believers as it doesn’t add much of a guide to gather that understanding either.
I really enjoyed this study. I liked focusing on one small passage. There was just enough context and history given without being overwhelming. Also the illustrations in this devotional are beautiful!
Honestly not good - I wouldn’t recommend this. It felt like all fluff and not worth the time. Give me something in depth and some historical context and something meaty.
