In this book Cassandra and partner Nick Donovan are on the trail of ruthless killers who are dumping harmful chemicals into the ocean off the coast of Maine. A researcher is killed and her body is strapped to channel marker. Lots of gun fights and even the deployment of a coast guard cutter. Cassandra is still obsessed with her father’s disappearance years ago but may finally be ready to move on. Several deaths and lots of property destruction.

There were mistakes in typing the book. That is bad for someone like me who notices mistakes.
Otherwise, the book was good. But most of her books follow the same sequence. She finds someone who Cassandrathinks is the murderer, but they are not charged. This happens several times before they find someone who is the murderer.
