The Plot Twist: First Comes Longing
The girl -- Addilyn is a newly budding author, making a splash with her latest release. While her professional life is thriving, her personal life, not so much. Heartache has left her lonely, wondering what her life could be like if she too were one of the characters in her stories. A caged bird, begging for the courage to spread her wings and fly.

Wow!!!!
What an emotional roller coaster.
From the second these characters met each other I just knew the spark between them was going to be unreal. I absolutely loved this whole story line, and something about a single dad whew.
I did not expect it to end the way it did,but when I say I’m going to drop everything the second book 2 is out I mean it!!!!!

I’m not a huge romance reader, but I needed something to break up my thriller and historical fiction obsession. I saw this recommended in a Facebook group and when I saw it was on Kindle Unlimited I jumped on it and I am SO GLAD that I did!! Addi and Wilder are the perfect couple, and I think I’m now a fan of single dad, forced proximity tropes.
This was a quick read with some spice thrown in just because. Now I just need a follow up book already!!

So many typos - needs deep editing but the premise, banter, characters, storyline are amazing!

Ugh, I can’t handle the state this book left me in. The way Wilder LOVED Addi is so insane. The story punched you in the gut and ripped your heart out. The tropes are perfect and the smut is TOP TIER. The ending had my blood pressure up and left me absolutely gutted. I cannot wait to see what is next from Lacy. The Plot Twist was a book I didn’t know I needed but I’m so glad I found!
