When friends and neighbors are too ill to celebrate Christmas, Barney and Hillary Dew deliver meals-on-wheels to elderly shut-ins. When they discover an ornery acquaintance is no longer among the living, they fear they’ll become suspects.
Unfamiliar with crime-solving, the Dews reenact the murder as if they'd committed the atrocity themselves. Stepping into the roles of killer and victim, they collect clues that will help them clear their names.
Unfortunately, the more they try to figure out who might have committed the crime, the more it looks like they had motive and opportunity. To make matters worse, while recreating the horrific scene, they've made themselves look guilty.

I love Riley Blake’s books, this one gave me great pleasure to read.
After all it’s Christmas, and she can write some of the best Christmas stories.
I follow her two series ….
Miss Fortune and Merry Wrath series as well. I hope she writes more! All her
books are great reading. They are funny and filled with action. Her crazy funny characters will have you laughing till you cry. Pick up one of her books and read
