From the bestselling author of The Sweetest Little Blueberry comes the next installment in the "Little Fruits" motherhood poetry series.
In the blink of an eye, our sweet, tiny babies become sassy toddlers. In The Sassiest Little Strawberry,Bluett doesn’t hold back on the journey through toddlerhood. There are fun times – like hearing your toddler say “I love you” for the first time, watching them play in the sun, and reading them their favorite bedtime story – while also being transparent about the not-so fun times – like healing your hidden wounds that reappear during parenting, getting screamed at for not making dinner exactly how they like it, and trying to help a tiny human navigate new emotions.
The Sassiest Little Strawberry is a refreshing, relatable read that will make mothers laugh, cry, and feel less alone in this wondrous yet exhausting journey we are all on together.
This is a reminder to mothers everywhere that you are a total badass, and you deserve to feel like one. Bring this book along with you to read in the car after the toddler finally passes out in the Target parking lot, or keep it on your bedside table when you need to remember that you totally got this.
A very cute and relatable book of poems on motherhood, and raising a little girl. I was gifted this book on my daughters first birthday, themed "Berry First Birthday" so it was very fitting. Some of these poems made me tear up. Having a little girl to raise heals my soul and fills gaps I didn't know were there. If you have a little one of your own, I highly recommend this read! ♡
This is such an amazing book! I read the first one and it made me cry. To read the growth this mom has been through is so amazing! I may not be a mother myself but I do love kids and I plan to be child psychologist (which I know is going to be amazing but it will probably do some damage to my mental health). I am apart of blended family and we all have two younger siblings and getting to watch them grow has been amazingly tough but we all love them so much. I’m so proud of you for making another amazing poem on motherhood! I plan to read the others you have made soon. Thank you so much Cheyenne🩷
I started out with The Sweetest Little Blueberry, and here I am reading her newest book and loving every single second of it. These poems made me laugh because I can definitely relate to them with a sassy little 1 year old, who is going to be 2 here in three months (where did time go?!) 🥰🩷🍓
“I used to pray for these moments, unsure if my dreams would ever come true, and here I am.”
This is just a snippet of a poem from this book that really spoke to me. This entire book of poetry is so touching, just as The Sweetest Little Blueberry was.
All Mama’s should read this. Just be prepared to get a little misty. 🥹❤️
