Grandma is awake and we now know the truth of everything, and whoa is it mind-blowing!

We have intercepted a communication from the syndicate and know that a meeting is occurring. All players will be in the same place at the same time. We hope to round them all up and take care of that niggling problem once and for all.

As for the Orb, we now know its origins and understand how to deal with it. This will free up my family to just run a circus and enjoy being together.

And there's the matter of slimy Agent Smith. He needs to pay for his treatment of Brannock's daughter, Chloe, and the other captive aliens that have been in his control for many years. I'm not sure deep space is even deep enough to bury him in. But I can guarantee you, I'm going to enjoy every single second of it.

There's light at the end of the proverbial tunnel and hopefully, it's calm seas and smooth sailing, or whatever the space equivalent is, from now on.

There are few things I dislike more than when an author gets bored with their own long series and decides to just rush and finish.

And that’s entirely what this was. Very disappointing.

The overall series concept I give a solid 4. But starting around book 6 I began growing concerned because I knew there were only 9 books and instead of wrapping things up there were new plot points and characters rapidly being added.

By 20% into this book I became agitated because it was all filler and then the last 80 pages were rushed. Especially the final 10.

And no epilogue?!?

Unfinished business and characters. I get there may be a spinoffs planned but idk, this did not leave me satisfied.

Also, I love large harems but ffs stop adding to it if you aren’t going to give the new members balanced story time.

This just really didn’t hit the mark for me. It felt like the author rushed to meet a deadline and was desperate to wrap up the series and move onto something else. It even had some typos, unlike the other books, and certain spots were repetitive. Almost like they paused writing for a day or two, came back and forgot what they wrote and then rewrote similar things phrased differently.

Just sigh. What a let down for a story I really loved.

loved this series BUT

Spoilers ****

I loved this series so much. But I feel this ending was super rushed. We go through all of the issues and plots against the family with the orb. And then boom everything is solved in a matter of three chapters? I feel maybe one more book would have been nice to really see how life is for Brannock, Chloe and Ghosie now that the curses have been lifted. Also the swap with her dad taking the powers randomly? I felt like that was messed up of all of them. There was no reason to do that to her. They could have been honest and I’m sure she would have been understanding. So while the first half of this book was amazing. I was disappointed in the ending and that made me sad as I literally read each release immediately. I loved the characters so much. I also wish we could have seen Echo have the babies after how long he has been pregnant with them.

I only finished this series because they were easy reads and I felt an obligation to because I had already started. One thing I will say is the amount of creativity the author has for her alien species continued to amaze me throughout the series. I really loved it. However it just… could’ve been better.

That was anticlimactic... Ending felt rushed and not really worth 9 books of build up. There was no confrontation. Also.... ECHOS BABIES?! I feel absolutely robbed that we didn't meet them. He got punted to the sidelines 😭

🥰😭😭😭 Wow.

Well Miss Lexie, you did a marvellous job wrapping this series up.
Ive been going crazy waiting for this final book and was so happy with the directions you took as a lot of my predictions and hopes came true.

Yes there are things that I would have liked to see different like Nixie not being snubbed by everyone as it wasn't her fault what happened to her and it sort of felt a little like victim blaming the poor girl.

Also we have been leading up to the "baddies" for 8 other books, not including this one and we see nothing apart from them walking into a room??
I really wanted to see the Aunt and Smith get what was coming to them.

I also wanted to see her through her first show as ringmaster and really hoped we would get a couple of epilogue's maybe a couple of years from now to see their kids grow, to see her have more babies as that had been a big part of the whole story with her Husbands wanting a turn to get her pregnant.
We didn't get to see Echo have the twins so we don't know what they had? and I wanted to get to know Ember and Chloe as she has been very much a main part of the whole too.

Please consider doing maybe a novella to wrap everything up for us. I know you will make lots of us very happy as you have created such a wonderful world and characters for us to fall in love with that I don't think anyone would moan about waiting for 1 last book to wrap it all up in a bow for us.

Also we waited for her Grandma to wake up and be healthy enough for us to get to really know her but we didn't get an opportunity. Then we find out about her parents and Brother but it's the same again and we don't get the chance to fall in love with them.

Lexie, you are a true artist and your books are a credit to you.
I promise that I'm not being nasty by what I've said, it's because you have given us such a wonderful series that I beg you to give us a story and ending that this series deserves.

I want to know if her friends take on those extra mates that were hinted at and to give poor Nixie a chance at friendship and sister in laws again.
I want to know about all the people they rescued and the couple that decided to stay on the ship with them.
Did she give them the water 💧 to drink? Did it work? What did they turn into????

P L E A S E L E X I E (help a girl out)😇😉

Please if you are thinking of maybe passing over this series as its alien 👽 fantasy/R H and you think it's going to be corny, then please don't. This series is so so fun, it's hot and steamy, it's full of love and family but it's also a really bloody good story.
I'm so glad I decided to egnore my self when I rolled my eyes at the thought of reading it. It's one of my all time favourite reads and I read A LOTTTTTT.

Really packed a punch

This was incredible. Lexie Winston had so much to close out she jam packed the final book with all of our hopes and dreams.
This book had everything: mystery, drama, family, government conspiracy, gods misbehaving, aliens, revenge, strippers and all the spice our naughty hearts desire.

I love this series and Lila is the ringmaster we all deserve. I love that the mate group are a band of brothers and really care for each other and have from the beginning. There has never been any real animosity between them and they all encourage and support each other and that all the children are collective.
I love the grandpa's and that with Gigi back they can reignite their lives.
Having all the parents be friends is hilarious.
Bubby got a happy ending to (iykyk)
The sacrifices that Lila made throughout the series for the galaxy was heroic and I hope that one day we'll get a post epilogue that includes a glimpse of mated life and a von Trapp-esq sound off of all the amazing children and all of their incredible gifts and adventures.
I'll miss Lila and her curse words but also her absolutely enormous capacity for love and acceptance of the extra- terrestrial.

So much anticipated finale of the Galaxy Circus series and as much as it is sad to say goodbye, I am happy to see the end of it at the same time because we get closer to so many situations (as it should be) 🤍 It is HFN but it is so HEA, you know that they all will be alright for many decades to come ✊🏼 After so many obstacles to overcome how can they not? :)

My hopes came true in this book, for all characters, but it was in a surprising fashion at the same time! Happy times yay!! I’m not even disappointed that we didn’t get to see new (final) babies to be born 🙃 I thought I would be nooo 😄 I’ll gladly buy one more novel to see them be welcomed to the family 💕

I don’t want to spoil it for you even vaguely describing what happens 😁 Just go and read it!!

Thank you Lexie Winston for the opportunity to read the end of the series as a part of your ARC team ❤️ It was truly a joy for me.

All opinions are my opinions are my own and this is my honest review.

With Ovation being the 9th book in the Galaxy Circus series, I can't believe we have come to the (maybe or maybe not) end of the Lila's story and what an incredible journey it's been!!!!

When we first met Lila, she was a work in progress once having discovered she was not as human as she believed. She was a force of nature from the beginning of bk 1 in Apprentice with a ton of sass, snark and heaven help anyone who threatens her loved ones. Her 12 mates, while all rather diverse, are perfect for her in every way. I'm so glad she kept all that sass and snark right up to the end because how she manages 12 mates, 5 children, 3 hilarious grandpas and multiple missions, I will never know!!!

This series never failed to keep me on my toes, always made me laugh, always guessing to the last minute who, what and where the orb was, who was in the coffin, and who or what was behind the door in Area 51. I think they were the really big questions of the entire series. I spent so much time trying to figure it all out and when it was finally revealed, did I actually get any of it right?? Well, I got like half of one right. I guessed who was in the coffin but not what that person was. And as for the rest of it, nope, not even close!!!!

I am so glad that this isn't really the end for the Galaxy Circus and that one day in the future we will get to see what Lila and her family have been up to. Because her life throughout the 9 books was non stop and I have no doubt things will only get more hilariously chaotic and I am here for it!!!

Good

This was a fun series to binge read, with lots of action, plenty of steam, and a very intriguing overarching storyline, that ended with a rather satisfying showdown. Ok I admit it, I kind of wanted to see Smith being dealt with, and I really wanted to see Lila’s first tour as Ringmaster, but it was still an enjoyable ending.

The series is a little old fashioned as far as sci-fi romance is concerned, because it was also a Rom-Com, making it a rather lighthearted one. That’s a good thing though, because it’s what made me want to keep reading! It reminded me of the books I used to find published by the now defunct Ellora’s Cave e-publisher, with some over the top scenarios that make this more like Spaceballs than Star Trek, but equally enjoyable to the more serious stories out there.
It’s got an entertaining premise (which I liked better than Killer Klowns from Outer Space, but I’m sure there was some inspiration there!), and a remarkably likeable heroine who, though far from perfect, has an admirable ability to roll with it. I hope she gets to spend some time with her mates/husbands now, be cause she has certainly earned it, and so have they.
This absolutely rates a five alarm 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ chili pepper for spicy scenes, since Lila is definitely open to most things, and that means it’s not for those of you who are faint of heart.
So, if you are a spicy scene lover, an alien hero fan (you have twelve after all), or a Reverse Harem Sci Fi Romance connoisseur, then this is an enjoyable, light hearted, and entertaining series to read.

Sooooo, i really dont know what to say. I will admit i cried a little after reading this one.
I looooove the Galaxy Circus series and it is and will be my go to read. I‘m really sad that its over but at the same time I loved the ending. We get all our answers (at least I did) and a wholesome ending with many plottwists.
I love all the characters and the little ones are a favourite of mine. Really would love to see more of the family dynamics without all the orb drama. And I really hope we will 🫶
Lexie, a huge shoutout and thank you for giving us a lovable, relatable, funny and beautiful story about family, friendship and so much more.
Please don’t ever stop giving us these amazing stories, that make our days so much better. 🫶

Again, a total 6 star read and totally recommend. If you haven‘t started this series, do it NOW (i really would give my left kidney to read it again for the first time)

wow what a series

Wow wow wow!! What a series!!

Honestly I’m glad that everyone got an HEA. The ending was a tad rushed. I wanted to see The BIG BAD Syndicate to see that they had been bested. I wanted them frozen but aware so we could see their reactions. That’s my only complaint.

The series was so fun! It took a minute but it was worth the wait to fun! I loved watching Lila find her way with the aliens.

This story needed an epilogue if I ever saw one because there are so many things I wanted to see. Like what happens with Nikos’ mom? Does Nixie ever realize what her problem is? I wanted to see Echo and Max with their own babies. I wanted to see the original kids interact with the new kids. What about Magenta and the brothers-in-law?!

Overall it was great but I do so prefer to see what happened than for Lila to tell us what happened before her first show as the ringmaster.

But man, was it fun!

Loved it

This is the last scheduled book in this series…see how I did that?😂 I’m praying at a later date we get another book in this series, but I’m more than impressed with all the action, the growth we were able to see all the characters go through and how Lila was able to embrace all the crazy with grace and so much love.

This is one of those books that you need to read to really appreciate Allllll the crazy! 😬 The interaction and smexy times she has with her mates only adds to the dynamics of her deep love and commitment to all her mates. Their love and wisdom help her when she needs it most, when she doubts herself and questions whether she is really capable of taking over the Circus!

Run 🏃🏻‍♂️ and download your very own copy…then order takeout for the family…this is one of those books you won’t want to put down until you turn the last page.

I need more

Amazing ending! I would genuinely love a bonus scene of the group adjusting to their new life at the circus. I am bummed we never met the baby kittens from Echo but a bonus scene of that would be lovely as well as more family time. I would also love to see a few scenes of Lila being the ring master and having huge get togethers with the mates families for the children’s bdays and Christmas as well as doing the earth Halloween tradition. I think it would be cute and fun to see Lila teach her mates about earthly holidays and more traditions!

I agree with Lila’s sentiment at the end about the Syndicate but I’m not mad about it because it was humorous. I think the ending was satisfying but I’m too attached to all these people to walk away!

Absolutely loved this ending. There was so much to happen in this book but it was done so well.

The only problem I had was that I kept getting to pivotal moments at times I had to put it down and it killed me every time!

I love the characters and that there are always twists when meeting the families. I was hoping for one of the twists that came along and I was so happy when it did. I won’t say anymore as you really do need to read it.

I know this is the end of the series but would love to see more from this world/galaxy in the future especially with all the kids that there are sure to be.

This book was everything. While it did not have the amount of spice especially in detail that we have come to expect like in the previous books, I wasn't mad about it. The pacing of the book had a good even flow and I loved it. My only complaint which the author had already addressed was just that Echo's babies weren't going to be born in this book. Lexie Winston definitely covered all of the missing holes and there are so many possibilities for side stories. I know a lot of people are going to be so happy for how this story ended. I'm definitely ready for the rest of the series to hit audio cause I'll be snatching them up.

I'm excited to see what Lexie writes nexy!

I am so sad to see this series end. It's one of my favorites of all time. It was a great conclusion and I sure hope we get some bonus content to deal with several things that were left out of the book, but I bet it was intentional. Maybe some novellas or extended epilogues. One can only hope.

I may have teared up once or twice, and I for sure laughed a lot. There are so many side characters now that can also have stories.

I won an ARC of this book and I devoured it in one day. Thank you, Lexie, for choosing me. I would say more, but I don't want let any spoilers out before the book comes out. I give this a solid 4.5 to 5 stars.

Standing Ovation for Epic Series!!
Not enough stars for how much I love this series. Lila is in my top 5 favorite FMCs of all time and I can never get enough of all the rest of the characters in these books. I even love the villains lol. I could live in the Galaxy Ms Winston has created indefinitely. As sad as I am to see this series end, I have to say that the ending was so satisfying. I was crying happy tears. Thank you for this amazing, out-of-this-world series!! Hands down my favorite sci-fi romance series. And I didn’t even talk about the spice!! Deliciously creative and just the right amount. Our girl Lila is so freaking lucky. Bravo 👏!!!

One of my favorite series has come to the end (minus potential future novellas/epilogues🤞) and I have completely and utterly enjoyed the ride. So much happens in this novel, including surprises I did not see coming when starting this book. I don’t want to spoil anything, so I’ll just say download this book and devour it now! If you only like complete series, what are you waiting for? Start with Apprentice and catch up! The audiobooks have also been coming out (books 1 & 2 so far and they have multiple narrators voicing the characters), so if you want to experience the books from the beginning you can check those out too.

I love this series so much! So much so, that I started from the beginning every time a new book came out. It is a great conclusion, but there are so many unanswered questions.

Possible spoilers ahead*******

What about Echo's babies? I really want to know how Maxsim reacts to Echo going into labor. What happens to Ember, and Bastian? Does Lila have more babies? Does she have babies with all her mates? Do Magenta and Nixie make up and get back together? Does Aura get the Pleasure Inn back? How well do Susie and Mark fit into the circus? I hope there is more to this series, there are so many more questions and situations that were not resolved yet. I love Lexie's books and I look forward and hope there is at least one more Galaxy Circus books.

Great series but *spoilers*

I loved this series but I have to agree that this book and even the last felt like a race to the finish line with everything happening as fast as possible (matings included as well as an anticlimactic final scene). I didn’t like the sudden swap at the end and it feels so… meh? I feel like it could have been written differently to not feel like a blindside and backstabbing kind of moment - especially after all that happened.

Loved the series but I feel like the last 2 books were trying to wrap up too hard and everything could have been spaced a bit better.

I love this series, but....

I love this series. i have read and reread these books, just waiting for the next one, but I feel really let down right now. This doesn't feel like an ending book it's incomplete 😕 😢. Where are the conclusions to all the other stuff, outside the whole Syndicate debacle that felt very anticlimactic in the end anyway, I want to know what happened to the babies and did she finally get to marry all of them like she wanted. Who is the ruler of Aquilla now? Did Magenta get her happy ending with all her mates? I need to know how Echo is doing with his babies? Did they finally all get to have babies with Lila? Oml, it's killing me, lol 😆 😭

OMG!! Such a satisfying and amazing ending to this part of the series!

I am a huge fan of Lexie and for good reason. She gave us a series that was beyond creative with the different alien species. She gave us a feisty, fun heroine and drool worthy guys that are all in. Plus babies and a large harem??? It’s literally the perfect recipe for me. The spicy scenes were fun and I loved how she found new scenarios to use that were perfection. I am obsessed with the twists of this last book and I will be jumping up and down when a new story in the world releases!

3.8

The series is finished and is worth reading even though there's a lot of mates and can get overwhelming at first

I feel like I'm in the minority but this was not my favourite, the vibes are really similar to the ending of the neighpalm series and while Lexie is a favourite, the last book of the series I've read so far are just bizarre.

Like the whole series is balls to the wall weird but the triggers are a bit how ya going and the idea of hope in regards to the baby and mother being together throws me.

I enjoyed the entire series.

This book was a great wrap up of the series. I loved the last chapter of this book. The author stayed true to the characters even in the final book. The whole series was a nice, fun read. It reminded me a lot of the old 90s and early 2000s sci-fi tv shows but a why-choose version. There were a few times I wanted to say really but often so did a character in the story. I really enjoyed the creative way the author got around the 5 times rule. That was awesome. It was a great way to spend my winter break.

What an ending to this series!!!!! I couldn’t be happier with how Lexie wrapped up this series. All my hopes and dreams came true within this book. Lila’s relationships with her mates, friends, and even family developed and karma got everyone who deserved it. Lila’s interactions with her family were hilarious! I can’t wait for future snippets so we can see Echo’s babies. I’m just so pleased with how this book turned out. 10 stars.

I just loved this series. I am sad to see it end. I hope we can come back to Lila and her guys in the future. Maybe a series with the kids. Ovation was by far the best in my opinion. I just loved the steamy and drama. I did not dislike a thing about this book or series I do wish it was longer but am happy with the ending. I recommend to all adult book lovers to read from the beginning if course. I will reread in the future. I want a epilogue about babies.

All the things

This series was such fun! The world building was done so well. Despite there being so many MC and side characters they were well developed although I wouldn't mind more about the later additions. Also what about the other mimics son?
So sad it's over. Definitely recommend. Glad to hear you won't be leaving this world behind completely. Looking forward to your next series.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SERIES!

This series has given me so many ups and downs and twists and turns. The ending really got to me. There are so many nice surprises I never saw coming. I wish there were more books to come just because I don’t want the story to end and want to see what happens with their lives now but it was a great ending. Thank you to the author for making such amazing stories.

So many twists & turns in this series. Rolling with the punches, Lila has never given up on her desire for the family she’s always craved. With found family, literal found family, & all of her mates she’s has a life filled with love and joy. Our journey is at an end with most our questions wrapped up in a bow. The world is so vast with potential & plenty of characters..the possibilities are endless. It may not be goodbye but see you again.
