If you like your men older and your women younger then get comfortable because you won’t put this one down until the last page has been turned. Jenna and Isabella grew up together since kindergarten really now sophomores in college home for vacation together at her dad’s home until Isabella decided to accept a study program in Italy leavy Jenna on her own for the summer she isn’t sure what to do with herself alone with a man she has crushed on for years but have hidden it very well. Vincenzo sexy as all get out father of Isabella hidden life prior to the birth of his daughter promises made to her mother before she past that he would protect her from his old life that included her best friend Jenna but he never thought he would be attracted to the little girl he watched grow up with his daughter she is now a women (he keeps asking himself when did that happen), and there are questions that will come up when she lets herself into a room that was supposed to be off limits. Truths start to come to light when she borrows clothes from an off-limits room in Isabella’s home to attend a party, but she ends up across his lap for discipline the rules. But he also woke something up in her making her want more leading them both down a path of discovery but will his past come back to cause problems, will he be ready for it, can he protect his girls, will she be on board to be pushed past her boundaries, will his daughter be okay with it all, and can they find happiness somewhere along the way of discovery?

This is my first review but i just had to because I was genuinely disturbed.
To start off, I DNF at 70%. I could not continue at all. There is so much lack of consent it made me feel queasy while reading. And don't get me wrong, I've red books with CNC but this wasn't that. There was no talk prior or a safe word, yet he still ignored her "No" and "Stop" pleas. He also did anal with her for her first time whilst she was drunk and begging him not to.
Now with the plot. Or lack there of. I was expecting an age gap, best friends dad, mafia, virgin, romance. The age gap is played as predatory, you don't really get the best friend's dad plot, little to no mafia, not a virgin, and the most romance was him saying "You're mine."
I'm sorry if I just bashed one of your favorite books but I just couldn't with this one. And to offense to the author, she has some good work this just isn't one of those.

Sara Fields returns with an unexpected forbidden romance between a shy and naive young woman with her best friend's dad. While the book initially started off strong for me, I was ultimately frustrated by some of the actions that the characters took in the end. However, the romance and sexual chemistry between Jenna and Vincenzo was certainly a selling point for the book. Fans of the author will know to expect the usual from her—a dominant and possessive hero who becomes infatuated with his sassy and defiant heroine. I didn't care much for the mafia side of the story because Vincenzo's old boss was out to frame him for his own nefarious deeds. It was a bit silly, and the fact that Jenna got kidnapped because of it had me eye rolling near the end. Thankfully, everything was resolved and our main characters got the happy ending they wanted with each other.
In the end, I enjoyed this book but it wasn't my favorite because I was annoyed with some of Jenna's actions throughout the book. She made some incredibly stupid mistakes and didn't handle being alone well. There was also the fact that Jenna also had body betraying syndrome, so she was no match for Vincenzo. I actually did like Vincenzo and appreciated his patience and sometimes mischievous nature with Jenna. He had been attracted to her but never made a move because of his daughter, Bella. However, things took a turn when Jenna stumbled upon his secret—all bets were off after that. If you are looking for a forbidden and age-gap romance between between a dominant and protective older hero and his innocent and defiant heroine, I recommend this book.

A wonderful read, terrific characters and excellent situation that will hold you riveted within its pages
Isabella is desperately trying to hide from her friend that she desperately wants her father Vincenzo Santoro, every pore simply oozes sex appeal and no matter how hard she has tried she has not been able to put him out of her mind.
Then Isabella had taken off for Italy to study on a special program and she has left her best friend Jenna behind and Vincenzo who has known her since she was a little girl and has been caring for his daughter since his wife died and has done everything, he could to ensure that she is kept as far away from his work as is possible.
Jenna finds herself in a room she knows is off limits in Isabella's home after she decided to let herself in and helps herself to some of the clothes for a party, this is something of a surprise and it seems that you will find this to be a dark, mysterious and action filled read that will keep you guessing from start to finish.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

Both Isabella and Jenna are juniors in college. Jenna is left alone for the summer while Isabella attends a foreign study program in Italy. She needs a dress to go out on the town. Bella's closet is the perfect place to look. She already knows how to get in their house. No one would notice.

My Best Friend’s Dad is a dark Mafia Billionaire romance story. My Best Friend’s Dad is the journey of Jenna and Vincenzo. Jenna is best friends with Isabella who is the daughter of Vincenzo. At a young age Jenna spent most of her time with Isabella at her home due to the fact that Jenna’s parents were more focused on their careers than their own daughter. This is all the details I’m going to be giving out because I don’t want to give out any other spoilers for the story. I believe that it’s best for a reader to read the book to find out what happens between the two main characters. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this amazing mafia romance story. I enjoy reading author Sara Fields books, I find that her books are exceptionally well-written just like My Best Friend’s Dad. I absolutely love the storyline of this book, I also love the characters and the outcome between Jenna and Vincenzo is fantastic. I would HIGHLY recommend this book to other readers. I’m looking forward to seeing what author Sara Fields comes out with next.

Whew, as always, this author delivers a sizzling hot, hot, hot read. The characters are very well written and engaging just as I've come to expect. This is a dark mafia romance with an age gap between the romantically involved characters. There are D/s and very erotic scenes that include spanking and rough sex, but there is also a happily ever after. If any of those themes offend you, then you probably don't want to read this book, but I loved this book and am recommending it to other readers.

He doubles the security around his daughter and then keeps security with Jenna while he is at work. Its not long before he punishes his curious cat for looking into places she shouldn't. Will Jenna find that she likes the side of Vincenzo that she's never seen before? Can they finally be together?
This is a steamy story that will hook you in the first chapter. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

My Best Friend's Dad is an age gap, forbidden romance with a touch of mafia danger thrown in. It follows Jenna Michaels and her best friend Isabella's dad Vincenzo Santoro who she's had a crush on. Without revealing too much of the storyline Jenna and Isabella are home from college for the summer. They had big plans from beach and pool days to movies even road trips but Isabella throws a loop in those plans when she leaves for Europe for a prestigious foreign studies program. Now Jenna feels lost but agrees to attend a party but needs something better to wear so what's a girl to do but go to besties house to raid her closet. Not a big deal until she decides to snoop where she knows she shouldn't and gets caught. What happens next you'll have to read to find out.

This is an older man, younger woman's forbidden romance and quite an entertaining story. Isabella and Jenna have grown up together and now are in college. They are home for summer break and have a lot of things planned to do together, until Isabella decides to go off to Italy for a study program. Vincenzo Santoro Isabella's father has watched Jenna grow up, since her and his daughter are bestfriends. Vincenzo can't help but look at Jenna differently, since she has grown into an attractive young woman.

This one just wasn't for me, I'm afraid. I really struggled to finish it but I got far enough that I wanted to try to get to the end.
I enjoy taboo relationships but the way they allude several times to him being like a father figure to her and him taking care of her when she was a girl, just gave me the ick.
I also never really saw any kind of consent, just a lot of her saying no, him forcing it, and her suddenly enjoying it. Also gave me the ick.
And like, the cops muttering that she should be spanked and then goading on her bodyguard when he threatened to do it in the backseat? Um, what? (I literally said that out loud)
I just never really felt the connection with these two. He comes off as a predator and she comes off as an immature teenager.
If you like the more extreme end of taboo, and lots of smut with minor plot, this might be more your cup of tea.

While reading the book I felt like this was the sequel and not a standalone. If you love lots of spice, insta-love, and fast plot then this book is for you. I didn’t like that it was too fast paced from they like each to them sleeping together to mafia war and the epilogue. I think there should be a prologue about Jenna’s life so you can better understand her role in everything and her upbringing. It was alluded to during the book but was a quick pit stops.

This was a hot and steamy read. Vincenzo Is Bella’s dad and Bella is best friends with Jenna. When Bella goes abroad for a work study program during the summer, lines are crossed between Jenna and Vincenzo. She had already been having lots of dirty thoughts about her best friend’s dad. He wants to keep his distance but that becomes hard, especially when a secret is revealed. This is an age-gap and forbidden relationship with some dark themes. There is some suspense and the connection they have becomes unbreakable. I really like the characters and the storyline. And oh my gosh, is the chemistry and smexy scenes hot and absolutely steamy. 🥵I was pulled in from the very beginning and was held all the way through to the end.

Jenna shouldn’t have been crushing on her BFF Bella’s dad. Vincenzo Santoro is hot and who wouldn’t want him? Jenna knows it would be the wrong thing to even think about it but he is so tempting. Vin isn’t what he seems. He is a loving father and restaurateur but there is something else that he is hiding from his daughter. When Jenna stumbles upon his secret, she gets a hot bottom for her troubles. But Vin ignites something in her and she wants more. These two are so explosive together. When they finally stop avoiding each other and let nature take its course, it really heats up. I love the story and the way Vin just pushes Jenna beyond her boundaries. He shows her passion and pain. Vin’s past came to cause problems for these two. Thank goodness he had Tony and some extra. The bonus story was hot and fun too.

Oh Sara Fields has done it again. I love how she has characters that are more than just one dimensional that just love getting down and dirty during the steamy scenes! And boy are they steamy! Love it!
Jenna has a huge crush on her best friends dad and she never thought it was reciprocated until Vincenzo caught her in a room she wasn’t supposed to be in.
The chemistry and the intense steamy scenes were so on point. Yes, they are intense, that’s how Sara writes. And I love it. I loved getting to know these two and seeing them come together. Definitely recommend.
If you don’t like intense spanking or punishment scenes please don’t read this book. For those of us who enjoy that? Sara writes it very very well!

Jenna has a huge crush on her best friends dad and she never thought it was reciprocated until Vincenzo caught her in a room she wasn’t supposed to be in.
The chemistry and the intense steamy scenes were so on point. Yes, they are intense, that’s how Sara writes. And I love it. I loved getting to know these two and seeing them come together. Definitely recommend.
If you don’t like intense spanking or punishment scenes please don’t read this book. For those of us who enjoy that? Sara writes it very very well!

Whew! Is it hot in here? I probably should have waited to read this until the weather was a bit cooler because straight up, this story left me all hot and bothered. I loved both Jenna and Vincenzo. Jenna was the right level of sassy LG, while Vincenzo was growly and hawt in all the ways I want in an MC. And together, their “interactions” were heart pounding and absolute page turners. There’s also an entertaining mafia plot line running through the story that’s engaging and helped keep the story moving. Of the Sara Fields’ books I’ve read this year, this one is officially my absolute fave and I think I’m going to reread it tonight.

This was a book that pulled my attention from the start. I loved the story it was well developed, the characters were sensational. Vincenzo Santoro has a big secret that he hides from his daughter and her best friend. That was until Jenna found the forbidden room unlocked and decided to look inside. Vincenzo catches her, now she's trying to get out of it. Vincenzo decides to punish her and that was the start of a hot, dark, kinky romance. Then Vincenzo's daughter comes home, what will they tell her, will she allow it or not.

Absolutely phenomenal. Jenna has had a crush on her best friend's dad for quite awhile, Vincenzo is seeing Jenna in a different way than his daughter's best friend. Vincenzo has a secret that he has kept even from his daughter. When Jenna stumbles upon it, her whole life gets turned upside down. But in finding out Vincenzo's secret, Jenna and Vincenzo find a love that exists between them and blossoms even more when Jenna becomes in danger from an old enemy of Vincenzo's. This book was really amazing and I loved the evolution of Jenna and Vincenzo's relationship, a beautiful story.

I was never truly able to fully get into their story. I struggled to finish it. I normally love age gap and D/s relationship. But this one didn't work for me because Jenna especially in the beginning acted so immature and childlike that it made it feel like a grown man was attracted to a literal child. So it just totally turned me off. You basically get caught snooping and you're going to sit there and challenge them like a child because they didn't tell you something that was none of your business oh I'm going to push his buttons and throw a little temper tantrum.

So I love this writer! This story wasn't a fav of mine. I think for me I enjoyed the story, the characters not so much.
I didn't feel the connection between him and her.
The story... that total mafia feel even if undercoverish 🙂
The "princess" spoiled. The friend... and a Papa with a secret.
Some danger, some young emo feels. Definitely some heat. In general a good story.

What starts off as a typical age gap romance explodes into so much more. Jenna has had a crush on her best friend’s dad for years. Never taking it further than in her fantasies. Vincenzo is hiding his past life from his daughter and friends. Jenna accidentally enters Vincenzo’s unlocked room and a chain of events start to unravel. Great mafia read.
