Skye Ellison is an aspiring novelist who’s had more than a string of terrible luck—within days, she’s been fleeced of her savings by her now-ex boyfriend, who turns out to have been a con man, she’s fired, and her ex’s landlord is convinced she’s in on the con.

Nico Valetti has been hot for Skye ever since he laid eyes on her, but he’s not one to poach on someone else’s relationship. When he convinces Skye to take a trip to Las Vegas to pursue a lead, they fall prey to the one-room scenario, and then they don’t want out.

A cute fairy-tale-esque story.
