this story builds to a rousing climax
The characters in this story were revealed in small layers, but became more interesting with each experience. The author let her character’s vulnerabilities develop as the story unwinds. I appreciated the small town climate for this big dramatic tale. It was good to spend time in Dragonfly with familiar friends.

Amazing!
WOW! Now I have to finish reading the rest of this series.
I am a big fan of Amy Knupp and I have read so many of her books. It took me about a week to read this set, but it kept my interest. Now I have to find out if Ava returns to take over her aunt's Inn.

No profanity!!
I loved both stories, but am NOT a fan of the F word! So not necessary and was the only disappointing part of the books!!

2 Good reads, would carry on reading this series but am expected to pay for 3/4 even though first 2 were free on kindle unlimited, not paying twice so will not be reading books 3&4.

Book 1 Introduces us to Dragonfly lake and Chloe who ‘escaped’ from the small town 16 yrs ago feeling shame for her upbringing. However, the good part is reconnecting with her childhood love. She is up for a great opportunity if her boss believes she has a balanced work/family life. She does end up making peace with her childhood in a beautiful way.
Book 2 is a runaway bride story. She is daughter of a famous country music recording agent who has lead her to be the sweetheart of country music engaged to the leading male country music star. She escapes on wedding day to a last minute rental in Dragonfly Lake. Hiding there she falls for the owner and it is a HEA. An enjoyable story set in a great town with lots more people in the family to have more HEA in more books.
