Maddison’s love of Virginia and her fondness of her time spent in graduate school inspires her writing. She lived in southwest Virginia for five years, enjoying time in the New River Valley with her closest friends, before moving to the Richmond area and beginning her career.

I had to sit in silence after reading this book because I. Was. Speechless.

I’m actually obsessed with Devina and Ryker?! The chemistry and banter and oh my goodness my heart. I was hooked right away with their case together and thought it was SO GOOD and then PART TWO happened.

Let me tell you I buckled up and read the entirety of part two in one sitting well past my bedtime. On top of all this my sweet lil Virginia soul was made so happy by all of the little nods to my home state and college town.

Miss ma’am I am going to need the next book asap I NEED to know more about my boy Ryker ❤️
