Amethyst Hamilton had a rough start at birth, but when she was adopted by her aunt and uncle, her life changed for the better. Surrounded by aunts and uncles who would do anything for her and more cousins than she can count, she's had a safe and comfortable life. After years of hard work, her dream of becoming a pediatrician finally became reality, and the care she gives her patients truly showed her love of children.

Even though she is encompassed by a family that loves her, she’s still alone. That has begun to wear on her even though she isn’t quite ready to admit it. Her yearning for children of her own - either naturally or through adoption - has become her focus lately, but she’s not sure that she’s ready to tackle single motherhood, so she has to be content with the kids she sees through her practice and those who are part of her extended family.

At the wedding of an old friend, she spots a man she just can’t forget, and when he appears in her life, it feels like it was meant to be. The fact that he’s gorgeous, smart, caring, and can handle her loud and intrusive family is just a bonus. A misunderstanding brings his past to the forefront and almost tears him away, but with Amethyst’s help and the support of her family, he makes it through and finds the freedom to live his dreams with the woman he loves.

Join Cee Bowerman as she tells the story of Amethyst, the toddler who broke our hearts and then made us laugh throughout the Texas Kings MC series, as she falls in love with a man who brings a piece of another MC to Rojo and gives one of the Rojo Gems the happily ever after she deserves.

4.5 stars.
So sweet, and hot, and funny.
I just love coming back to these characters.
I wasn’t expecting this to be a Time Served MC book but Tiny being one of the ‘nomads’ was so cool.

An amazing story and series!

I REALLY wish that it was possible to give 10++ stars, because this certainly deserves it! I have always loved reading about the second (& third! Lol!) generation, of course it was always with tears streaming down my face, but I love reading about their adult lives even more. This story had it all with the amazing characters, insane humor (which I absolutely love!!), drama, angst, suspense, heartbreaking situations, and intriguing twists that will make putting this book down virtually impossible. It's a definite MUST read book and series!
BTW, make sure that you have tissues on hand before you begin reading this book! It will have you laughing so hard that you'll be crying! You may also need them for the tragic and heartbreaking situations as well. Just wanted you to be aware!
It's very rare that I find an author who has created numerous books, and for me to like every one of them. There's usually at least a couple that either aren't my style, or is not something that I'm interested in. This is definitely not the fault of the authors, because everyone has their own personal preferences. I can honestly count the number of author's on one hand that I absolutely love each and every single book they've written, and Cee Bowerman is one of those few for me. I was initially intrigued by the unique covers of the books I saw (because they weren't the same half-naked people that's on almost every cover), but by the time I was reading the second chapter of the 1st book, I was forever hooked! I have read and absolutely loved every single story by this incredibly talented author, and no matter what series it is, I'm always looking forward to reading the next release. Her writing keeps me engaged in the story, as well as making me feel as though I'm right there with the characters that I have grown to love. The stories are unique, passionate, feisty, emotionally charged, as well as absolutely freaking hilarious! If you haven't already, I would highly recommend that you start from the beginning of all of the series'. There's a reading order guide at the beginning of every book. It may seem like a lot of books to read, but I guarantee that once you begin, you won't stop until you've completed them all. Enjoy!
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and exceptional author.

I can't wait for more stories!

The cast of characters is so large at this point with all these inter-connected series, it's fun, but hard to remember who goes with who. The fun comes when an outside is pulled into the clan and they get to see the crazy and how the new person deals with things. Tiny did pretty good and that is saying something because Willow and Lout's kids come with their own brand of crazy!

Right from the start Tiny got to see the crazy and he didn't run, instead he sort of sat back and watched and then figured out a way to deal with it that would work for him.

Tiny ended up being right were he was needed at the right time to help and it was fun to see the aftermath of that. He was so stunned in how he was treated, the exact opposite of what he expected.

Amethyst had her own troubles at her job, from the funny to the heart breaking. Through it all, she did what she needed to, to keep her kids safe. It was great to see a mother realize that, even it part of it was hard.

The ending to this one was perfect for this couple, just what they and their families needed.

Cee Bowerman is one of my go to authors and she does not disappoint in this 2nd book of the Rojo Gems. When we first meet Amethyst she is taken from a disgusting, horrible living situation and taken care of by her Uncle Lout and his wife Willow. As the books were written she is shown a definite wild child, especially her fights with Cydney (Squid)...lol. Now she's a grown woman and a pediatrician. She still squabbles with her sisters and cousins, etc. etc. and make for many lol moments. Tiny is a very serious, pensive kind of guy and you understand him more as you learn about his history. Amethyst and Tiny are great together and I'm happy she has found her one. I think I know what's up with Cydney but I'll have to wait and see.

Am an avid reader of Cee Bowerman’s books and have reread them quite a few times, so when a new book comes out, I can’t wait to start reading it. If you know these books you won’t be disappointed, but I would add, if this is the first time you’ve picked up her book, I would highly recommend to get the full benefits of ALL the characters and backstories, you read the series. Anyway, Amethyst part of the ROJO GEMS series, had me giggling and mad humour and repartee, heartbreak, drama and suspense and so much more. Would love to give this book 10 stars, and it will be a book I constantly reread. Highly recommended.

outstanding

I loved this book. It has characters that will pull you into their story to the point you will become embedded into their lives. This one has some very serious events that will hurt your heart, some will make you want revenge, some will make you laugh loudly, and some will make you very happy. After the last page, I still have a smile on my face wishes I was half as brave, witty and happy as these characters. Highly recommend this book. HEA, no cheating, no cliffhanger. Enjoy.

Great!

I chose this rating because this was a pretty good book. I enjoyed pretty much all of the characters. This was a book of compassion, kindness, motivation, understanding, and doing the right thing and also falling in love I enjoyed Tama'i and Amethyst story. The author did an amazing job putting these characters together. They both were compassionate and considerate of other people and there feelings. I did what was needed to protect there families. They made a great couple. Great read! I recommended this book to all romance readers and MC lovers.

This book will have you laughing till you have tears in your eyes. Amethyst patients are some of the best and Tiny’s workouts in the yard are hilarious when the girls catch him. The two of them together make a great pair. Then Tiny saves one of the family members and things go wrong but thanks to Amethyst family he’s back at her side. Definitely recommend this book and I know I’ll be reading it again too.

One of my Favorites

Next to Kale’s story I think this is one of my favorites. I absolutely loved Amethyst and adored Tiny. Both of their characters, their love of family, the loyalty they show, the quick quips, I loved everything about them individually and together as a couple. Of course, Ms. Bowerman includes the usual crazy shenanigans and many LOL moments. Definitely a five star read.

Tiny and Amethyst

I really enjoyed this story and seeing some of my favorite characters.
Wow, for the reason Tiny went to prison and I so hate that for him, but admire just the same.
Dr Amy and Archer just melted my heart, and yay for how she handled it, but even more so with the girls at the hospital when the ex girlfriend came out of nowhere. Epic scene.
Read the story and enjoy it for yourself, you won't regret it.

Highly recommend! Happy reading.

I have eagerly been awaiting Amethyst's book and CB completely exceeded my expectations! For her to fall for Tama'i, a big Samoan biker, it was just perfect. His family, his past, his devotion, their connection, her history, her job; it all just clicked. They were so perfect for each other. The way he fit in with her entire family, especially winning over her dad was incredible. I sincerely didn't want their story to end. Couldn't put it down, it was just too enthralling to pull myself away!

so good

Your stories are so amazing and are so smooth and flow so well that you don’t realize that you’re at the end of the book before you wanted it to be. This book shed light on the second generation and the kids and their tactics for destruction.

See how, everyone has grown and accepting and are now starting their families is amazing. I can’t wait for the next book and the growing family.

Another good story

Sometimes the author starts her books with a very complicated everyone is in the book and they're all talking together and it's hard to track and understand who they all are, even though she kindly explains. This was one of those for me but thankfully it soon got down to the main characters. I liked both Tiny and his girlfriend, Amethyst (Amy) a doctor. They're interesting and likeable

LOVED IT!

I don't know why Amazon wouldn't let me review this book🤔 This seems to happen a lot lately, especially when I try and review Ms Cee Bowerman's books🤔 I don't want to sound paranoid, but this is not the first time I've had to come to Goodreads to leave a review for Ms Cee! Could it be the 5 stars I want to rate it🤔 Well that's what I feel, but regardless Ms Cee is one of my favorites! A talented and amazing writer!😍

Hilarious!!

This book made me laugh more than I have in a while. I like this author's writing style & her workd creation. Her books are always an automatic purchase for me, but not every book is a 5 star. This one however, was definitely a hit! It reminded me more of those first books that made me fall in love with Rojo & it's characters. It was a fun, emotional read!!

I want my own Tiny

Loved Amethyst and Tiny's story. Particularly enjoyed the Samoan background and learning about a few bits of the culture.
As alway with Cee's books there's found family, take no shit strong women and the usual OG suspects.
Looking forward to seeing what's in store for Di next!

Series is well named Gems indeed

I can’t find the words to tell you how much I loved this book. I couldn’t put it down. I laughed until I cried and cried because I was sad. I lose myself in these books, I love the characters and the sass from these ladies is off the charts. Waiting for the next one already.

What's not to love about being back in Rojo with the crazy people and their extended family. Always a blast to visit, not sure I could handle living there but frequent visits are fun. Truth being that it always makes me a little sad that it's not a real place with real people because we could use a Martha or two.

Amethyst by Cee Bowerman

This series is a second generation in Rojo. Tama’i and Amethyst’s story is one of large families and love. They meet at a wedding and again when he comes to help take care of his sister’s kids while both her and her husband are deployed. Their courtship is fast. They get their HEA.

Love this story

Amy is an amazing woman and a strong protector of her family plus her patients. When someone does wrong to a child there is no holding her back.
When she meets a giant of a man with a past and a present that is proving to be a little difficult Amy is there to help him. Love this story and the way it flows with the characters.
