The Date

Rate this book
Jayna and Phillip fell in love the day they met. Jayna was an IT girl and Phillip a mellow poet. They were opposites but they attracted, sparked and married immediately. But very soon, things began to change—or maybe THEY began to change. Marriage, work and other boring responsibilities that come with being adults began to bring their party to a screeching halt.
Thinking that technology could save their marriage from dying a slow death Jayna and Phillip turn to the internet, but like the real Romeo and Juliet, the reality of cyber chatting nearly causes tragedy for their relationship.
Written in the mid 90’s The Date looks at the cyber world in its early stages. Enjoy this delightful short story and remember what used to be—the Internet.
